Chap 23's

Karina moved violently on her bed. After her conversation with Chinsun this afternoon, the girl kept thinking about how to start a conversation with Daejung. He types a message on Daejung, then he deletes it again out of doubt. And he kept doing it, the girl sat up when she heard the door of her room open

"Eonni.." said Karina as soon as she saw Chinsun enter her room.

"You haven't slept, honey?" Chinsun asked softly, the woman walked towards Karina's bed and sat down at the bedside

"I haven't been sleepy Eonni. Eonni himself why hasn't he slept?" Ask Karina

"Eonni came out to get a drink, but before that Eonni came here to see if you were asleep or not. Daejung says that sometimes you have trouble sleeping, and it turns out to be true. Is there something you're thinking about Karina-ya?" Chinsun asked with the hand she extended to gently caress Karina's hair

Karina looked down, the girl smiled then. Daejung memorized his habits. He remembered the man always made him herbal tea so he could sleep soundly. Suddenly guilt came to his heart, and he was truly sorry, for almost a year he had been indifferent to the man.

"Karina-ya Gwaenchana?" Ask Chinsun

"Eoh nan Gwaenchana" Karina replied with a smile

"So why haven't you slept? Are you still thinking about what we were talking about this afternoon?" Ask Chinsun again

"Ne Eonni, I'm still confused on how to contact Daejung. I mean, what should I tell him. I'm really scared of Eonni. Honestly I feel guilty for her Eonni, what if she doesn't return my message, and she ignores my message Eonni" Karina said

Chinsun smiled, then he grabbed Karina's hand

"Why are you afraid, baby? Daejung won't be mad at you, nor can she ignore your message, you know it's not that all this time it's just a message from you that she's always waiting for. And as for your guilt, Eonni believes Daejung understands it, she must understand what you're feeling. So why don't you just start by saying hello?" Chinsun

Hearing the words, a smile rose from Karina's lips

"You're right Eonni, Daejung will definitely understand me. Now all I have to do is try and start over" Karina said with confidence

"Good then, now send him a message, before he waits any longer" Chinsun said

Karina nodded, Chinsun chuckled at Karina's behavior. The woman stood up and raised a kiss on Karina's head. He then exited Karina's room.

After Chinsun died, Karina grabbed her phone on the nightstand, the girl then typed a message on Daejung

To: My Beloved Daejung

Daewoo-ah... Annyoung

After the message was sent Karina threw her phone, the girl then covered her body with a blanket. Her chest was pounding so fast, she was so nervous waiting for a reply from Daejung

Meanwhile, elsewhere at about the same time, Daejung is still struggling with his files. Since his relationship with Karina stretched, the man preferred to concern himself with his office files, it was done to expel the shadow of Karina from his mind. Honestly, he missed that girl a lot.

Daejung put down the file that she had been reading a while ago, her head throbbing painfully paying attention to all the reports she had to check. The man loosened his tie, it seemed to strangle him. He closed his eyes and pinched the base of his nose, he missed Karina, wanted to feel like he was back in Korea, approached the girl and hugged her tightly. But what power, the girl he missed was silencing him, even until the time of one year passed.

Daejung straightened her back, then she grabbed a photo of herself and Karina on the table. The man wiped the photo, his memory was thrown back when he and Karina took the photo. The photo was taken while they were away together in Paris. It was Karina's birthday, and the girl asked Daejung to go with her to Paris as her gift. And of course Daejung greeted him, in the photo they took a picture in front of the Eiffel tower, Karina's face looks so happy in the photo

"Karina-ya nan bogoshipo" said Daejung

Ddddrr......

His phone is shaking, a sign of a message coming in. With a little laziness the man opened the message, without seeing first who the sender of the message. Then when he read the contents of the message, Daejung's eyes rounded. She could not believe what she was seeing, Karina sent her a message, the man stood up from his seat and then again she read the contents of the message, the man pinched his arm, the man, then he screamed because he felt pain. The man smiled and sat down and replied to Karina's message

To: Bee

Karina-ya.. w-Is this really you?

Karina rushed to pull her blanket over as soon as a message came in, she opened the message immediately. The girl ripped off annoyedly reading Daejung's message

You reckon? Ah... did you forget me? Or maybe you deleted my number Eoh?"

Daejung chuckles to read a reply from Karina, the girl has not changed as it turns out

To: Bee

Where I may forget you, you know even in sleep only you remember me. Karina-ya I miss you so much, naughty girl

Karina screeched reading the answer from Daejung

To: My Beloved Daejung

Ck, sucker. If you miss you, you should go home and see me. Or do you feel at home living there eoh? because from what I heard, the girls there are beautiful and they also have a nice body

Daejung chuckles at reading a message from Karina. She was sure it was Chunghee who said that to Karina

Who told you that?

True not her guess, it must have been Chunghee who said such things to Karina

To me you are the most beautiful girl. You know I really want to go back to Korea. I miss my hometown, I miss the Han River, I miss my apartment, Chunghee. But I can't do that because you're the one who's occupying me

Reading the reply of the message from Daejung, Karina's heart felt like it was pinned, she felt it had been too much to Daejung. Though the man is innocent, Daejung only loves Karina. And it's natural is not, especially so far they often spend time together, so it's natural that it grows in the heart of Daejung

Daejung-ah Mianhe, all this time I've been outrageous to you. I shouldn't have acted that way to you. I should have been more mature in dealing with it, I shouldn't have to be angry with you just because of it. Loving is not a mistake, I should be grateful to be loved by a man like you. Daejung - ah Mianhe

Reading the message from Karina, Daejung smiled. The man was happy because Karina was already able to realize everything, although she was sure that the girl had not received it one hundred percent yet. But at least he can still go back with Karina

Karina smiled in her tears, now the girl was really grateful because God had so kindly sent a man as good as Daejung for her.

Their conversation continued until Karina fell asleep because the girl felt tired after a long day of work
