The Part 94

"Bay, how's my driver doing?" Ask Devon.

"The injury is not too severe, but must be treated in the hospital for a while. Oh yes sir I found interesting things about Mr. Arya," reported Bayu.

"What's that?" Devon asked curiously.

"He had a serious relationship with Miss Siska. They almost got married but their plan failed because Miss Siska cut off the relationship unilaterally. That's what I heard from my informant sir."

"Then what does this have to do with me?" Ask Devon.

"I just assumed sir. It's probably because Miss Siska thwarted her marriage to you that Arya took revenge on you." Bayu gave his opinion.

"Hmm, you're right. But we have to prove whether your suspicions are true. Oh yeah, looks like we're going to cut down on our employees Bay, please prepare enough severance for some laid-off employees. I don't want any trouble."

"Good, sir." Bayu nodded in understanding.

After that, Devon took his suit and left the room. Bayu followed from behind. "Sorry to have to trouble you" Devon said as he boarded Bayu's car.

Bayu just nodded not much to say.

...***...

Cindy was thinking of finding a way to help her husband. "I can't possibly stand idly by, Mas Devon is in financial trouble I as a good wife should help him."

Then he thought about contacting Irene. "Ren, can you work with me?" Pinta Cindy by phone.

"Maksudnya gimana mam?" Tanya Irene tidak mengerti.

"You helped me work in my bakery, we developed together. Oh yeah I also plan on taking Irma."

"Well my kingdom in Devon's office how is it?" Ask Irene.

"I'll be the one to say to my husband. Besides why does Tommy still let you work as a cleaning service? Once he let his girlfriend do the hard work" Cindy grumbled on the phone.

Irene chuckled at Cindy's words. She knew Cindy cared about her. "When did I start work?" Ask Irene.

"Tomorrow morning."

"Darling, who's calling?" Devon asked who had just entered his room.

Cindy ended her call. "Sama Irene. Oh yes Mas, I want to take Irene to work with me at my bakery" Cindy said.

"Well, anyway I have to cut down on some of the employees, baby. I also have to cut down on the housekeeper, do you agree?" Devon asked his wife for her opinion.

"Should ya?" Devon nodded.

"Well, I don't need a driver anywhere I can ride a motorcycle. Then I can cook for myself. But leave one person to take care of this big house. I had to work at my bakery back so I didn't have time to take care of the house. Imagine a house this big..."

"Okay, princess." Devon interrupted his wife.

Cindy chuckles in shame because she's so chatty.

After cleaning Devon's body and Cindy went down to the middle room. Then one of his house assistants was asked to call his friends.

"I want to talk to you guys" said Devon.

"We're in financial trouble so we want to lay off some people and leave only one domestic assistant" Devon said.

"You will get a full salary this month and a little severance from us, someday if we need you, then we will call you back to work" Cindy said.

"Well, madam," they answered in unison.

...***...

"Sir, but we want to work here!" Protesting one of the employees.

Devon sighed. "We want you to keep working for us. But do you want to work without a salary?"

That question got everyone quiet. "Trust me you will definitely get a better job from now on. I would recommend you to some of the company leaders I know."

The employees smiled broadly at Devon's decision. It seems like they have hope.

"Wood, please ask the vacancies to some of our colleagues' companies so that they can apply there!" Devon said with a flat expression.

"Good, sir."

"You're very kind sir. Maybe other leaders will fire without caring about their fate in the future. But you think of their fate sir." Bayu only insinuates his nonsense in the heart.

...***...

Irene came early to Cindy's house. "Tumben no one's guarding the house" he thought.

Irene came in and knocked on the door. "Eh, Irene."

"So quiet where's the mbok?" Irene asked the housekeeper at Cindy's house. "Everyone is not home. Mr. Devon works, Miss Cindy takes her son to school."

"Oh cello's in school?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Eh, there's an incoming message." Irene read a message from Cindy.

"If you'll excuse me" Irene told Cindy's housekeeper.

Irene was asked to come straight to Cindy's bakery. When she got there Irene had already seen Irma.

"Elo here too?" Ask Irene.

"Gue invited Cindy to work."

"Emang Elo can make a cake?" Irene asked doubtfully.

"If Irma can't make cakes, we teach her," said Cindy who just came.

"Well, isn't she wrong, mam?" Irene whispered in Cindy's ear.

Cindy frowned. "The irma has changed Ren. Besides he has no job what's wrong with us collaborating. Isn't that Irma?" Irma nodded.

"Didn't everyone have a chance to improve? I want you guys to help me advance my business because my husband's company is collapsing so he needs an injection of funds to bring his company back to life. I hope he doesn't owe the bank billions. If I could just let me supply the funds."

"Daebak, cool lo Mam." Irene gave two thumbs up.

"Yuk starts work, ten o'clock I have to be at the cello school to pick him up" Cindy said.

...***...

The clock shows ten in less than ten minutes. "Geez I almost forgot to pick up my son." Cindy took off the apron she was wearing and ran outside to wait for the taxi.

Irene and Irma were watching Cindy. "The wheel is spinning, right? There are times when above there are times below" said Irma with a soft word.

"Yes, but when will I be upstairs?" Irene daydreamed of her unchangeable fate.

"Aren't you dating Tommy, why did he let you work so hard?" Ask Irma.

"Newly dating is not to be a wife," answered Irene lazily. Tommy never paid more attention. They just meet, eat, and then send messages via cell phone.

"Ah come on, I'm upset myself if you remember him." Suddenly Irene's mood got bad.
