Chapter 16: Crying, Regret and Fear

Hanji's death throws Tokyo into an uproar and his family cries hysterically when the little princess Hanji loves is in Jack's arms. No one knows that he is a murderer but Hanji's best friend immediately suspects Jack because of his assassin instinct.

Very neat pieces, murder at the right time and leave no trace. Obviously this was the work of an assassin who was trained just like him but their organization had already been destroyed and disbanded.

Ryujin immediately thought that this had something to do with Cero as soon as his eyes sharpened looking at Jack. Currently the family can only accept Hanji's death because in this new era, the death of Gate Hunter is another natural thing different if the Gate Hunter kills normal humans.

Gate Karma does not apply if Gate Hunter is killed by their fellow so there is nothing they can do anymore but only the World Government can help if the family reports it to immediately catch the perpetrator.

The cost to report this incident is not cheap because the family closed the Hanji murder case even though the rank status is not too low but the World Government only sees Rank S nothing else.

"Take care of yourself!" jack said as he stroked his daughter Hanji's head

Jack leaves Hanji's family behind and searches for Ryujin.

A house that is not so big but enough for both of them to live, Ryujin is now saying goodbye to her sister. From behind there are 10 Gate Hunter with Ryujin just in case Jack comes to him but deep down Ryujin somehow he is very sorry to think of Jack as his best friend.

His sister's whereabouts should not be known because he was afraid something would happen to him therefore the only way is to go to the forest area around Tokyo which is Ragnarok area. Ryujin lures Jack there so they can fight to the death without the need for a corpse to be found by someone.

"So don't come home for too long!" said his sister, pleading

Smiling restrained his fear.

"Remember the function of that shining necklace?" ryujin asked as she pointed her index finger at the necklace on her sister's neck

"This necklace contains a connecting stone between me and my brother if my necklace goes out which means brother is gone while the necklace that goes out is owned by brother means I have nothing to sound terrible but with this we can connect with each other." replied his little sister with an innocent smile

Ryujin hugged his sister tightly and the two of them separated. Their immediate destination is until nightfall, a forest that blooms without water or fertile soil only with dry land and Ragnarok air that still exists.

Ragnarok area still exists in all parts of the world even though Ragnarok has been defeated but the air and the area is still not lost because of that a lot of areas, cities or islands are abandoned.

Ryujin and his 10 Gate Hunter mercenaries were resting in a large tree canopy. Ryujin is still thinking about the motives of Jack's destination without taking a long time to suddenly air Jack's presence is already known by Ryujin.

"You get ready, he's coming!" ryujin said as he prepared to fight

"Ryujin still remember you with Cero?" yell Jack

Ryujin does not answer the question and tells all of his fellow mercenaries to keep an eye around and find Jack's location.

"Of course you know who Cero is a traitor and do you remember the Blue Eye Tribe you once slaughtered!" jack shouted in anger

Instantly Ryujin instantly discovers a fragment of Jack's motive leading to revenge and one of the Blue Eye Tribes that still survives is a disciple of Cero suddenly appearing a killing aura that they cannot see except Ryujin himself.

Ryujin instantly lost his mind seeing the killing aura so concentrated, he dropped the sword and prostrated himself...

Swossh...Splassh...

His eyes looked directly at Jack accompanied by a rain of blood from the ten heads of the Gate Hunter that had been cut off. The blue of the eyes illuminated the dark forest at that time Ryujin could only cry if he was going to leave his little sister.

"Jack if I hadn't made such a big sin could you have been my best friend?" ryujin asked in tears

"Of course, regrets are always behind. Ryujin.I will avenge this!" jack said with a sharp look

"They are still alive there are 15 people and one of them has a collector. Jack let my sister out of this sin!" ask Ryujin to be ready for his death

Ryujin's younger sister held tightly to her necklace and suddenly the light began to go out as soon as her heart was crushed overtime, her body limp and weep until it flooded her face. All the sins Ryujin committed he already knew, the serene purpose that Ryujin suddenly did already he knew but accepted it all destroyed him.
