I glanced at Maya who was cleaning up her sandals, why was that girl standing there for so long?

I tried to ignore him but his behavior intrigued me. After removing the sandals suddenly Maya's facial expression turned grim. I told him to tidy up his groceries but he didn't care what I said.

My curiosity grew even greater as he closed the door of the room loudly. I remained silent for a while until I finally went to check on her condition.

I saw him fall asleep against the door. Just about to enter the apartment bell rang I closed the door slowly and then rushed to open the front door.

"Mother? What's up?"

"You okay Akash?" ask mom while she goes into the apartment.

"I'm fine ma'am."

"You? What are you shopping for?" I was surprised to see so many shopping bags on sofas and carpets.

"It belongs to Maya" I replied indifferently.

"May? Maya who?"

"My wife is mom, then who?"

"You mean that girl at your wedding? Where's she?" Mom's face changed, she walked over, opening the room door to confirm Maya's existence.

"You brought him here?" ask mom again.

"Yes mom, what should I do? I married her already."

"You're right, I hope you can move on quickly and accept Maya. I don't have to bother to get you to pick up Maya. Then I'll ask your father to extend the leave period and rearrange your honeymoon itinerary" said the mother with enthusiasm.

"No ma'am, what for?" my prevent.

"Don't argue! The day after you leave with Maya!" said mother firmly.

"Mom, how could I go with a woman I just met?" my protest.

"Just take this journey on a mission so you can get to know each other better" replied the mother.

Mom walked out of the apartment, while I continued to protest at mom's decision.

"Remember Akash, Maya, that's your wife, not someone else."

"But ma'am.," I'm not done yet I'm talking mom shut the door hard.

I squeezed my hair in annoyance, grabbed all the flattened shopping bags and kept them on the mattress beside the sleeping Maya.

I approached him standing looking at his shady face, his forehead slightly wrinkled. I looked back, the orange violet that entered through the window made him glare. I turned around to close all the curtains and turned on the lights.

"I? Go with this girl, who's right?" muttered.

The next day I took Maya away, my intention to buy supplies and food for the honeymoon. Mom gave me ten days, two days of commuting back and forth and eight days of time I would spend with Maya there. Mom also booked a hotel and tour guide, did you accidentally kick me out?

Maya initially refuses to leave, but after being persuaded by her mother by phone she agrees. Maya exits the room using denim jeans, T-shirts and her signature jacket. I pulled her hand back into the room, I opened her wardrobe and grabbed the cardigan I bought yesterday.

"Wear this," I said.

"Why?"

"It's okay, just wear it."

Maya took off her jacket and put on the cardigan, I came closer to untie her hair. I can feel the scent of perfume filling my sense of smell. If you look at Maya more beautiful if her hair is stroked. Her hair was straight but curls at the bottom, I subconsciously smiled looking at her.

To be honest, since seeing Maya wear lehenga some time ago somehow it feels like there is a magnet on this girl. Especially when Maya dances with me, I seem to be taken to a dimension that I also do not know where.

My grandfather was a native Indian, he was born in Mumbai City. Born to a wealthy family, my grandfather was given the mission of expanding his business in the field of hospitality and furniture to Indonesia. Finally after a long effort grandfather managed to open a branch company here, Bandung City.

Now under my father's leadership the grandfather company is already an independent company. Not a branch company anymore and more focused engaged in hospitality, apartments and travel. Dad managed to open many branches of hotels and apartments in major cities in the country in collaboration with his brother, Uncle Dhika.

Not only that, the father and uncle also managed to open branches in several other countries. That's what makes the father often travel abroad, whether it's with his mother or other business partners.

A year ago I succeeded my father in the position of President Director. Dad, even though his age is not too old he already feels bored should always go there and take care of the company. He said it was time he enjoyed life, being a shareholder for him was more than enough, just like uncle Dhika.

"Aci…."

Maya's call broke my daydream, I immediately pulled my hand from the back of her head and turned away.

"Am I so embarrassing to you? Is my appearance so bad?" Maya's question stopped me.

"No" I answered.

"Then why?"

"I don't want your appearance to be a gossip of others Maya, especially if you enter the media." The answer I said is true. I don't want any cheap gossip in the media especially if the facts about this marriage are exposed.

"I hope you understand May, now let's go" I asked.

Maya followed me in the back. Out of the elevator I pulled Maya's hand so our steps aligned. It is very strange if the couple is far apart. From the tail of my eyes I could see Maya turning her head and watching me for a moment.

Ah Ruth, if only you were here. This trip is your dream. We've planned this before, it hurts like I have to go with another woman.

I bought some more clothes for Maya, canned food, medicine and some other necessities. We walked together pushing the trolley, and I saw Maya flicking her hair a few times as if she was uncomfortable.

"Maya is soon." I reached into her pants pocket, pulled out the hairband she was wearing and stood behind her. Maya touches her hair, wondering what I'm doing.

"Akash, are you braiding it?"

"Little." I did grab some of her hair and braid it, while the other hair I let down. I also left a thin bangs framing her face.

"Reverse," I commanded.

I nodded and pushed back the trolley. Maya pecked a while ago to catch up with me.

That night at the apartment, I dropped off some suitcases and large bags that I used to travel with. I also took out the clothes I was going to bring, Maya was the same.

My phone shook, I opened the message and rushed outside to the lobby. An office staff was waiting for me there. After giving the envelope containing the documents the staff left.

I went back to Maya who was busy free, she also packed the items I had chosen into the suitcase.

"Here" I handed the brown envelope to Maya.

"What's this?"

"Passport and visa for tomorrow, my mother took care of it. The mother who took all the necessary documents to your house told your mother about our departure" I explained.

It seems like mother's arrival yesterday was indeed for this. Maybe I planned everything. Looks like mom also found out from her men that I was looking for Maya. I don't know when you came to Maya's house, if not? Passports and Maya visas will not be completed so soon. Mom always moves fast.

"Don't you make the same passport visa must be photographed first huh? I didn't" asked Maya as she opened the envelope.

"Just ask your mother. Maybe you gave me a photo at home," I replied.

"Oh, yes. This is a photo of the time I enlisted as a theater festival organizer. Where are we going?"

"Zurich, Switzerland." I replied.

"Well?!"
