A few months later...
"Are you really going home?" I asked my mother who was packing her things.
"There's no way mom's always been here, Maya, not feeling good about your husband. Your condition is much better, right?"
I walked towards my mother. He was right, my health was growing. I can do this without using any more tools. It's just that Akash is still limiting my wiggle room and it makes me saturated. Staying in the apartment all day and doing nothing makes my head feel like it's going to break.
"Have you finished, ma'am?" Akash appears in the doorway of the room. He's been neat wearing a suit and tie.
"Would you like to go to the office?" I asked Akash.
"After dropping off his mother" Akash replied.
"May I take a walk outside?"
"No." Akash stared intently at me.
"Come on Akash, I'm bored."
"Wait for me to come home, I'll take you wherever you want. Come Mom!" Akash took my mother's bag and left first.
"Take care of yourself?" Mom kissed the tip of my head and went after Akash.
I took a breath and grabbed the phone. When I saw the date I just remembered my script hearing was only a few days away. Quickly I open a group chat with college friends to make sure there is no info changes schedule.
I actually missed the first schedule. Luckily the campus opened the registration of kloter two thesis session. Akash took care of everything until I was finally able to join the trial at kloter this time without having to pay the administration again. What a profitable coincidence.
I brought my laptop and cigarettes and some books from the closet and sat on the balcony of the room. I'd rather learn than be bored.
I read one chapter after another that I've written and the revisions that I've made. It's so different, it's definitely better Akash's writing. This made me worry, I was afraid that my lecturer would notice it.
Several times I complained to Akash but he thought nothing would happen. In fact, Akash only revised the introduction and theoretical studies. Yes indeed, the source of the section is easily found in various books and journals. The last three chapters have nothing that Akash changed.
Waiting for Akash to come home was a long time ago. I don't know how many cigarettes I spent today. Immediately I threw away the marks, otherwise the man would have been angry. Upset waiting I finally decided to clean up the house. I'll change the bed linen and the blanket. Akash's smell was too sensitive.
It was late in the afternoon and I cleaned myself and cooked. I never forgot my promise to cook. It's just that, since the accident, Akash has always been against me. I can learn a lot from my mom, but I can only pay attention. I'm trying to remember the recipe that mom cooked as much as I could.
When my cooking was almost done I heard the door open. Akash came home with a slightly wrinkled face.
"Maya, are you cooking?" ask Akash.
"Yes" I replied with a smile.
"I told you if you're hungry just order it."
"I'm bored of Akash. You want your wife to suddenly freeze from being too quiet?" I turned around, continuing my unfinished work.
Seconds later, I realized what I was saying.
"Damn you Maya! What are you, by the way?!" rukkukku in the heart. I hope Akash doesn't realize my attitude.
My ears clearly captured how Akash kept his bag a little rough on the sofa. It made me spread unnoticed. I did the talking but I was wrong.
"Gee!" I threw the dishwasher foam I was holding a little rough into the sink.
I washed my hands and when I turned around, I was surprised that Akash was already standing behind.
"Why?" akash asked with a smile.
"It's okay, I forgot I haven't brought a plate to eat," I replied as I moved away, but Akash stopped me by holding the end of the sink with both hands.
"Say again. I like that" Akash said.
"Which one?" I pretend I don't understand.
"You said you were my wife."

"You're beautiful Maya, don't keep us late." Akash came in and pulled my hand out of the room. I saw Akash go first.
I rushed into my shoes and followed him out. He stood carrying a bag containing a bundle of my thesis. We walked down the aisle and when we got to the lobby a staff member handed Akash the car keys.
"Thank you" Akash said and was answered with a nod by the staff.
"Would you wait or go to the office?" ask me when the car starts to move away from the hotel area.
"To the office."
Hearing Akash's reply my heart was a little disappointed, but he was right. He couldn't have wasted his time. Why should I be sad?
"You don't mind, do you?" Akash looked at me before he refocused on the highway.
"No, too long ago. It could be all day," I replied.
"When you want an announcement, call me."
Akash's car stopped right in front of the faculty. Akash opened the door next to me from the inside. The smell of the perfume was getting closer. I didn't realize I was smiling.
Just now I was about to come out suddenly Akash pulled me. He kissed me slowly. It surprised me a little and shook me. Quickly I neutralized myself so as not to get carried away.
L'm out. Waiting until Akash's car completely disappeared, but just now it was moving my friends were running towards me. All right, time to spend some time on myself.
After attending the opening event I and a few friends waited in the faculty lobby. When looking around there are only people who are flipping through the script sheet. Not a few of them are memorizing, while I? Confused which part I should read.
Time goes fast, I don't know how many people come in and out of the lecturer room. My name was also called. At first I was relaxed, but when I entered the room my voice shrunk a little.
The three examiners sat behind the table in seriousness. In front of them was a table with a projector on.
"Oh, is this what a thesis hearing feels like? How is it different from a presentation?" my inner.
Realizing that slowly my nervousness evaporated. I can finish my explanation and answer the questions of the examiners well.
I waited for the time of the judiciary in the campus cafeteria with my friends, but all I did was check my phone many times. There was no message from Akash there. He didn't even ask if my script trial was going well or not.
By late afternoon, all the final-level students gathered in the faculty hall for the graduation and judiciary announcements. In the middle of the show, I secretly called Akash but he didn't pick up.
[It's almost done, Akash. Are you going to pick me up or not?] write me in a message.
My focus was immediately distracted by the announcement of the names of the students who graduated today. The atmosphere that had been quiet became boisterous when one by one the name was mentioned.
"Maya Adisti."
I was grateful in my heart when my name was mentioned. Finally after a year and a half of struggling with thesis and life, I graduated as well.
The event was over, all the students came out of the hall. They were welcomed by their families and relatives. Rumbles of carefree laughter and cries filled the faculty. I looked at the happy faces of my friends one by one.
"May! Here's photo!" yelled one of my friends.
I approached them and joined in on some shots.
"Your husband's not here, May?" ask friend.
"Say, pick it up" I replied.
"Busy is May? Director's Kan!"
I don't answer, maybe Akash is busy today. I walked out. Trying to breathe oxygen a lot because in the faculty too many people. Yes, outside is the same.
"May!"
