Chapter 27: The Underground City (Mapely)

Julia went to a small underground city by passing through the railroad tracks as the entrance of the city. The requirement to enter the city is to know one of the residents of the small town so it should not be arbitrary people and only certain people.

Julia knew the informant because she was her childhood friend who was separated at the age of 10 due to the events of Ragnarok. A small, beautiful city with affordable facilities and technology that explains that the city is not an ordinary small town.

The small town is named Mapely with the average resident is a Gate Hunter who helps fight Ragnarok even though their name is not engraved. Their service of struggle was tightly shut by the World Government, which did not want to spread their name because the inhabitants of Mapely rejected the laws of the World Government.

The law made by the World Government is to increase the rights/degree of civilians so that the Gate Hunter who have the support of the Gate System will be increasingly bound by its regulations.

The Gate System strictly prohibits Gate Hunters from injuring humans, so there are many cases where World Government regulations make civilians at will to Gate Hunter.

Then the Gate Hunters who did not accept the regulation began to form a community that would defy the rules of the World Government and the Gate Hunter was partly a resident of Mapely.

Julia has entered the city of Mapely with a face fascinated to see the beauty of the city because there is a large tree in the middle of the small city. The tree gives off oxygen, water droplets and sunlight which makes it a tree of life for the inhabitants of Mapely.

With a small map he got from his childhood friend made him browse through some parts of Mapely City. Residents there are very friendly to visitors who are received in even seen that their food supply is very abundant because the big tree gives a seed.

The seeds that become plants, the distinctive aroma that provokes small monsters that can feed meat and the flow of water that comes out of the roots of the tree when cut. According to Julia this is a great miracle for the time after the sealing of Ragnarok if only the World Government knew this would be a massive war to seize the tree.

Julia finally got to the meeting point of a bar with a picture of a rabbit as the bar icon. When Julia entered suddenly the atmosphere became quiet with the customers staring sharply at her and then came Julia's friend who immediately turned the atmosphere into a crowded again.

A glass of beer was thrown on the table to make a loud noise when Julia was immediately received by other customers.

"A long time no see, Julia!" said the figure of a pretty girl with short blonde hair wearing a barmaid dress

"I'm sorry I just keep sending letters, Laila!" julia said with a gentle smile when she saw her friend was fine

The bar manager saw Julia who made him instantly understand the purpose of her arrival. The manager immediately intervened to serve customers and give time off for Laila but her seremnya face made the atmosphere tense for her customers.

(Manager wife is very beautiful which makes customers feel at home)

Laila and Julia were in the waiter's dugout.

"Thank God we can meet from a long time apart so do you have a lover?" laila asked as she gave him a drink

"I assume it's yes!" laila said with an annoyed face

"That's not true so forget it!" yelled Julia with a panicked face

Things become like a tea party with Laila who is still upset by Julia's actions. To make the atmosphere return like their childhood, Julia tells the figure of her mother who immediately made Laila remember her condition at that time.

"If only my mother could see you, she would be so happy, after all, you're like my brother!" julia said with a soft and sad smile

Laila only had one family, her sister when she was a child, Laila meets Julia who is a child with needs that are always met while Laila is just resilience and hard work to be able to meet their needs both.

His sister worked as a waitress at Julia's house so that the two of them who did not have shelter began to be accepted by Julia's family. The two of them always play together, school together and shower together so that all the maids and Julia's parents have considered Laila as Julia's sister.

Until the appearance of monsters through the portal or gate immediately destroyed the mansion and all its servants. Laila's sister fights to protect Julia's parents but is limited to an ordinary human who makes her unable to protect her employer.

Julia cried when she found out that both her parents died from the monster incident immediately made Brother Laila feel guilty. To keep her master's son safe and secure, Laila's sister struggles to take Julia to her uncle's family

At the age of 10, Julia and Laila separated due to the non-acceptance of both of them by her uncle's family. The breakup caused a sense of loneliness and sadness for Julia that made her close herself and the aunt who loved Julia tried to comfort the child.

Giving a silver gun made from the ashes of both parents although it sounds terrible for a small child to receive the object instantly when Julia touches both silver pistols it makes him remember the memory with both his parents.

Julia begins to rise again when she gets a letter from Laila telling her that she is fine because her brother continues to protect her to where Julia gets recognition from the Gate System which instantly makes her a Gate Hunter even his achievements continued to grow until he became the Guild Leader of Japan.

"I will never forget their love for me!" laila said in tears as she remembered Julia's parents

The atmosphere became filled with sadness until the sound of footsteps that were so large began to approach the break room and the door opened violently making a blow to the wall, the figure of the man with the same hair as his sister immediately cried to see Julia.

"Julia-samaa!" her sister Laila cried

"Sister Felix don't slam the door like that later the manager." said Laila with a panicked face saw her manager staring intently at her brother.

Felix looked back then he got the punishment from the manager at once the joy of Julia seeing the two of them doing well made him feel calm.

"Thank God you never change!" julia said with a happy smile
