Chapter 22's

This time it was Kevin who was surprised, he felt relieved because his voice was low so no one else could come here.

Kevin called Hogan to meet him but did not tell Hogan what it was about. Hogan was thinking whether this was about his partnership or maybe he wanted to talk about Lia. But Hogan had been dating Lia for a few months now and they were fine with it.

Hogan walks into his office with George, his secretary Kevin tells Hogan that Kevin is already waiting for him. Hogan ordered George to stay out because Hogan felt this might be a personal matter.

Kevin invited Hogan to sit down with Hogan's favorite coffee already served on the table. After the small greeting Kevin looked a bit hesitant to speak.

"Is this about Lia?" Hogan asked.

"Yes, basically yes."

"What is this about?" ask Hogan.

"I'm sure Lia told you about her past right? The story where she was kidnapped?" Hogan just nodded.

"He told me about it but just the basics, he was kidnapped by some fans right?" Hogan said and sipped a coffee.

"Well that's true, but the reason she studied so many martial arts was because she was kidnapped by someone who wanted to sell her as a slave***, but before they could do anything to her, it was before they could do anything to her, we managed to save him. Lia was traumatized by the incident, as she saw other children her age being raped right in front of her eyes. She was lucky because they planned to auction her off while she was a virgin."

Hogan was speechless, Hogan had never known someone as cheerful as he had gone through so much and so tragic.

Hogan felt sorry for his daughter.

"Sorry, I never know. But why are you saying this and now?" ask Hogan.

Kevin fixed his seat and leaned forward putting his hands on the table to be more serious.

"Sir Yong came to my office the other day with a proposal for LWebster to hold a slave auction***, he proposed his stupid plan to Abraham because I had another meeting. When Abraham told me about it, I didn't feel good because on the same day Lia was here and I was afraid if she saw it. People like him see Lia as a money maker and my guts are right he saw Lia here in my office because I asked Lia to work on some paperwork for me and the bastard came in when my secretary ask him to wait inside."

"Did he do something to Lia?" Hogan swore I would torture him to death but slowly.

"For the moment he doesn't do it."

"Whatchu mean? And why so suspect him?" ask Hogan

Kevin pointed his monitor at Hogan and let Hogan watch the CCTV he had hidden in his office. It was the day that Mr. Yong entered the room and Lia left and he called someone and I heard the whole conversation.

"We never knew who kidnapped her because Lia never saw their faces because her memory was affected with the traumatic experience so we didn't force her but from the conversation, I'm sure he was the one who kidnapped Lia earlier and it looks like he's planning again."

Kevin looks very worried about his sister and after hearing this it is not just him.

Hogan promised Kevin to always look after Lia and ensure her safety at all times and Hogan would look after Mr. Yong as well.

"I never asked you to use your power as the leader of the Mafia Lord but for Lia, he said, I'll ask you to use all your influence in the underworld to keep my baby safe from harm and please keep this away from her."

"You don't have to ask me, because I'm going to do it for my daughter. For your information, he is loved and respected by all my gang members. They will do anything to protect him. Rest assured."

"Thank you so much Hogan."

Hogan left the office and headed to his underground office. Hogan told George everything and we started making plans for Mr. Yong and for Lia's safety. Hogan needs to know it's on the other line, it looks like he's a buyer.

Hogan instructs his team to investigate Mr. Yong and his business, his relationship with the underworld and especially the person targeting his beloved daughter.

Hogan could only calm down if the Princess was always nearby or if he was with his brothers, Hogan had to persuade him to stay with her.
