Roy sat down next to Oliv.
“Already, Liv. It's only natural you don't remember. You were 19 years old.” Roy looked back at Oliv's face full of admiration.
“Gosh. I should have remembered the man's face.”
Roy was still gawking at Oliv for a moment. Oliv has made Roy obsessed with him.
While Igor was just silent while looking at Roy's gaze on his brother.
*PLAC!!!
“Alright, everything. You guys seem to be sad. How good we are to eat something. We'll pass out if we don't eat something.” Roy patted his palm. Grabbing her phone to order food.
“Oliv, you used to really like burgers. Do you remember?” Roy looked at Oliv then, staring back at his phone.
“You used to say that we would order a salty-each jumbo burger as an adult. How about now? We're all grown up. Do you still want to eat a burger?”
Oliv looked down smiling considering his past with Roy.
“Hei, Roy! Are you enjoying the situation?” Igor grunting. “Capturing an accomplice is second to you. Your main goal is to get my brother's heart back.”
“What do you mean?” Roy folded his forehead.
“Am I wrong? If I'm wrong, look me right in the eye and repeat the words 18 years ago, when you dumped him.”
Roy gulped down saying nothing.
“You don't remember that, brother? You came home crying and asked me if your eyes looked like the monster eyes of my father.”
“Hei, Arthur! Shut the fuck up!” Roy glared furiously at hearing those words.
“Patience, Roy!” Oliv calms.
“I don't care what you do after you meet again, even if you want to sleep together, but, do not do it in front of me. Do it somewhere else if you want to make out,” stressed Igor.
“Now we have to focus on this.” Igor held up the cell phone with the sound of foot recordings.
“We have to listen to the voice behind this guy. I'm sure I've been to that place.”
“Stop your bullshit!” Roy was upset to turn off the voice player from the phone.
“Roy!” Oliv held Roy's hand his anger didn't rise.
“You've always stopped me, Liv. I am a normal person who feels thousands of emotions. It's only natural that I have feelings or emotions when I see you. I'm not like your sister who can't feel anything.”
“What do you think I am?” Roy looked at Igor. “Do you think I'm a fool? You don't know how to thank or apologize. You have no shame, and you are very selfish.
Think with your brain. Who else would help you with your situation like this, if not me? Most people wouldn't be able to handle you if you were like this, not even your wife.
Just try showing the other side of you to Detective Eva. I'm sure he's very sorry he married you.” Roy.
“Please yourself, Roy. Arthur is fixated on one reason now. That's why he does.”
The three adults quarreled instead, forgetting their search for the accomplice.
“In the end, this will be a playground for you. You are completely useless.” Igor snorted angrily at Roy.
He stood up and was about to leave Roy's apartment.
“Arthur, sit! Sit down and listen to me! If you still think I'm your brother, then sit back.”
Igor sat down with a sewot.
“Arthur, tell me what you really want to say. That's the only way Roy can help you.”
“I've said what I want,” Igor replied after turning his face away.
“Not just words from your mouth. Think about what you feel most right now. That's what I mean.”
“I don't understand what you're saying, Kak.”
“No. I know you understand.”
Igor grunting. “How can I know something I don't?”
“Of course you know. You've changed a lot, Arthur. I know that you can't feel anything and have no desire, but now you've changed.
You love your wife so much and you don't think you can hide it. You also have desires and hopes, which you never thought of before.”
The atmosphere is back. Igor could not say anything to refute his brother's words, because Oliv's words were all true.
Arthur was abnormal. He has no taste or desire in his life.
In fact, he had to learn how to understand the expressions of everyone he met. From talking to smiling.
But now it is different. He begins to have empathy, a sense of belonging, and a desire to do something, but, Igor still doesn't want to admit it.
“I just want to live as Igor, not Arthur. There's nothing I want to do or want other than that. I don't want to lose my life. Whatever happens,” said Igor seriously sighed.
“That's the only thing I feel. I never wanted or intended to upset you.” Igor looked at Roy.
“I guess I know all there is to know about normal people's emotional responses, but sometimes I don't understand why people get upset.
Should I say thank you and sorry to you now? I can say that as much as you want, as long as you want to help me to the end.”
“Ah, shit! Forget it!” Roy's upset. “Do what apologize if it was forced?” Roy scratched his hair that was not itchy.
“However, this won't help anything. Even if we listen to him repeatedly, we'll never know, except for you.” Roy went back to talking about the voice recording.
“However, I was able to meet with Detective Mike because I was so close to him. Maybe I'll get her drunk, ask about her investigation, and hope she'll mispronounce and tell me.”
“Thanks a lot, Roy.” Oliv looked at Roy seriously. He knew that only Roy could help him and his sister for now.
“Tak what. You don't need to thank me, if you intend to replace the thanks from your sister.”
