ALOVA Special Prisoner

ALOVA Special Prisoner
Chapter 97 The Unexpected Gift

Rosa couldn't sleep the last two nights. He kept thinking about that guy named Alvin. The man who managed to ravage the day and its defensive walls.

His heart was broken when the man said that night was their last meeting.

There was a strange feeling when he saw Alvin's disappointment because he didn't give any answer.

There was a sense of anger in himself for hurting the day the man who clearly loved him was.

Rosa was sorry. He regretted his naivety that made him unable to meet the man anymore.

Rosa took a long breath. A pile of files waiting to be done to make him realize, he must stop thinking about his lost romance before it develops because he feels he is not comparable to Alvin.

Monday was the most annoying day for him. What's more, Lova has not been able to enter work until almost all of the work she is backing up.

Clara is no less busy. He gets a call asking if Lova has been to work or not. Though the client knew, his boss was newly married and still on leave.

"Geez! Why today so many clients are amnesiac and suddenly become bod*h!" Clara complained while putting the phone handle located on her desk.

"Rabbering on, Cla?" ask Rosa wonder.

"How not to nag. She's the third client to ask if Bu Lova's been in the office."

"Where's the common sense? They came to Lova's reception but instead asked for her arrival."

"He thought, Miss Lova did not want to relax and enjoy the ahh time with Mr Ken?"

Rosa laughed at the words of the ahh days that Clara spoke.

"The new bride was asked for her arrival. Just being able to answer an urgent call is a miracle!"

Rosa is getting worse. "Maybe those clients just want to hear your voice, Cla."

"Maybe one of your big fans!"

"I'm not interested in a married man" Clara replied quickly.

Rosa's phone rings. And he saw who contacted him.

"Long life, Cla," said Rosa because of the name Lova that appeared on her screen.

"Good morning, Mom..."

"Rose! The file that was supposed to be submitted to Alvin, have you finished?"

"Already, Mom! But you haven't signed it yet."

"Ah, thank goodness. No problem, Ros. Please, ask anyone to take you to the airport. Because Alvin suddenly had to return to Australia and his plane was leaving in a few hours. No time to stop by the office, Ros!"

Rosa rolled her eyes. "Good Mom. I'll have the driver drop off!"

"Soon, Ros. I'll have whoever's dropping off to call me, yeah..."

***

Rosa got off and out of the company building. He's looking for a company driver around the lobby.

"The driver's out on the staff meeting outside, ma'am. One more thing, ma'am can't attend because she's sick." replied a security guard when Rosa asked about the office driver's whereabouts.

Rosa breathed. The file in his hand should be set immediately. He thought for a moment. If you ask for an OB or an intern, is it not risky? This file is very important. Although Ms. Lova will check again there, but I can't take it lightly.

Rosa finally asked Clara to get OB to deliver the bag that was still lying on her desk.

He must deliver this file directly. Rosa booked a taxi online to get to the airport.

Long enough, almost 15 minutes finally he was in a taxi that would take him to the destination.

Rosa prayed that it would not be too late to put this file in Lova's hands. He saw a fairly solid highway, so that the taxi could not go fast.

"Sir, can't you find a shortcut or a quieter path?" ask Rosa.

"Can't, Mom. We'll be there soon, Mother, don't worry. The streets are only a little congested but not to the point of being jammed."

Rosa leaned her back. His phone vibrated, as there was an incoming message. He searched and took the phone out of his bag.

But a small white envelope stole his attention.

"Whose property is this?" muttered.

Lova picked up the envelope from when it was in her bag and kept looking at her phone and ascertaining who was sending the message.

After replying to a message that turned out to be from Lova, she focused again on the envelope in her hand.

He turned the envelope back and found his name written there.

Rosa.

This for me?

Rosa opened the envelope that had been in her bag for some time. He also did not know who gave it or even put it in his bag.

Dear Rosa's.

I don't know when you'll read this letter. But certainly before, once again forgive me if my words at the party, hurt your heart.

Happy birthday, Ros.

Haha... Too cowardly to say it directly.

May you live a long and healthy life always. Best wishes for you, Ros.

Ah, ja...

I actually prepared a gift for you...

Look in your work drawer, there's a brown envelope. Hope you like it.

Marked,

Alvino Aldric's

Rosa frowned. "Today is my birthday." Rosa just realized it. "God! I don't even remember!"

"What chocolate envelopes do you mean? Then this envelope was just in my bag this morning. Who put it in? What's OB?" mumbling slowly.

Rosa asks Clara to open the contents of the brown envelope that Alvin means. Breaking privacy does, but this is better than him dying curious.

Before long, Clara and Rosa make a video during a call. Clara does not want any misunderstanding later because Rosa says that the girl herself does not know the contents of the envelope.

Clara opened the drawer and found the brown envelope at the top.

"What is this, Ros?" ask Clara.

"It looks like it is, Cla!"

Clara opened the envelope and found a letter of sale, a land she knew was located.

"Land and land, Ros. A plot of land on Xxx street. Bought by Alvino Aldric. Isn't this Mr Alvin?"

"Here, isn't this the land of a former foster home?" rosa Mummings.

"Second sheet, the handover of the land is in your name and Mr. Alvin has signed it." continued Clara while showing the second sheet.

Especially this, my God. Why is that guy full of surprises like this. I already feel guilty for letting her down, but she gave it all to me instead?

"Ros, are you okay?" clara asked because Rosa was just silent while looking at the blank screen of her phone.

"Ah, yes... I'm okay Cla." Rosa wiped her tears.

"Rose! There is still a letter in it. Handwriting and it seems I have no right to read it."

"I'll take a picture and send it to you, Ros."

Rosa nodded. "Thanks Cla..."

It didn't take long, Rosa got a photo of the letter Alvin wrote.

Hii... You read my letter again?

No offense to what's in that envelope. I just want to keep you from getting burdened with the orphanage kids.

Start thinking about your own life, Ros. Find happiness. I know, you feel empty even though the orphanage kids can make you laugh sometimes. I know, you feel alone and need someone to fill the space between your fingers. And I realized, that man wasn't me even though I had hoped for it.

Don't feel low just because of what I gave you. I just feel like I'm flying into the past every time I see kids living without their warm hugs.

I was in that position, Ros. Even worse, I was abandoned and frightened, but my parents had a house and a treasure.

I sincerely want to help them. Please accept this for the sake of their comfort and happiness. For a more decent place to live.

The construction of the parlor file I'll send you in a few days. And all the construction, let the company take care of. I've already left everything to Brother Lova.

Marked.

Alvino Aldric's

Rosa crying. Her tears could no longer stand. He did not understand the man named Alvino Aldric.

He hurt her feelings, but the man gave her so much kindness. Rosa regretted, she truly regretted hurting the man even though the man did not look down on her in the slightest.

Rosa arrives at the airport and she immediately meets Lova who has sent a message where her boss is now.

"Lady..."

"You crying, Ros?"

Rosa shakes. He looked around but did not find Alvin.

"He's going to the toilet." Lova seemed to know what Rosa was looking for.
