LUCAS

"Lucas, how is Allura? Is he awake?" Felicia who had just entered the apartment asked me.

I was lying on the couch from last night watching television looking towards the main door of the apartment. It looks like Felicia who is wearing a black mini dress is taking off her high heels with her body bent towards me. I was stunned for a moment to see some parts of his body that I shouldn't have seen. Then I immediately turned my face the other way and said, "Are there no other clothes you can wear when you leave the house, Felicia?"

"Of course there is. I have a lot of clothes to wear."

"If you have a lot of clothes, why are you wearing such clothes?" I asked without looking back at him.

Stepping towards me after taking off her high heels, Felicia turned around asking, "What do you mean, Lucas? I don't think it's wrong if I wear this dress when I get out of the house."

"That's you think. I think that your clothes are very inappropriate to wear out let alone meet a lot of people. That's too sexy."

"It doesn't matter, because I just wore it on Robert's birthday. I don't wear it at formal events where I have to wear more polite, introverted clothes. This is my coolest party dress. Robert liked it a lot."

"Hmmm... Really man..."

Not finished I said, Felicia who was just sitting next to me picked up a pillow that was nearby. He hit me with the pillow several times while shouting, "What do you say? Do you want to mock my Robert lover?"

"No. That's not what I mean."

"Then?" Felicia screamed back while continuing to beat me.

I who was fending off her pillow beat mistakenly knew my hand replied, "Stop beating me. Your punches and shouts will wake up Allura who is sleeping soundly."

Instantly Felicia stopped her movements after hearing my words. Then he fixed his sitting position and asked in a low voice, "Lucas, how is he doing? Is he okay?"

I was silent for a moment while getting up from the bed. Then I moved to cover Felicia's body with a blanket that from last night wrapped my body. After I confirmed that her body was covered with a blanket, I, who was sitting next to her, replied, "She's fine, Felicia. When we met at the airport, he cried for a long time without saying anything. I asked him why he was crying, but he didn't answer. After we got to this apartment, he said nothing but thank me for picking him up. Do you think he's okay?"

"Why are you asking like that?"

"of course. Because you are his friend. Do you think there's anything strange about him?"

"Yes. He looked gloomy with his chaotic appearance. Didn't we know him all this time? He always looks elegant and very charming. But after coming home from abroad, he was like someone who was in a deep depression."

Felicia was stunned for a moment and looked at me with her eyes bulging. With a curious face he asked, "Really?"

"Yes. I can't possibly lie to you. I'm just saying what I saw when I picked her up and as long as you weren't here. Do you know what happened to him?"

Felicia took a deep breath and replied, "I don't know for sure, Lucas. But from his voice when he contacted me at that time, he seemed to be having problems or difficulties. After I nodded my head, Felicia and I kept quiet for a long time. We both turned to the bed where Allura Gibson was lying and dissolved in our thoughts. Felicia, who was sitting next to me, asked, "Has Allura eaten, Lucas?"

"I don't know."

"How could you not know? Wasn't she with you from last night?"

With an indifferent face I replied, "Yes, he is with me. But I didn't see him eating or drinking anything. After we got to the apartment, he who looked tired immediately fell asleep on the sofa. And I moved him to bed after he fell asleep."

Instantly Felicia frowned as she looked at me who was sitting next to her. With a suspicious face he asked, "Have you done anything to him?"

"No." I replied in a higher tone.

"Are you sure? I know you're a female villain with lovers everywhere. I felt suspicious that you had done something to Allura while she was asleep. Were you not very interested in him? You've even been arrested for your perverted thoughts and actions."

I spontaneously tapped Felicia on the forehead with one of my index fingers. Then with a feeling of annoyance I replied, "Yes, I do have as many women out there as you say. I was also interested in him from then until now. But that doesn't mean I don't think before I act. How could I harm a pregnant woman? After all he had married, it was very uninteresting. Why did he come home from Bhutan in such a sad state? Why isn't there a positive Albert Ma next to him? Are they fighting? Is it possible that he is no longer with Albert Ma? If they are no longer husband and wife, how is the pregnancy? Who's the father of the baby in his arms?

As I stared at the television screen without winking and dissolved into my own mind, I suddenly heard a voice from the direction of the bed not far from my current position, "Aaaakh... Why does my head hurt so much?"

I spontaneously turned to the bed. Allura Gibson is moving slowly from the bed. Makes me who saw him immediately stand up and step towards him. When I was next to her, I helped her to sit well on the bed and said, "Allura, be careful. If you still feel unwell, just lie down."

"No, Lucas. I feel like I've been asleep for a long time." Allura Gibson replied while holding her head.

"Yes. My head hurts a lot, Lucas."

"Do I need to call a doctor for you? Or I'll get you some headache medicine."

Allura Gibson shook her head slowly as she replied, "No need, Lucas. I have my own medicine that I brought from Thimphu. Can you help me get it out of my bag?"

"OKAY. I'll get it for you. Where did you put your medicine, Allura?" I asked again as I walked over to the pile of bags in the corner of the room.

"In my black handbag. I keep my drugs there."

"All right."

I immediately searched for Allura Gibson's medicine in her black bag. After I found her, I walked up to her again and said, "Allura, why is there so much medicine in your bag? Do you want to drink all of them at once?"

"Of course not, Lucas. I asked the pharmacy to give me more medicine and vitamins so I wouldn't go back and forth to the hospital often. The hospital is far from where I live. So I have to wait for Joshua to drive me to the hospital." He answered while receiving a bag of medicine that I gave him.

I didn't have a chance to make a sound, Felicia suddenly came out of the bathroom and walked towards us asking, "Joshua? Is that Joshua you're referring to a close friend of your husband's? Do you live in Bhutan with him on one roof?"

Allura Gibson turned his head towards Felicia who had been standing beside him. Then he replied, "Yes, in Bhutan I live with Joshua."

"Are you crazy, Allura? Did you start an affair until Albert got mad at you? Did you escape to Bhutan with Joshua?" Felicia asked in a higher tone as an expression of her shock.

Allura Gibson shook her head as she replied, "Jang thinks badly like that, Felicia. Do I look like someone who cheats?"

"A-a-I didn't mean to accuse you. I just felt surprised by your answer. I don't expect you to go to Bhutan with Joshua. Do you have a special relationship with him?" Felcia asked with a curious face.

"No. I have no special relationship with Joshua other than the sahabta. Didn't you know that he helped me a lot during Albert's coma?"

"Yes, I know."

"A few months ago I had a big fight with Albert. Some words that were so painful I could not accept. So I decided to leave the house without her knowledge. At that time I didn't know where I was going. The quarrel with my husband and the disappearance of Adrian left me so devastated that I left without knowing the direction. I met Joshua at the airport by accident. I told him quite a lot. Then I decided to go with him to Bhutan to get away from Albert."

"Why did you do that? Don't you remember your family?"

"Of course I remember. But if I go home, it will make my family very worried. I don't want to burden my family with my household problems. So I chose to go."

Felicia took a deep breath and threw it away violently then said, "Huffft... You really make me dizzy. Your problems are always complicated and difficult to help. Then what about your son? Has he been found? Does Albert know that you went with Joshua?"

"I don't know if Adrian has been found yet. Joshua finally told me that Adrian has not been found. I don't know where he went. Because when I lost him, he was swimming by the shore of Siloso."

I was silent for quite a while hearing the talk of Allura Gibson and Felicia who were near me. Some of the questions I had in mind left me powerless to ask, "I'm sorry if I cut you off. But there are some things that really bother my mind."

"I don't know, Lucas. Because I asked Joshua to keep my whereabouts a secret. I also shut down all the access that could make him find me. Her hurtful words made me want to get away from her. The two brothers were silent to my words. And so was I who was sitting on the bed. The three of us kept quiet for quite a while, until I finally got back to saying, "Only the two of you know I'm here. Please, please keep my whereabouts a secret. And don't call me Allura anymore. I want to forget my past. Call me Lula. Because I changed my identity before going to Bhutan. I want to live a new life even without my closest family."

Felicia who was still standing by the bed hugged Allura Gibson from the side as she said, "Well. We'll keep everything a secret, Lula. I just want you to feel happy and comfortable. Your secret is safe in our hands."
