Chap 27's
Karina and Chunghee had just finished examining the patient, they were sitting together in the room. Tonight they got a night watch schedule together.
In that silence, Karina suddenly remembered something. The girl kept her phone and looked at Chunghee who was still cool with her phone
"Chunghee-ah" call Karina
Chunghee turned to Karina, the man then put his phone on the table
"Wae?" Answer Chunghee
"Did.... something happen to your relationship and Mijin?" Karina asked cautiously
"Our relationship is over" Chunghee replied
"ye? How come?" Karina was shocked to hear Chunghee's reply. The girl then brought her seat closer to Chunghe
"What's how? Yeah, well, me and Mijin broke up" Chunghee said
"I mean how did you guys break up? All this time, your relationship has been fine. Then why did you suddenly break up?" Ask Karina
Chunghee let out a heavy sigh
"Mijin was betrothed to the son of one of his father's friends" Chunghee replied
"Mwo? Why are you keeping quiet? Yak Chunhee-ah if you love her you should be able to keep her. Not even going to the bar to get drunk like that. Aish you are" Karina told her emotions
"I really love him. But how else, I can't do anything anymore now, they're getting married tomorrow. I wanted to go there and prevent the wedding. But if I do that, what about Mijin and his family. I do love him but I can't be selfish either and make him an ungodly child, nor do I want to make trouble for the Mijin family just because of our selfishness. Karina's eyes glazed over hearing Chunghee's freshness. He did not expect that his best friend could think that mature, the girl stood up and hugged Chunghee's body. At first Chunghee was surprised by Karina's actions but afterwards the man stood up and returned Karina's embrace
"Chunghee-ah. I am proud of you, I will pray to God that He will give you a good girl as well" Karina said in her tears
Chunghee smiled, then she rubbed Karina's back
"Gomawo Karina-ya" the answer
'Fuck feeling' umpat Chunghee in heart. The man cussed himself after his chest came back pounding while hugging Karina like this
Karina's cell phone rings, making Karina and Chunghee's embrace come off. With Karina still taking her phone, the girl rubbed the remaining tears on her cheeks. After feeling her breath return to normal Karina picked up the phone call
"Ye-yeobseyo Daejung-ah" said Karina
"Wae's? Why are you crying Karina? Did anyone hurt you? Tell Karina why are you crying?" Ask Daejung in a row
"I'm-I'm crying because of Chunghee, in-he just broke up with Mijin" explained Karina with her voice that was still the typical raucous person crying
"Yes?" Ask Daejung
Chunghee rolled her lazy eyeballs, hearing Karina complain to Daejung
"Karina turn on the camera I'll switch to a video call" said Daejung
Karina nodded even though Daejung could not see her. Afterwards the girl receives a video call from Daejung. The girl then put her phone on the table, the girl propped her phone up with the bottle there
"Chunghee-ah eoddiga?" Ask Daejung when he did not find his best friend was not there
"I'm here. I don't want to be around Karina, you know that if she cries she will definitely make our clothes as her snot" Chunghee replied
"Yes!" Karina Screeches
Daejung chuckled across there.
Chunghee had been the tongue-tie for him and Karina. When Karina ignores him, it is Chunghee who will give Daejung information about what Karina is doing. "How did your relationship end?" Ask Daejung

I don't want him to be dissolved in that painful past" Chunghee said, approaching and sitting next to Karina
"Right what Chunghee said, you have to forgive her, and again it will be up to when you get stuck with Karina's past. If you can't forgive her yet, you can try it from a little Karina. Daejung and Chunghee smiled

"Ah Daejung-ah, are you going home tomorrow?" Ask Chunhee
"of course. I can't wait to go home, I miss my hometown so much" Daejung replied
"I'm sure your return is not because you miss your hometown, you must miss this annoying girl right. Look, Daejung, every day Karina is always moody, she says she misses you so much" Chunghee said
"Yeah! You're embarrassing me" Karina choked. The girl hit Chunghee's arm

"Aish basic sucks. Ah Daejung what time will you arrive?" Karina asked after she finished venting her frustration at Chunghee
"I got a noon flight, so maybe around two o'clock I got there" Daejung explained
Karina's face turned moody hearing Daejung's reply
"Wae's? Why is your face so moody?" Ask Daejung
"I can't pick you up at the airport. Tomorrow me and Chunghee get a day shift" Karina said
"Gweanchana, I can go home by myself. After the airport, I'll meet you right away. We're eating with Eotte?" Persuade Daejung to Karina
"No need to force yourself, Daejung-ah, you must be tired. Rest, tomorrow after our shift is over, we will come to you. We'll have dinner together" Chunghee replied
"That's what Chunghee said, we're the ones coming to your apartment, we can have dinner together" Karina said

"Daejung said where he's been?" Ask Chunhee
"So he said he was at the airport, and he said he was on his way here" Karina replied

Karina chuckled, and after that there was a small chat between them during the trip to their division room.
Just now they were sitting in his room, suddenly the door was opened a little rough to make the two people jump in shock

"You're fast to the IGD, soon the accident patient will come. Palli!" Mina's orders

Fifteen minutes later some of the patients they were waiting for came, the atmosphere of the IGD that had been quiet turned into a rowdy when some patients entered the room
"We've had CPR, but there's still no response from the patient!" Said one of the doctors who handled it
Karina, who had been waiting for the patient, had her heart pounded so fast, her chest was hit by a hammer so big, it hurt so much after seeing who the patient was. Even the floor he was treading on was like it collapsed instantly
"Daejung-ah" he murmured
