Chapter 8's

We enjoyed our dinner and I told him to go to bed. Alan insisted on sleeping alone because of something Hogan told him about the big boys. She's adorable to me, I love her like she's mine.

After a short bedtime story and a discussion about our activities for tomorrow that consisted of him following me to the morning shoot and going to buy some drawing tools for us because we both wanted to test his drawing skills our.

Just as I was about to close my eyes my phone rang and it showed Hogan.

"Don't worry, she's fine, she's been eating and going to bed and tomorrow she'll follow me to the photo shoot and we'll go shopping next.. Oh and he hasn't missed you.” Lia.

Hogan only laughed when I didn't return his greetings and directly talked about Alan.

"What about you? Missed me so much?" ask Hogan.

Lia felt her pale white face warming up in the way Hogan teased her because it was true that she missed Hogan.

"You're so full of yourself. Fortunately Alan is not like you." Lia bit her lips as if she knew that Lia was thinking about it before she called.

Hogan heard a manly laugh but remained sweet at the same time. He is enjoying the moment.

"Well, it's too bad because I've missed you"

Lia felt dizzy inside, happy to hear such a confession even though she did not know for sure if it was real.

"owhhhhhhhh.. Pl-please.... What a sweet talker. So then.. Have you arrived safely?" ask Lia.

Lia was lying on her bed comfortably with the phone in her ear.

"Yes, I went straight to the meeting and just got back. Tomorrow is another deal."

"Have you eaten?" ask Lia.

"I just ordered room service, I'll eat after this. Thank you for asking and thank you again for taking care of Alan for me. For the first time I find it easy when I'm on a business trip." Hogan.

"Stop thanking me, I did it for my own selfishness."

"What do you mean?" ask Hogan

"Because I love her, I agree. I want to spend time with the baby." Said Lia.

Hogan was happy because he sincerely loved Alan. He has been looking for a life partner who can love Alan unconditionally. Most of them did it for money and status but he did not see it in Lia.

Lia can see the charming side of Hogan and Hogan find Lia's way towards a sexy and beautiful personality in her.

The two of them said good night to each other even though their hearts wanted to continue chatting until morning but both had responsibilities they had to fulfill the next day.

Hogan was ready to enjoy his dinner and sleep, it was a tiring day for him, but George came in with the archives and he knew it was something urgent because he didn't wait until tomorrow.

"There's intel about a certain group that targets kidnapping Alan to threaten you."

"Which group?" ask Hogan

"LEX."

Hogan laughed at that because LEX was a small gangster group from downtown. He wonders how they will accomplish their mission when Alan is heavily guarded and protected.

"I know what you're thinking but I'm afraid it's being used by higher players"

"It's possible, just order our people to bring the whole group into our cells. Treat them well and I hope the next process will be easy."

George nodded his head and walked out.

Hogan checked the LEX gang files to see potential recruits. That's how Hogan expanded his Mafia gang members, he didn't go and torture and kill to get what he wanted.

To his own gang members, Hogan was like a father who took care of his children because to Hogan his men were his family.

In the underworld business you can't trust anyone but your own family and that's what Hogan did, changing gang members and treating them like family.

After dinner, Hogan went to bed.

I woke up early to get ready for work. It's easy to manage Alan that makes Lia love him even more. He was indeed a spoiled child with his father but he was independent according to Lia.

Lia decided to have breakfast on the road as a safe time and she would get extra sleep.

Lia walks into the company building managing her modeling career elegantly with Alan by her side.

Every time she walked in society would see a walking angel enjoying her beauty but today everyone is wondering who is the boy holding hands with the famous top model Lia.
