Season 2: Be thankful

Today is the day that Abel and his entire family look forward to, both father Rey, Alvin and mother Dina are next to Abel to accompany the girl to open the bandage covering the surgery.

They are very impatient and curious about how the results are, so take the time to go to Thailand to catch up with Abel there and leave work. Hoping that all of Abel's grief would disappear along with the wounds he suffered.

The doctor had been there, preparing with all sorts of equipment needed to open the Abel bandage. The girl closed her eyes feeling how the bandage began to detach one by one from her body.

"If someone feels sick saying yes? ". The doctor said as he began to disarm the bandage, and was assisted by one of the nurses there.

"Yes doc". He replied, still closing his eyes, not daring to see anything before Abel felt that his bandage had disappeared from his body. Closing his eyes was Abel's own desire because he could not see the look on his family's anxious face.

Until he felt if his body felt more loose and more freely moved because the bandage that had always covered his body made his movements limited now disappeared.

"It's over you can open your eyes, don't get too tense". The doctor said interspersed with jokes because he felt that Abel was too excessive because the burning body was not his eyes, so there should be no need to close his eyes.

The nurse prepared a mirror for Abel, knowing that the patient would want to see how the surgery was done. And with the growing fear of making his palms feel cold, he tried to open his eyes and try to accept reality no matter what.

Abel's response was different from the estimates of his entire family, they thought if Abel would be happy or embrace one of them. But in fact Abel even cried with sobbing.

"Hiks hyks". Abel's tears melted down his cheeks, but his eyes did not turn from the mirror, he felt his new face and closed his eyes for a while and opened his eyes again. Trying to convince her that the reflection in the mirror is her.

"What is crying about ?". Mama Dina was confused as to how, even though Abel's face had returned to how it was, then what the girl was sad.

"My face is back again ma, pa, brother". Abel did cry but he cried because he felt that his broken face felt so long ago and now his face was back to normal. Abel was so grateful that he even cried.

"Yes, your face is back". Mama Dina approached and hugged Abel, she could feel the happiness that her daughter felt because she also felt happy and relieved, finally the pain of the Princess has now disappeared.

There is only one less person that is Excel, if Excel is there maybe Abel's happiness will be very complete. But Abel understands that Excel has its own difficulties, even Abel should lighten the burden of Excel, but now even the distance between the two is very far. Excel is in the US while Abel is in Thailand.

They all went to the International airport and passed a flight that was not too long because the distance between Thailand and Indonesia was not too far. Even so, their bodies feel tired, maybe because of the effects of jetlag or too long sitting on the plane.

They get out of the taxi that has been driven to the house because if you ask for a pick up that will wait a long time. Abel felt very excited to see the towering building from the taxi window.
