MY HUSBAND IS NOT A MURDERER
EPISODE 045

*!!!!!

“SIAL! That's Detective Eva!” Roy is shocked and drops his phone when he sees Eva calling him.

“You guys just calm down. I'll take care of it. Everything's gonna be fine. No need to panic. Especially you, Arthur. Don't make any noise. You understand?” Roy calms Oliv and Igor.

“Halo, Detective Eva. Uhuk. What is it gonna take?” Roy answered the phone pretending to cough.

“Reporter Roy! Are you sick?”

“Gosh. I'm having a sore throat. Is there a problem so you call me?”

“Yes, that's it. I want to meet you. Are you home?”

“Uhuk! I'm sorry, Detective Eva. I'm not feeling well and don't want to make you uncomfortable.”

“Hmm. All right, then. Hope you get well soon Journalist Roy. See you next time.”

The three people simultaneously sighed after the closed call. Roy smiled at Oliv.

*DONG! Roy's apartment bell.

“That's him. Finally the burger came.” Roy stood up and opened the door.

JRENG!!!!

Instantly Roy sculpted. He grimaced but was restrained when he opened the door. It turned out that it was not the delivery courier, but Eva who was already standing at the door and looking at Roy with a small smile.

She knew that her husband was inside and Roy must have lied to her on the phone.

“Jeez, it turns out you, Detective Eva,” said Roy loudly so that Oliv and Igor make it from the inside. Roy dyed back to scratch his hair that did not itch.

“I called your office and your boss was so happy that you got exclusive news. I was curious about that, then, I came here.”

“Exclusive news? It's nothing. I was home all day because my strep throat was relapsing.” Roy went back to pretending.

“Excuse me, food is coming!” The food courier came with a few packs of burgers.

“Ah, okay. Thanks, Sir!” Roy receives a few packs of burgers and the courier looks down, and leaves.

“Well, what the hell is this? You got strep throat but ordered a burger instead?” ask Eva cynically.

“Jeez, Detective. Some people say, you should eat a lot of good when you're sick. Eating well when sick is very important. The thought of your pain will disappear if you taste good from your food.”

Eva just smiled a little hearing Roy who kept lying. She knew her husband was inside Roy's apartment.

Eva peeked inside the apartment and saw two pairs of shoes in front of the doormat.

“Do you have guests? Who her? Is he your informant? You have the latest news you're gonna publish? Wow, that seems interesting.”

“Ah, what do you mean, Detective? Where might I invite an informant home. Speaking, Detective. How about you meet me in an hour at that coffee shop across the street?”

“No. I don't want to go to the coffee shop alone. I'll wait for your business here until it's done. Go back in, and get your business done with your informant.

If you are interested, then share your information with me. I'm sure it would be very useful if it was related to the case I'm investigating.”

“Gosh. There's no such thing, Detective.” Roy whining.

“Reporter Roy, what's the problem?” ask Igor. He comes to the door so Eva doesn't get suspicious of Roy. It was also impossible for him to escape back then, so, he chose to blatantly.

“Eva? Why did you come here? Is there a problem?” Igor looked at Eva.

“Gosh. I didn't think we'd meet here. How about yourself, honey?”

“I'm only helping Journalist Roy. He was just like you, telling me to investigate the metal craft made by Arthur.”

“Wah, this time you were caught lying to me, Reporter Roy. What exactly are you hiding with my husband by lying to me?”

“No. There's nothing like that. I'm not hiding anything.” Roy doesn't know what else to do. He just complied with Igor.

“Then can I come in and join you?”

Roy just nodded.

Eva takes off her shoes and enters Roy's apartment.

“Nona, Oliv?” ask Eva to see Oliv over there.

Oliv stood up in panic. “Ya, right. I'm Oliv. We've met at the dance studio before,” he said politely.

“Gosh. I barely recognized you, because the atmosphere when we first met was very different. That day, you were so indifferent and cold to me.”

Oliv lowered his head in fear that his sister's true identity would be revealed. “At that time…. Forget about that. I'm sorry, at that time I was very upset because of the many problems I was facing.”

“Tak what. You don't have to apologize to me.”

“Journalist Roy!” Eva looked at Roy who went back in with her husband. “I'm sure this time you will publish a very good article. You have help from my husband and Miss Oliv.”

“By the way, today is my first day meeting with Mr. Igor, while Roy, I've known him since we were in High School. I thought I could help him catch that accomplice,” Oliv panicked.

“I didn't come here to investigate. You don't have to explain that to me.” Oliv smiled cynically looking at the panicked Oliv.

“Ah, alright.” Oliv looked down in shame.

Eva looked at a whiteboard that was already filled with scribbles about the accomplices and all the things related to it.

“What is it?” Eva walked over to the blackboard. His eyes looked at all the writing, with no one missing from his sight.

Roy makes iced coffee ground palm sugar while Eva looks at the board.

“Traps? What does this mean?” muttered Eva in the heart.

“Eva, is it possible that I've obstructed the investigation you've done, just because I helped Journalist Roy? Have I disturbed you?” Igor stepped closer to Eva.

“Not really. Why do you think so? Isn't that what Journalist Roy is all about? He will continue to find out the latest news by bringing anyone.”

“Everything, let's drink first. I've made iced palm sugar coffee for you.” Roy comes from the kitchen carrying a few glasses with trays, puts them on the guest table.

“This is for you, Detective Eva.” Roy gives Eva one glass.

“Wah, are you a psychic? You know very well if I need a sweet cold drink.” Eva tasted that iced coffee a little.

“Hmm. It's called Sensitivity. I was born with that talent.” Roy hands out the glasses one by one to Oliv and Igor.

“What if we cooperate with each other and help each other? You also try to find the accomplice, it will be easier for us if we work together,” suggested Eva.

Everyone was silent hearing that.

“It seems, I won't be able to help much for that, Detective.”

“This what does TRAP mean?” Eva pointed at the writing on the board.
