Maya Adisti
Day

I rushed to the elevator, all the way I just hoped the bike was fixed and it was in place. If there isn't, I intend to go to college using public transport. It feels so good to be able to go alone.

When I arrived at the bassement my eyes were getting sparkling, the BMW S 1000 RR was parked pretty in place. There were no accidents, the bike was as smooth as the first time I saw it.

I never thought Akash would fix this bike. I got on the bike and started the engine. I saw the full-fledged fuel indicator. I checked the brakes and the others. Goody.

I grabbed my phone and took a photo of the dashboard of the motor and sent it to Akash via the chat app.

[I borrowed it for a moment. Going to college to get a graduation letter, ] I wrote in a message.

Without thinking, I left the apartment. Relieved to see the streets of Bandung City, months of silence in the room like a bird in a cage really makes me tired amazing.

I tried so hard not to go too fast because I was so happy. When else can I be like this? I was tired of playing the role of princess in the palace for too long.

I was a little anxious to think about how Akash responded to what I did this time, but I'm sure the man would understand. Let's just say this is my graduation gift, one day to be myself.

At the red light of Samsat Carefour I stopped. The high sun made my whole body feel hot and hot. I want to take off my helmet and start a cigarette.

I opened the glass helmet, as I looked around someone patting my arm a little hard.

"Ish, really gening. Maya!?"

"Eh, Brig!. Kirain who?" sahutku.

He's Andri one of my classmates who used to be called Jabrig because of his long hair.

"Where's the truck?"

"The campus is getting a graduation letter" I replied

"*Hayu*lah. Mawa teu's match?" ask Andri.

I handed the lighter to him. I saw him lighting a roco, blowing his smoke slowly. Looked relief at the expression on my friend's face.

"Married to the CEO or not smoking?" ask Andri.

"Still, but not often. His jang naon aing mamawa matches, Brig!" my answer.

"May's Style! Motorna ge duh! Can dong ya pinjem money..," Andri laughed loosely.

"Whisper!"

Then Andri and I kept quiet for fear of disturbing other riders. Traffic Light turned green, Andri nodded at me then darted. I followed him in the back.

The road is quite quiet after passing through the crossroads of Chileunyi-Sumedang. I'm increasing the speed, trying to line up Andri. That man is one of my closest friends. I used to borrow a motorbike if my bike was running a cold asking for Kang Workshop's dielus-elus. Andri's a rich kid, it's only natural that he's got some bikes.

Andri and I entered the campus area, the cool breeze typical of my campus began to feel. Cold crack when parking the motor and removing the helmet. My college is very beautiful. In addition to the park, a lot of large trees are deliberately not cut down.

"Hayu May!" bring Andri. I followed him into the Faculty of Cultural Sciences.

We both headed to the faculty counter and immediately mentioned our needs. Me and Andri were both in court yesterday.

"For the retrieval of your diplomas fill in this yes, ask for signatures on each section." Administration staff provide the thesis submission sheet both physical and digital.

"That's a lot," I said as I looked at who the thesis should be handed over.

"Define May's money!" andri timpal.

Moments later the staff handed him two envelopes containing graduation letters. After checking it out, Andri and I left the faculty.

"May!"

I looked towards the clothes not far from the faculty. Right under the banyan tree some of my theater community friends were sitting there. There's Romi, Robi, Muhsin, Lisna and Echi. They were enjoying a bowl of chuanki. A man with silver dependents sat not far from them.

I took Andri and joined them.

"Chuanki May?" tawar Romi's.

"By, one Mang. Pakein noodles yes," I said to Mr. Seller Chuanki.

"Well, it's Maya karak! Know this one, Mah! Wear levis pants, t-shirt, jacket! Kamari mah saha? Teu wawuh!" said Robi.

"Nu kamari mah jurig jarian Bi!" timpal Echis.

"Traktir atuh May," whined Lisna.

"Sok, I pay" I replied

"May's juice ah, May's money!" Muhsin thrust his right hand at me.

I took out my wallet and gave him a hundred thousand bills.

"Alpuket yes!" my spoken.

Another friend mentioned the order. Muhsin nodded then passed towards the gate not far from the parking lot. There's a juice shop behind our campus. We do this often, we treat each other.

After our food ran out I took out a pack of cigarettes from my jacket pocket. I took the cigarette and lifted it a little high as a signal that it could be taken by anyone.

I immediately paid for the food and sat back down and started to turn on the lighter.

"Geez! Maya! Still smoking? My tea salaki's vain era! Your husband doesn't smoke?" ask Echi.

"Nga! Akash did not smoke, he died euweuh batur! Horang-huleng scarecrows tea," I complained.

Everyone laughs. Soon Muhsin returned with juice and distributed it. We also talked to and fro. Most of what we talked about was their preparation that would start soon.

"Follow it May! Garapan Again, no rame no you," asked Echi.

"Udah blocking yet?" I asked Romi.

"Yet. Just reading, just walking while casting."

"Isn't what?" I'm curious because my interest in theater is amazing.

"Richt. The girl is less" replied Romi.

"Sundanese?"

"Yes, I will join the west Java festival later in Rumentang Siang," Lisna chimed.

I took a deep breath, wanting to feel like I was coming with them. Feel the frenetic return of the show. Become part of the annual festival that I usually follow whether it be a committee or participant.

"Can't be like it. Akash won't take it" I replied, sipping my cigarette back.

Long time we chat until finally Muhsin nudged me a little hard. I looked at him for wonder.

"That! Salaki's car isn't it?" Muhsin pointed with the tip of the daguna.

I looked, really. I know damn well it's Akash's car. I turned off my cigarette when I saw Akash coming out the back door of the car. I frowned, as he carried the helmet in his hand and walked towards me. Akash lets his car pass by being carried by the driver.

"Your husband doesn't work May? How come this clock is here?" ask Robi.

"Paeh aing!" sassy ku. I heard my friends holding back laughter. Goddamnit!

Akash stopped in front of me with a sharp look.

"Where's your graduation letter?" ask Akash.

I handed over my graduation letter to Akash. The man checked and put the letter in the pocket behind his suit.

"Are you smoking again?"

"Smoking Mister! Smokin! Take a pack!" answer Romi.

"Cooker strand!" I told Romi. When did I smoke that much?

"Let's go home!" Akash pulled my hand away from my chuckling friends. Damnit damnit!
