Chapter 2: Choosing Both

After the practice of seeking the experience of killing Jack must now carry out revenge but all failed because Cero has been found to have saved the last Blue Eye Tribe so that he must get torture from fellow assassins although his body and mental injuries are still Cero did not tell Jack's location.

Jack sometimes stopped by to see Cero who was seriously injured when all of Cero's colleagues searched for Jack's whereabouts around the forest. Seeing the wounds on Cero's body made Jack remember with his whole tribe as soon as Jack's mental state began to change and this made Cero worried so much that he gave a wide but terrible smile.

"Don't do anything reckless!" ask Cero while looking intently at Jack

The sharp gaze immediately made him think clearly then Jack replied with a sharp gaze that made Cero calm again.

"How long do I have to wait?" ask Jack

"You'll have to wait another five years to be balanced against a grown man exactly when you're 15!" reply Cero

There were a lot of footsteps that led to the torture chamber and Jack had to leave Cero. They were all 10 people who were his comrades in Cero's murder and he currently had to shut up not to tell Jack's location.

The blows continued to land on the face and stomach until Cero vomited blood from a distance already making an outpouring of anger that came from Jack but he was reminded of the Number Command made by Cero to use when he was losing concentration.

"Government Number 3: Always obey the orders of superiors!" jack said, staring intently at his target

Jack immediately went into the forest to understand the entire terrain he was going to use to kill his entire target. Five years would he use to train his entire skill to the point of the ultimate blood until no one could surpass him anymore.

Five years have passed now Jack is 15 years old who is ready to solve everything. It seems that his appearance has changed a lot even though his goal has not changed, namely revenge. However, when it is ready suddenly there is an earthquake that is extraordinary powerful until a prototype like a door appears and then out a very creepy creature with fangs and a body that is like a human but green.

Jack immediately hid while eliminating his existence and two more portals appeared how surprised he saw a very large creature with wings out of the portal as soon as Jack knew that the creature was a dragon.

"What's going on?" jack was confused

One footstep from the dragon makes a tremor like an earthquake and this creature moves towards the headquarters of professional assassins who make Jack have to follow him but appear some monsters that resemble humans but with a body that it's like a corpse.

The analysis!

"Their number was as much as 20 and they all gave off an unpleasant smell likely this was the Undead or rather the walking undead!" muttered Jack while jumping into a tree branch

The appearance of the portal occurred at night coinciding with Jack's plan to avenge him now the moon is at its peak which resulted in the atmosphere of the forest became pitch black as soon as Jack's blue eyes began to shine in the darkness.

Jack took out the knife he had stored in his storage bag then quickly started slashing the bodies of the Undead but the attack did not impact any damage to them.

As expected Jack was likely only holy water and sunlight that could injure the Undead but he did not have both of those things even at this time the Undead started acting strangely with eyes turning red their light and movement are getting more violent and aggressive.

Fortunately, Jack was on a tree branch at the moment, but time kept going because the dragon was still heading towards the base. Jack did not want to waste his time because he kept thinking of ways to kill the Undead, he checked the storage bag that contained mineral water, sea salt, and so on, iron wire and a gun with five bullets in it.

"Holy water is obtained when ordinary water is prayed for but I am not a good religious believer and salt can also be holy salt if...I don't know how to get it, but salt can be holy." Jack murmured

Jack had one idea that mixing the two ingredients into salt water and then splash it into one of the Undead suddenly their bodies like drying to dust is now a powerful weapon to fight the Undead already Jack gets salt water.

"Successful with this I can kill them all!" muttered Jack while moving to flush the salt water

Suddenly, writing appeared in front of his eyes Jack that made him surprised to hit the tree trunk very hard and fortunately the Undead he had exterminated.

Breathing fire out of the dragon to burn the forest which resulted in Jack could not pass through by using all the mineral water he had to wet his body and Jack broke through the fire to reach the headquarters already crushed overtime by being stepped on by the dragon's foot.

It looks like the target is dead with a body shape that is difficult to explain but certainly his body has been crushed. Jack was worried about Cero's condition by how dare he enter through the legs of the dragon and he saw Cero's body being hit by a large stone.

Jack immediately panicked and tried to lift the boulder but the stone did not move until a cry came out of it when he saw Cero in a terrible state. The dragon continued to spout its fire throughout the forest until it burned other monsters that came out of the portal even the roar of the dragon made the entire forest into a storm.

Roaarr...

"Jack need not be sad, this is all the karma that I have certainly gained because I have killed many innocent people like your family. So, before I go there's something you have to choose even if revenge can't be done but life isn't always revenge to keep you going, there's still another goal!" said Cero in a dying state

Jack does not care about what happened in his past even he does not consider that Cero is the killer of his tribe but on the other hand Cero feels very sorry for killing Jack's tribe and family.

"Hold Cero I'll find something to save you!" yell Jack

"No need!" said Cero

Jack immediately knew that Cero's body had been completely destroyed by being hit by a large rock even though the stone was lifted still his life could not be saved, Cero said the last word before he died was to give Jack a choice.

"Freedom is now on your side so choose to live free or keep your revenge?" cero asked with a breath of breath

Jack was confused by the choice and Cero breathed his last by showing white eyes and his body did not feel warm anymore to make Jack's mentality instantly shattered. The dragon who was not aware of Jack's existence now began to feel it because Jack did not hide his existence again with a gaze full of anger looking at the dragon immediately gave fear to the monster.

"Free or revenge to the garbage collectors?" ask Jack to himself

Blue eyes began to emit a sharp gaze that made the dragon become alert, Jack took Cero's Sniper Barrett and focused on directing his shot right at the dragon's head.

Jack shot right at the eye that directly pierced the dragon's brain until his body fell to the ground. The forest is still burning because of the fire that the dragon released and Jack went from the forest to the city by riding a speed boat.
