Chapter III Chapter 98

The people from the dragon race had come and gathered within an enormous hall. They were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their leader. After waiting for so long, the time finally came for them to leave the mountain range.

Their sparkling eyes and wide smiles and fiery spirit were very high. When they saw Kyrant and Malzar coming out of the side door towards a chair that had been prepared in front of everyone, all of a sudden was silent. The sound of a leg hit that sounded like a clockwork second made them turn their heads. Their eyes glanced at the woman who was walking gracefully towards her throne chair.

The eyes of the dragon race that seemed to be accompanying the steps of the woman stopped when they saw the woman sitting on her throne. Their shouting cheers suddenly echoed filled the room. So excited, even the giant pillars supporting the place seemed to tremble because of their voices.

Echidna smiled cynically at the sight of her people. He imagined how devastated the land of men would be if they began to attack with full force.

Echidna raised one hand upwards and the boisterous glee of the dragon race vanished instantly.

"O my people!" Echidna cried out in a loud voice.

Echidna stared inside his people. "I've kept you waiting." Echidna leaned her body, placed one of her arms on the side of the chair and propped one of her cheeks up. He was silent for a moment while closing his eyes.

Everyone present at the place was silent as well. None of those who moved also made a sound. So quiet that even the sound of breathing could be heard in that silence.

When the eyes of the woman before them opened both of her eyelids and showed beautiful, bright eyes like beautiful ruby crystals under the moonlight, Echidna began her speech.

"Thousands of years ago I had accompanied the previous demon king that was the Demon King Typhoon. Then hundreds of years ago after our defeat because the ancient hero was so powerful. I chose to seclude myself to restore my powers that were almost destroyed by it. But! Hundreds of years passed and I did nothing. That hero! That si*lan hero dared to come and attack me secretly!"

His gaze became turbulent with anger, Echidna rose from her seat. He flicked his arm to the side. "Two heroes I've faced, even if I lose but they'll never be able to kill me. Me! Listening to that fiery speech, the dragons with their humanoid bodies cheered, shouted and jumped in joy. Echidna had raised their spirits, Echidna had kindled the fire in their souls and was ready to raise his war flag. The war between the strongest races against the humans, could it still be called a war or just a massacre?

Meanwhile, it was not far from the Drakelight Mountains. Alice darted through a cold blizzard that could even freeze one's body. If if her cultivation were still in the Earth Refining stage, Alice would definitely not be able to break through that blizzard.

"Alice! There! There's a big building out front." Excited Fee as he looked at an old giant door engraved on one of the mountain peaks.

"Have we arrived?" Fee jumps out of Alice's shadow.

Fee saw the big gate was a whole. "So big, do we have to destroy it?" Said Fee so lightly. If it is necessary, why not? For him to destroy the giant gate was quite easy with his perfect form. Fee was in the slightest no fear if he had to make a scene in the lair of the dragons. In his world, the dragon was not much different from a winged lizard in his eyes. Fee so haughty stepped forward. He glanced at the two golems while grinning widely and showing his fangs.

Alice just looked at him with wide eyes without a word. The color of the fur changed and the density at each end, the gaze and fangs became more ferocious. Fee howled with all her might. His voice was so loud on top of that mountain peak. He turned to Alice. Fee put on his face full of arrogance while smiling.

Looks like she needs a compliment, but this time she's really cool unlike Fee who's as cute and funny as ever.

Still silent, Alice gave two thumbs to Fee.

"...." - ".Fee did not understand the meaning of the two signals. "Does that mean I'm great?" Inner asked. "I feel that way." It was as if he was lifting both shoulders.

Then Fee looked back at his opponent. Their size has turned around. The two golems were a little shorter compared to Fee.

Back to Echidna. He felt a surge of energy from outside the building. The sound of such a huge explosion and the terrifying pressure of the aura stopped his speech.

"Some one's coming." Mumbled. He raised one arm and called out to someone by his side.

Kyrant immediately approached, he lowered his head. "We have guests, welcome them as best we can." Echidna said in a cold voice.
