Cindy is not feeling well today. He called Irma. "Ma, I'm not going to the store today, please handle the store, Irene hasn't returned yet?"
"okay, Cin. Elo sick what?" Ask Irma by phone.
"Gue's just dizzy" replied Cindy.
"He's just taking a break." Then Cindy turned off her phone.
"Mak Nana can anterin Cello to school today? I suddenly got dizzy so I wanted to rest."
"Good, Mom."
"Yes the sick mama?" Tell Cello while stroking his mother's cheek.
"Yes dear. Departing with driver and mbak Nana ya." Cello nodded obediently.
Then Nana took Cello out. Devon had left early in the morning because he had to get out of town today.
"Now, please bring a warm drink to my room."
"What do you want to do, ma'am? What tea is ginger wedang?" Tanya Mbok Well a housekeeping assistant who has been working with him for the last three years.
"Ginger can also." After saying that Cindy slowly climbed up the stairs. But his head felt a great dizziness. He finally sat on the stairs.
"Mom, is mom okay? Let me look up," said Mbok Nah.
Cindy slowly stood up and walked slowly into the room.
"I'll call the doctor, ma'am?" Mbok Nah said. Cindy shakes.
Mbok Nah then took a small basin filled with warm water and then compressed it into Cindy's forehead.
"Mom's also got a fever. I'd better call Mr. Devon so that he knows your condition now" said Mbok Nah.
"Don't be confused, Mas Devon's job will be interrupted, I'm fine" Cindy refused.
But suddenly Cindy held onto her aching stomach. Nah was scared and panicked to see Cindy's state. Without being detained again Mbok Nah called Devon.
"Sir, please Miss Cindy is sick," she said in a trembling voice as if she wanted to cry. The middle-aged woman was afraid something might happen to Cindy. Because he's not usually in that kind of pain.
"What's? All right I'll be home now. I'll also call the family doctor to check on her condition" Devon said by phone.
"Is there something going on sir?" Bayu asked who saw his superior look anxious.
"Say Mbok Well Cindy is sick," replied Devon briefly.
After that Devon called his doctor to come to the house. Then he opened the car door.
"Wood, please handle the work here. I'm sorry I had to look at Cindy." Bayu nodded obediently.
Devon drove the car at high speed. It takes at least two hours to get home.
Meanwhile at home Cindy gets an examination from a doctor. "What's sick in this part?" Ask the doctor while pointing to the right side of the stomach.
"Right doc," replied Cindy weakly.
"It looks like it's a symptom of appendicitis. But this is just my prediction so you have to go to the hospital immediately to get a further examination," suggested the Doctor.
"Mom please follow the doctor's orders," said Mbok Nah half pleading. Because if his employer finds out his wife is sick but talks about it, Devon can get angry.
Cindy nodded. "Let me ask the driver for help to deliver you," said Mbok Nah.
While Cindy is taken to the hospital, Devon heads to her home. Their car passed by but it seemed like the man was not paying attention.
"What hospital?" Ask Devon.
"I don't know much, sir. You better call Mr. Hasan."
After that Devon called Hasan's number. "What hospital is it in?" Ask Devon to the point.
(----)
"All right, I'll be there soon." After that, he hung up his phone.
It didn't take Devon long to reach the hospital parking area. However, when he will enter the empty parking area someone first entered it.
Devon honks his car many times in annoyance. He then opened his car window to see who was slowly ahead of him parking.
"Basic is disrespectful" grumbled Devon.
Then a beautiful woman dressed as a doctor came out of the red car. "Devon," the woman mentioned the name of the man in front of her.
"Immy?" Devon said the name of the beautiful doctor.
Devon ignored the woman. Then he looked for another parking space. Devon rushed into the hospital. He moved his feet quickly and ignored even Alma.
"Dev..." Alma stomped her feet in annoyance as Devon ignored her call.
"Where's my wife?" Devon asked Mbok Well.
"Alhamdulillah finally arrived, Miss Cindy is in the pack" said Mbok Nah.
When Devon was about to enter a nurse forbade him. "I want to see my wife."
"But the doctor hasn't checked yet we wait for the doctor first sir."
"Where is the doctor why so long," grumbled Devon.
"What's this?" Ask someone whose voice is familiar to Devon. Devon. For a moment their views met.
"What are you doing here?" Ask Alma.
"I'm waiting for my wife who's sick, but she hasn't been examined since. Where's doctor? Why let a patient in pain wait?" Furious Devon. Alma doesn't accept Devon vilifying her. But he could only grunt annoyed.
"Dok, please check on the patient." The nurse gave her the medical records she recorded. Nature receives its report. For a moment Devon knitted his brows. "Is he the doctor he's waiting for?" Devon looked at Alma questioningly.
"I'll check on your wife you take it easy," Alma said with a cynical smile leaving Devon.
"So this woman is his wife? Beautiful too," Inner Alma.
"Immediately prepare the operating room, we can not delay its operation, the appendix must be removed." Alma's orders to the nurses.
One of the nurses went to see Devon. "Sir please take care of his administration, your wife will be operated on immediately because of appendicitis."
Devon widened his eyes in disbelief Cindy could get the disease. "Do your best for my wife" Devon said, signing the file.
A moment later Alma came out wearing the clothes that would be used for surgery. He glanced at Devon. Devon looked at him expectantly, so the woman saved his wife. Alma threw her face in the other direction. She felt heartache because Devon ignored her while in the car park.
A brief story about Alma who was a classmate of Devon while in High School. He had a crush on the man but at that time Devon only looked at Celine who was none other than her current brother-in-law.
Devon was valued by many of his female friends when he was still in school.
Alma then wanted to continue to study in the same department as Devon but his parents did not approve. He was asked to study in medicine.
