Staycations

It takes 2 hours drive from Jogja, Sedahan Beach offers the beauty that is worth it. Flanked by two sturdy coral cliffs, the place is similar to the gate for the arrival of the famous big waves in the sea ranks of the south coast. Including into one of the ‘pantiran’ beaches, its existence is not widely known by tourists so that the purity of water, environmental cleanliness, and air quality there is still guaranteed. Because it is still quiet, Sedahan Beach is often used as an escape destination for those who need peace. As Baskara and Sabiru now do.

At dawn, after spending the night crying in vain for returning to welcome guilt against Fabian, Baskara had the idea to go here. Awakening Blue who slept in the next room, the man then asked the lover to prepare as soon as they would leave to welcome the emergence of the morning sun from the east side. The heart only obeys. Still with drowsiness the woman snatched her thick jacket—because the dawn air is quite cold—lantas walked over to Baskara who had been standy on his motorbike. There's not much they bring. Only carry yourself, wallet and mobile as the main one.

The journey they went through while being sleepy brought them to a calmness that finally came after a long time. Together with the sound of the pounding waves that repeatedly hit the cliff, Baskara leaned his head on Sabiru's shoulder, letting the burden he carried slowly eroded along with the fierce waves.

“Thank you again.” Said Baskara with her eyes closed. The smell of sea salt touching the tip of his nose he did not let go deeper, because he preferred to sniff the chocolate aroma from Sabiru's body. It's strange, but the scent doesn't go away even though it's been through all night. Baskara was sure Blue was not spraying the new perfume, as they set out in a hurry.

“I think, all we need is something like this.” Blue replied. His gaze fell on the waves that were chasing from the middle of a wide stretch of sea, rolling at a constant speed until finally hit the cliff. The position of those who are close enough to the beach makes sea water often hit the feet, but since then, they have absolutely no intention to move from there. No matter if their hard-earned trousers roll to the extent of the knee is already partly wet.

“Yeah,” Baskara approves. The man then opened his eyes, also watching how the waves continue to crash into a solid rock cliff. Sometimes, he thought the waves were like him. Constantly running smashed himself against the wall of guilt that he hoped would be destroyed one day. Although tired, despite his fatigue, he hoped that his efforts would not end in vain. He wants to live like he used to, in order to love Sabiru better.

“If the word children today, healing let not be crazy.” Sabiru's moving body makes Baskara inevitably lift his head from the lover's shoulder. “Next time we go further, find a quieter beach so we can—“

“Making love?” chirps Baskara origin, while playing his eyebrows then chuckles lightly. “Gue did not know that you have a fantasy that far.”

Sabiru was clearly delinquent, while Baskara was just grinning at having managed to irritate her lover.

“But lo the content is only about making love doang, yes?” ask the woman with a sad look.

And like no sin at all, Baskara answered “Iya,” who was sad to make Sabiru exhale loudly in front of his face.

“I hate you so much.” Then Blue threw away her face, her lips muttering without a sound.

Seeing that, Baskara smiled faintly. “I know you’re not. So come here, cuz I wanna hug you.” Baskara said, then pulled Sabiru's body closer. Hugging her slender body tightly from the side, letting the changed woman's head rest on her shoulders which was not how strong.

“I don’t fxcking care about the ‘making love’ things, don’ care if I couldn’t do that ‘till the end. Cuz all I want is you to stay here with me, ‘till the day I die.” Together with the waves that once again came crashing, the sentence Baskara said with the deepest sincerity.

Next, no more conversations took place. Both of them are busy enjoying the beautiful scenery of God's creation with a mind that contains one thing in common: how to make their lives improve in the future.

...🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻...

It took at least an hour before Baskara turned his bike into a gudeg stall that was still relatively quiet. With a hundred thousand dollars, he then invited his lover in, sat on a chair and ordered two servings of rice gudeg with bacem eggs and tofu and tempe. Not to forget a glass of hot fresh tea and a bottle of mineral water to wash the remnants of food that sticks to the tongue after they eat.

“Bas,” after three mouthfuls, Blue put down his spoon. He then turned to the side, to Baskara who was still solemnly enjoying his food. The one called by his name also turned his head, then with that, Blue continued his words. “This time want to go directly to rented?”

Baskara frowned, but he kept asking, “If you still want to go for a walk, we continue the road. Wanna go where? Search the beach again?” tanyakanya.

But instead of saying yes, Sabiru just shook her head slowly. “Do not go to the beach again.”

“Oke, where are you going?”

“Hotel.” When Sabiru interrupts so, Baskara is drinking, be the water droplets that should have plunged smoothly through the throat even pushed out, spurting to hit the food that has just eaten half.

Still in great shock, Baskara turned her head quickly towards Sabiru, looking at her lover with a look of disbelief. “Lo said what just now?” tanyanya, hoping that her hearing alone is problematic so that it can not catch well what her lover was talking about before.

“Hotels. Let's find a hotel, we staycation for a day.” Blue with sparkling eyes. Like a boy who was trying to seduce his father to be allowed to play in the yard when the rain was falling so hard.

Initially, Baskara was silent, not yet knowing what kind of response to the invitation. Until finally, he took a glance from Sabiru while exhaling slowly. “If you staycation only because of my debut on the floor, better lupain. You obviously know that I'm just kidding.”

“But I want to. And this has absolutely nothing to do with the lie that was.”

Deaf, Baskara did not say. He instead pulled out the phone, engrossed in scrolling the screen while Sabiru knew what Baskara was doing was nothing more than swiping the menu right and left.

“Please,” Blue whining as last move. Baskara's arm he spun, he shook so that the owner immediately responded to his wishes. “Come, go, Yaaang. I want to staycation, a day. Yaah? Use my money, it's okay to get out of savings. Yaaa Darling, huh? Pleaseeeeeee???”

Pengang heard Blue continue to whine, Baskara finally nodded resignedly. “Habisin used to eat lo, we just walk find hotel.” Sneakily.

Then, there was no sound from Sabiru. The woman vigorously chewed her food, slipped a smile that then made Baskara also pulled the ends of her lips even though not too high.
