The Chap 30

After she finished talking to Baekhwa, Karina returned to the hospital. They still talk lightly, sometimes there is also laughter from Karina. They parted ways, Karina headed for Daejung's room while Baekhwa walked towards her division room.

"Chunghee-ah annyeoung" Karina said as she walked into Daejung's room

"Where have you been? Why so long? I'm worried, I'm afraid something's happened to you" Chunghee said

The man was worried, after the accident that happened to Daejung, the man was haunted by misgivings. She was afraid something might happen to Karina

Karina smiled at Chunghee's worries, the girl smiled and returned the man's embrace

Chunghee took off her arms to Karina, the man then led Karina to sit on the sofa.

"You've been eating?" Ask Chunhee

"Em, have you eaten yourself?" Ask Karina

"I haven't had time to eat. I'm waiting for you" Chunghee replied

"Yeah! Why haven't you had dinner yet, Eoh? How about you get sick, you always scold me when I'm late for a meal. But now you're ignoring your mealtime" Karina protested

"Yeah, why are you mad at me eoh. I'm late for eating because I'm waiting for you. And again, why did you just come back? How many servings of tteokbokki do you eat eoh" asked Chunghee

Karina's eyes puffed up at Chunghee's words, the girl sneered and glared at the man next to her

"Yeah! What kind of question is eoh. Ck of course I ate one portion, just now while in the lobby I met Baekhwa, and the man asked me to talk to him" explained Karina

"Baekhwa? You met her? What'd he say? Is he apologizing again?" Chunghee asked curiously

"Em, he's apologizing again" Karina replied

"Then do you forgive him? Tell me everything" Chunghee said

"I was originally going to meet her but. I remembered what you said to me a while ago, I had to try. Trying to forgive Baekhwa, and after I did, my heart felt more relieved, like the thing that had been weighing me up just like that. We decided to try to make peace with the past, and started our relationship as a friend" Karina explained

"Chukae, you've managed to defeat one of your egos, I'm proud of you. I'm sure Daejung must be very proud of you too" Chunghee said

Hearing the name Daejung mentioned, Karina turned to Daejung who was still lying on the bed, the girl stood up and approached Daejung. As well as Chunghee, the man stood up and caught up with Karina. The girl sat on the chair beside Daejung's bed. Karina held up one of Daejung's hands and she pointed it at her head, she moved the man's hand as if Daejung was rubbing his head, then she held the hand wrapped in the infusion hose

"Daejung-ah, I've done it. I've forgiven Baekhwa, don't you want to tell me something? Daejung-ah.irreona, nan bogoshipo.." said Karina with a cry at the end of her sentence. He really misses Daejung

Chunghee's heart was heartbroken to see and hear Karina like this, the girl must have missed Daejung so much. He rubbed Karina's shoulders, the man crouched down on one of her legs to be able to line Karina's high fingers sitting on the chair. He held Karina's free hand, then gently swiped

"Karina-ya uljima, I'm sure Daejung will not like seeing you cry like this. You don't remember, even though Daejung's eyes were closed, but she can still hear what we're talking about. So please don't cry Karina-ya" Chunghee said

"I miss him Chunghee-ah. Why would you do this to me? Is he mad at me because I've been living in him for a year? Daejung-ah.irreona, if you're mad at me, you can scold me as usual, you can confiscate all my ice cream, you can also confiscate all my soju, you can do everything. But I beg you not to punish me like this, do not leave me Daejung-ah" said the girl with a cry that sounded so bitter

Chunghee hugged Karina, the man rubbed Karina's back. He piles his chin on Karina's head

Karina grew sobbing in Chunghee's arms, she hugged the man's waist with one hand idle, while the other hand she used to hold Daejung's hand. They continued to be in such a position until there was no more sounding of the girl.

Chunghee tried to take off Karina's embrace, her heart felt like it had been scratched by an invisible knife, when again she saw Karina's embossed face. The girl fell asleep in her arms holding Daejung's hands. Chunghee let out a heavy sigh, then she warmed up Karina's body for her to move on the sofa, the man then covered Karina's body to the neck. After that he went back to the bed Daejung and sat in the chair that Karina was sitting in

"Daejung-ah, wake up. Can you let our little girl continue to grieve like that? Daejung-ah open your eyes, I don't want you to regret it, because when you realize later Karina might already be in my arms. Daejung-ah, can I love her? Can we love the same girl? The girl we want to always protect and take care of" Chunghee said between the silence of Daejung's room

After saying that, chunghee walked over to exit Daejung's room. Before actually coming out she walked up to Karina once more, she observed Karina's calm face slumbering, she rubbed Karina's hair

"Karina-ya's Valley"

After saying that, Chunghee completely walked out of the room and started her night shift. Tonight she will replace Karina's duty, she will look for reasons so that Karina can rest and not get anger from Kang gyosungnim.
