MY HUSBAND IS NOT A MURDERER
EPISODE 046

“Ah, the. I just found out that Alex likes to set traps, so he might set a trap to kidnap the victims. Oliv told me that,” Roy explained.

“Ah, true too. Journalist Roy, about the question you said earlier, about that voice. Maybe you should also tell my wife.”

Igor looked at Roy giving the code of his glance.

“Oh, the.” Roy hurried to play the footnote back.

Everyone immediately sat down to listen to the recording.

“That's him. Can you hear that, Detective? The sound of objects bumping into each other was near the person who was talking.”

“Which for sure, it is not too big an object, but I don't know, because the sound is not so clear.”

“What do you think it is?” ask Roy.

“Entahlah. How do I know that? If I had known, I would have caught that accomplice.” Oliv grinned widely.

“Hmm, you're right. If you know right away, then you're really a psychic, otherwise you're an accomplice yourself. Hahahaha.” Roy laughed out loud.

“However, I have an acquaintance and an agent who can analyze the audio of such a recording. I'm sure he can recover and clarify that voice.”

*BRAK! Roy called out to break the table. “You're so great, Detective. This is the reason everyone has a police officer in his family.”

Igor glanced at Roy again cynically.

“Good. Then, I'll go first.” Oliv put his jacket back on and stood up. “May you guys succeed, I'm sorry.”

“Wait, Miss Oliv. Do you want his accomplice caught?”

“Yes, of course. I was expecting that. I'm sure everyone also hopes like that,” replied Oliv staring at Roy and his sister.

“But, isn't it very possible that it is Arthur?” ask Eva, who pretends not to know, that Arthur is not an accomplice.

“No. It's not Arthur. I'm pretty sure it's.”

“How are you so sure about that?”

“Because the Arthur I know would never do anything like that,” Oliv said.

“I feel that the Arthur you know is very different from the Arthur I know.”

DEG!!! Oliv and Igor's heart skipped a beat hearing Eva's words. Igor's facial wrinkle instantly.

“I've met everyone he's been in contact with when he was a kid until he worked at a delivery place, before he disappeared.

Some of her schoolteachers once told me that while she was not feeling emotional, she could relate very well to others.

That way, he was convinced, once Arthur matured, he would manipulate others for his own sake. Whoever it is, friends, relatives, even his own wife or child, if he has.”

Igor was more and more astonished at Eva's words. He began to think, had Eva gone that deep into investigating him about Arthur? Igor could not say anything at that time.

“I also watched her counseling video when Arthur was a kid. He said, even if he wanted to kill someone, he would never do that.

With reason, just because he didn't want trouble getting rid of the human corpse, so, he chose to kill animals or anything that was easy for him, as long as it wasn't human.”

“Not Arthur did that!” snapped Oliv.

“Lantas who did that?” ask Eva to relax.

“Could it be if Alex did that? If so, why did little Arthur ever say that he did what Alex did? Don't you think that's weird, Miss Oliv?”

“Entahlah. I want to ask him that too. Why would he do that? Why did he say something he never did? I want to ask him that too.

How could he be. What was he thinking when he did that. Why was he blamed for what he didn't do.”

Oliv spoke excitedly and his eyes began to glaze over.

The two adult women clashed with each other and issued their own arguments.

Oliv kept his argument going, while Eva pretended to know nothing to see her husband's reaction.

Igor can't do anything to stop that. He nudges Roy's leg with his hand, hoping Roy can stop the heated debate.

Eva stood up from the sofa and looked at Oliv. “Nona Oliv. Is there something you want to tell me? Looks like, you wanted to say something, but, you kept holding him back. What did you mean by that?”

“Yes. I want to tell you something.” Oliv snorted looking intently at Eva. “I want you to know what I've done and it wasn't Arthur who did it.”

Things are getting tense. Igor was terrified that Oliv would confess that he was the one who had killed the poor farmer actually.

“What do you mean? Can you explain in more detail?” exclaim Eva. He was excited, because it was not in vain his efforts to continue fishing with his words.

“The farmer's killer...”.

*BYAR!!!!

“Gosh, I'm sorry, Reporter Roy!” Igor accidentally drops a glass of iced coffee on the floor, before Oliv finishes his words.

“Ah, shit! Jesus, this rug is so expensive, and you dropped coffee on it.” Roy goes along to distract Oliv and Eva.

“I'm sorry, Reporter Roy. My hand was very slippery, and accidentally dropped it. Next time, I will replace it with my more expensive metal craft.” Igor helped Roy wipe the carpet and floor with a tissue and mop.

“Gosh. Never mind, forget all this. I want you out of here right now. Leave me alone.”

Igor immediately invites Eva to leave Roy's apartment, leaving Oliv there.

Igor took Eva into the car to talk.

“I'm sorry, Honey,” said Igor.

“For what?” eva asked ketus without any expression.

“Because I didn't tell you that I was working with Journalist Roy.”

“Tak, what. You don't have to share everything with me just because you're married. Really, I'm fine.”

“Thank you, Darling.” Igor grinned widely.

“I also didn't tell you everything just because we're married, so, I don't have a problem with that.” Eva turned her face.

“Wait another? Let's go. Do you want to drive me? If you're busy, I can book a taxi myself. I have to get back to the office.”

“Hmm. Alright.” Igor starts the car engine and goes to drive Eva to his office.

During the trip, Eva simply turned her face away. He stared at the outside view from behind the car window. Keep thinking about everything that happened.

“If you were Alex, how would you give the car keys to your accomplices?” ask Eva suddenly.
