143. Eyes paid for eyes

Every soldier was indeed trained to survive in the midst of a life and death situation, just like now. The thought of only going to fight, live and die is what they want from being a soldier.

Forces that rely on technology are fighting forces with magic power, relying on courage in the chest, and determination to win. Nio hoped to win in the fight against Maslac, and achieve something he wanted to achieve after all this was over.

“Do you want to die? Then, what way do you want to die?”

Nio pressed the tip of his sword against Maslac's neck, then pressed it firmly until it pierced his neck. Blood flowed profusely as Nio pierced Maslac's neck, and made the male soldier lose his spirit. For a moment Maslac tried to get up, and stood up while holding Nio's sword. But he had already lost quite a lot of blood, and Nio thrust his sword at the vital area.

As Nio pulled out his sword from Maslac's neck, a splash of blood hit Nio's face and field uniform. Maslac then lay on the ground, with blood coming out of his neck like a fountain.

The cheers from all the soldiers sounded very loud after Nio defeated the enemy commander.

The hissing sounds of several objects flying in the air rang out on the battlefield, and a few seconds later dozens of the Alliance soldier's bodies floated after being hit by the impact of the mortar explosion. The afternoon sky brightened, then turned dark as a horde of armored vehicles descended onto the battlefield. Each tank shell and automatic cannon fired shot at speeds of up to 3,000 meters per second, and rained down on enemy bodies with merciless shrapnel.

Rains of bullets hit the ranks of the Alliance's human warriors and monsters wearing sturdy metal armor, and had destroyed half of the Alliance's strength since the arrival of the relief forces.

Nio was silent for quite some time when he saw the huge explosion caused by the attack of the armored corps. He had never seen such a big attack in an operation, but he knew if it was a clean-up attack. As he fought between the life and death line, Nio only focused on the opponent in front of him. He could hear nothing but his voice, and he could see nothing but his enemy.

Nio's face was filled with fatigue and pain, but he didn't have the time to improve his appearance now. Enemies who had given up were stripped of their gear, including their metal armor, but did not let them be completely naked. Some of the Alliance soldiers who were taken captive wore underwear, some even only wore ****** *****.

Nio stated that this battle had been completed, but the battle had not really ended yet. Nio smiled obliquely after hearing the fact if Sheyn wanted to ‘give’ Kambana to Jo. She has to translate Sheyn's sentence for Jo to let her best friend know what she's saying. After Nio finished translating, Jo's face flushed slightly and made Nio hold back a laugh.

The soldiers in this place who did not know the meaning of Sheyn's words were silent, and then cheered when someone translated Sheyn's words. Loud sounds of cheers filled this tent, and left the people outside shocked.
