Refal Following Alula

After lunch with Vira yesterday afternoon, Shenina's heart felt uneasy considering her relationship with Alula which was suddenly tenuous and without any communication.

Message after message that Shenina sent, just read by Alula without getting any reply. Wh why?

Why did Alula keep her distance? did Alula already know about her past story with Refaldy Bayutama then get disappointed because she was dishonest from the beginning about their relationship in the past? This morning, Shenina got word from Vira that Refal was on a week-long leave due to a private affair in Singapore. Mr. Indra through his assistant, asked Shenina and Vira to handle all the work of Refal. As for the meeting itself, Refal will do online from other countries.

Less than two hours into the air, Garuda Indonesia has landed perfectly in a small and developed country called Singapore.

By using an airport taxi, Refal headed straight to the apartment which was Alula's residence, a spoiled girl whose every request could never be denied.

The luxury clock that circled in the hands of Refal showed at 08.45 when Refal was already standing at the door of the apartment inhabited by Alula.

Refal continued to squeeze the bell beside the apartment door because the occupant did not immediately open the door. Refal was sure, Alula must still be asleep in her sweet dreams.

It has been almost 10 minutes since Refal stood at the door of Alula's apartment with Alula's cell phone number inactive. Truly, Alula's self-loathing manner was really testing the patience of Rebal.

"Refal, when did you get here, son?" Asked the middle-aged woman who suddenly appeared behind Refal.

"Aunt Sukma. I just got to 10 minutes ago." Call Refal who immediately greeted the graceful and classy woman before him.

Sukma, Alula's birth mother had to go back and forth between Indonesia and Singapore because Alula's grandmother, who is the mother of Sukma, was sick with cancer and was doing treatment in Singapore.

"Yes. Papa, you just called my mom and told her you were coming here. So Mama went straight back to the apartment because she was sure that Baby would still be sleeping." Answer Sukma while pressing a few numbers to open the apartment door.

"Let's go in Fal." Sukma gave the Refal.

"Yes Aunty..."

"Mama Fal. Call me mama." Sukma said with a friendly smile.

"I went straight to Baby's Aunt's room." Refal said again that was like not understanding Sukma's request to call him mama.

Sukma nodded.

"Build your sister... As long as he's here, he won't wake up before 11 p.m." Said Sukma again.

"Ready Aunt." Answer Refal.

"Your stubbornness is exactly the same as Indra's stubbornness... Same father the child turned out to be the same. It's the same as Baby." Sukma said with a thin smile staring at the wide back of Refal who disappeared behind a long closet that became a barrier between living room with other rooms.

Not for the first time Refal came to this luxury apartment. Luxury apartment in downtown Singapore and just a few meters from Elizabeth Hospital. Therefore, Refal did not need to ask again where Alula's room was located.

"Wooii wake woii.." Heartless, Refal shook Alula's body violently for the girl to wake up.

"Babyyyy!" Shouted Refal again.

"Wooii Babyy banguunn!" Said Rebal again.

"What a noise!" Alula changed position and then closed both ears so as not to hear a discordant sound that disturbed his deep sleep.

"Bebb bebeeeekk banguun!" Refal breathed. Waking Alula up was one of the hardest things in the world according to Refal.

"Babysheaven..." Refal ruffled Alula's hair with anxiety.

"Mas Refal did it here! Disturb people from sleeping." Alula grumbled with her eyes closed.

Refal let out a rough sigh then sat down on the edge of Alula's bed. Refal's brain thought hard to start talking to Shenina's middle Alula after yesterday's long chat with Gerald.

"Beb, I want to be honest with you." There was no response from Alula.

"She. actually, Shenina was my ex-boyfriend from college in Jogja, can't shift the slightest position of Shenina in my heart. I'm sorry if I let you down, Beb, sorry if I hurt Naura, your little friend." Refal rubbed Alula's hair.

"Mas Refal..." Alula immediately opened her teary eyes looking at Refal. Hearing Refal's honesty, Alula's heart warmed. Finally, Rehal was open to him.

Alula sat down beside Refal and hugged him tightly. Alula's sleepiness disappeared instantly.

"I already know you. I already know that Shenina was you... Even the reason I work in Adijaya is only to know and be close to Shenina. I told Shenina to work as your assistant so that you guys would be close again... A. I want to make up for my past folly, because of me, you have to leave Shenina and get engaged to Naura." Alula said with a sob.
