Chapter 13

"He already knew about Lia." George entered Hogan's office and informed him of the news. He was not happy but not angry.

The Hogan mafia group is successful today because of Hogan's leadership and thoughtful thinking. For him, being a mafia does not mean not having a heart and fierce all the time.

Hogan has ears and eyes everywhere so he knows when people plan to attack and he will be ready even though he is always ready.

"His right hand he followed Alan saw them together and did a little research on him and their people have been following him ever since. They knew about the guards who were following Lia so they made sure not to be seen." George explained.

"Tell them to keep an eye on what their next move will be." George's phone rang signaling an email. He checked it immediately.

"They plan to kidnap Lia at her house. They'll be there in 30 minutes!"

(On the other side)

‘I was having lunch alone, it felt so quiet without Alan. He really has a speacial place in my heart. I miss him so much.’

‘Hogan...Good sweet guy, I miss him too, he's always sweet to me. I wonder if he has someone special in life. A nice guy like him, it's almost impossible to be single.’

‘Hogan will pick me up for dinner party at 6 so I have plenty of time to get ready. First, shower. I feel like a nice long warm bath with lavender essence.’

Lia cleaned her plate and put it in the sink and brought her hot chocolate drink in the room.

Suddenly Lia's doorbell rings and shouts 'delivery' from outside. So Lia rushed over to open the door.

As soon as the door opened, 3 people pushed Lia into the house and locked the door behind them.

Lia did not panic as they stood straight in front of Lia because Lia knew that they would try to talk to Lia to follow them without making a fuss.

"Follow us enough so you won't get hurt." Lia grinning.

"What do you want from me?" ask Lia.

"No questions, just ask, follow us calmly." one of the men spoke angrily.

"If you tell me the reason, then maybe I'll make it easy for you."

"That's because you're close to Hogan the Mafia Lord."

So, if it was the same Hogan that he was talking about, Lia wasn't too surprised.

“Okey, I'm coming with you.” Lia said casually as she walked past them and as Lia's shoulder passed through them, I held the neck of one of the men while strangling and kicking the other 2 to the ground.

After going up and down, struggling kicking and punching, Lia managed to faint the three people. It had been a long time since Lia had last practiced martial arts because Lia was busy.

Lia looked for a cable tie in the kitchen and tied their hands and feet.

There were 3 adult men in Lia's living room lying unconscious.

“What should. I do with them? I think I should cal..” Lia.

Suddenly, Hogan, George and his 2 men stormed into Lia's house.

"Lia are you okay? Where.." his words came to a halt as he saw the 3 men on the floor tied up.

"You have to come faster, 3 grown men against 1, so it's not cool. I was tired, I was sweating, I had dinner to get ready and now I want to take a long shower. My whole body hurts now! Please take care of this idiot!" said Lia.

With that explosion, Lia left them and headed to her bathroom. Lia filled her bathtub with warm water and threw a lavender bubble bomb into it.

It felt really good and my muscle aches felt a little better in the warm water. Lia did not know when but fell asleep in the bath and Hogan's heavy voice woke me up.

"Hey.. Princesses. Wake." Lia heard calling Lia princess...Princess?! Lia felt dizzy inside.

"sorry. I feel tired.. How long?" ask Lia.

"About 20 minutes. I wanted to ask if you wanted to come to my house and we could go to dinner from my place. I'll pick you up, right? Plus, she must be happy to see you." Hogan.

"Sure and sir, you have to explain a few things." Said Lia,

Hogan looked a little panicked but kept smiling.

‘I think that's a good idea. It was nice when he invited me to his home, his personal life. I feel my expectations are getting higher.’ In Lia's heart.

Lia gets all her makeup, clothes and shoes for dinner with a few change of clothes just in case.
