Today Cindy will do an examination to the obstetrician. Devon took the time to get his wife checked out. Unexpectedly when he was about to enter the obgyn doctor's room, he met someone he knew.
"Devon," call Alma.
Cindy frowned. "How could he be here? Though I've chosen a different hospital from where she works," Cindy's mind was clenching her hands in anger.
One thing she remembers is that she once expressed love for her husband openly in front of him. Cindy was lying weakly in the hospital. How could he possibly snatch another woman's husband?
Devon looked at his wife. Cindy did not like Alma. "Why did you come here?" Alma asked snobs.
"We.." Devon had no time to continue his words Cindy interrupted first.
"You go with him, I'll go in by myself" he said, choking in annoyance.
Devon pulled his wife's hand. Cindy turned her head towards her husband as her hand was pulled. "We went in together" Devon told his wife.
Regardless of Alma, Devon and Cindy enter the obgyn's office.
"Well, you always do this. Ignoring me and leaving me without saying goodbye" muttered Alma inwardly.
Cindy feels better when Devon decides to go in with her. Yes, the husband must avoid the seeds of actors like Alma, he thought.
"Good day, doc," said Devon and Cindy at the same time.
"Good afternoon. We just go straight, mom can fall on the bed!" Cindy obeyed the doctor's orders.
Then the doctor's assistant raised the top Cindy was wearing. He smeared a gel into Cindy's stomach. The doctor sat down and attached the ultrasound device.
"The baby's healthy, Mom. But his weight is less. You should add a nutritious meal-eat-n." Doctor's advice to Cindy.
"Dok, is it still not looking at the gender?" Devon asked curiously.
"God willing next month if we check again is visible, sir," replied the doctor.
After doing the examination, the doctor gave a prescription vitamin to Cindy. However, before saying goodbye Cindy expressed her wish.
"Doctor, can I travel far?" Cindy asked doubtfully.
"It's best not to, ma'am. The content in the early trimester is still vulnerable so I hope the mother does not travel far or do other activities that are draining." Cindy was disappointed when she heard the doctor's verdict.
"Don't forget the vitamins are taken every day yes, ma'am," he said with a friendly smile. Cindy nodded.
"Thank you very much, Doc," said Devon representing his wife.
After that they came out. When they came out, they were surprised to see Alma waiting for them.
"Can we talk for a second?" Alma asked the couple.
Once, Alma comes to Devon's house to apologize to Cindy but she only meets Devon. At that time Devon forbade Alma to meet Cindy because Cindy's condition was still unstable after appendectomy. And as if to owe Cindy an apology, Alma is now reunited with her.
Cindy held back her anger. He tries to calm down so as not to stress. "What are you talking about?" Cindy asked with a trembling tone.
Indeed, she is still sick if she remembers Alma not considering her as Devon's legal wife and ignore her existence to dare to express love in front of her directly.
Cindy's chest rumbled but she tried to be patient. "We talk while sitting down to make you calmer. I don't want to stress you out because you're pregnant, do I?" Guess Alma.
"Alma can't you leave us?" Devon Pinta. He was very worried that the two women would have a disagreement.
"Mas, let him talk!" Cindy spoke expressionlessly to her husband. Devon shuddered in horror at his wife's cold words.
"Come with me!" Alma asked the two to follow her.
This time Cindy said. Devon also did not remain silent. He follows in Alma's footsteps and will protect his wife if something bad happens.
Cindy and Devon drag their seats. "Say! I don't have much time" Cindy said firmly.
"I'm sorry!" Alma said while shedding tears. He had been holding back his tears from falling. He felt guilty for Cindy.
"Didn't it happen a long time ago, why just apologize now!" Ask Cindy with great emphasis.
"Honey, actually, he came to the house to apologize to you. But I forbade him from seeing me for a while" Devon said in defense of Alma.
Cindy stared at her husband. "So you defended him?" Accuse Cindy.
Devon shakes. "I'm just telling you the truth" Devon said.
Cindy's chest feels tight when she remembers Alma's actions. However, he did not want to have any more business with the woman in front of him.
"Well, I'll forgive you but on one condition stay away from us. Let's just say we don't know each other. I don't want to remember the pain you once inflicted on my heart" Cindy replied firmly.
Alma breathed heavily. Although Cindy's request is a bit excessive in her opinion but Nature according to what Cindy said as long as she gets her apology. All this time he was so overcome with guilt that he could not live his days in peace.
"Alright, I will meet your requirements" Alma replied with a heavy heart even though she had to pretend not to know Devon.
After that Cindy got up and took a break from Alma. "I'm sorry if I'm too cruel but it seems like the best way to keep my household safe" Cindy said before leaving. Alma nodded in understanding.
Devon nodded at Alma as they were about to split up. He looked at his schoolmate. But Cindy's decision was taken with careful consideration of course so Devon will support Cindy's decision.
"Mas, when did my proposal for the aid delivery plan get you done?" Ask Cindy to make sure.
"I haven't talked about that with Tommy. I will ask Bayu to take care of it" replied Devon.
"Thank you" Cindy said to her husband.
"Not thank you for our obligation to help others especially those from your hometown" Devon replied with a smile to his wife.
"Thank you for supporting my decision" Cindy replied as she stared at her husband. Devon just nodded.
After that, the two got into the car and went home.
Elsewhere, Ruby, fresh out of the school gate, accidentally meets someone as she waits for her order taxi.
"Hi" the baritone's voice made Ruby turn her head.
"You?" Show Ruby.
"It turns out you went to school here." Dani spread her gaze around Ruby's school.
"Yes. Why are you here?" Ruby asked suspiciously.
"I accidentally passed by and saw you standing on the side of the road so I stopped" Dani replied casually.
"Oh," Ruby's just a ooh ria.
"I want to...."
"With Ruby's mom?" Ask the taxi driver online who ordered Ruby.
Ruby nodded. "Sorry taxi I've come, '" said Ruby to Dani.
"Aren't you with me?" Dani offered me a ride. Ruby only returned her rejection with a smile.
After seeing the departure of Ruby Dani looked annoyed to punch the air.
