Chapter 20: The Battle

The fight against Ragnarok is a fight without rest for the humans. The entire Gate Hunter struggled with all their bodies and was even willing to sacrifice their lives for the peace of the world. During the fight against Ragnarok, there were four front row leaders who were able to survive in front of Ragnarok even though at that time the Owl was not known.

The four front row leaders were Grandpa Chen Lin who was skilled in physical strength despite his age but with the help of the abilities he had gained from the Gate System were able to make him as strong as a monster.

Henry, an expert in using the Artifacts he obtained while killing monsters. All the Artifacts in his hands will be the ultimate weapon to be used as an attack against Ragnarok.

Seila, an expert in using Magic wants it Magic Attack, Magic Support and Magic Defend, whatever he could do because his Mana had already reached the highest level despite not breaking the boundary but his Mana was already able to bring out various Magic in battle.

Furthermore a figure that was unknown to anyone but the three of them could figure out the strength from him. Owl is his nickname which is able to manipulate weapons into a deadly attack for all monsters, demons even Ragnarok level can be injured by his weapon.

"It sounds like we're both very strong, but it's just a rumor!" said Seila while stroking her child

Physical strength, Artifacts and Magic are only able to injure a bit of Ragnarok's body even though many times attacks continue to be launched. The damage given was not how sacrifices that occurred when they realized their strength was still not able to hurt Ragnarok but hope was still not lost.

The Hunter's Seal wouldn't work if Ragnarok wasn't exhausted, the attack you gave him didn't cause much damage but Ragnarok wasn't able to kill you back then and you should know, the power that every second Ragnarok expends requires stamina!" jack shouted in anger

"But we can't afford to hurt him!" shouted Henry

"I've said whether or not you can hurt it is about you being able to survive Ragnarok!" yell Jack

Jack and Henry had a fight and Seila finally realized that their actions during the fight were not in vain.

"You two stop!" yell Julia

Julia comes along to convince Henry and Seila that they're not cowards.

"What Jack said is correct. You are not cowards!" yelled Julia firmly

"It's enough that we don't have time anymore now that the choice is in your hands. Come fight Asmodeus and die as a warrior or stay here while waiting for an uncertain death so please choose!" said Jack

Henry did not answer the question but Seila also immediately upset her husband when his goal was to keep his family safe.

"Henry take care of our daughter!" seila said as she pulled Julia and Stella's hands out of the house

"You're upsetting me, Henry!" said Jack

Jack comes out of the house, leaving Henry with his daughter.

They had all gathered in one place that was not exposed to the reach of Asmodeus. The exterminator team consists of Jack, Julia, Park Hyeon, Stella, Seila, Grandpa Chen Lin and several Gate Hunter Rank A from Korea.

"Then I want to hear the plan to directly attack first!" said Park Hyeon

"We're going to strike out on the spur of the moment with Stella activating the Time zone stop maybe this sounds impossible but Stella is able to use the same abilities as Ragnarok so this is our advantage when the Time Zone stops already active, I want you to instantly unleash the strongest attack you have!" reply Jack

Seila did not believe that her student was able to use the ability that Ragnarok had even Park Hyeon was surprised to hear that ability.

"I'll try but this ability can only be used once so don't waste the opportunity I'll make later!" said Stella

"Good but this plan could lead us to have to kill the civilians who were hit by the Charm with our own hands. Asmodeus' death will not make the civilian population free because that plan to save the civilian population is we have to reverse the power of his Charm!" said Jack

"You mean by reversing Charm's power how?" ask Julia

"There's way. This is one of the abilities I have that is Hope!" said Park Hyeon

Hope is an ability that gives a hope to its user when a battle occurs but this ability can be active when the fight occurs for 2 hours and the user must touch the enemy's body. (KS Rank S)

"If our hope of saving the civilian population might be a solution, but it will take 2 hours to activate this ability and I will have to touch his body!" said Park Hyeon

"It's weird to hear that from a cocky kid like you!" said Julia
