ALOVA Special Prisoner

ALOVA Special Prisoner
Chapter 40 Night

Ken's in the kitchen tonight. He was brewing black coffee with hot water from a dispenser. He stirred slowly and brought the cup of coffee to the backyard.

Care is still ongoing, but not as tight as before. He sat himself in a long chair and faced the swimming pool. He tried to think of the next plan.

Mr. Hendrico recognized me as Ken Darrass, an employee at Brata's company. Then how can I appear before him without involving the company of the Father?

Did I just work for Thomas' company? Ck! How could I suddenly appear there? Isn't it too obvious?

Or is it better that I go through and find out his illegal business, so that I can put him in prison?

But I want his life! Not seeing him crouching behind bars!

"Dreaming, Ken?" The soft voice made Ken turn his head and find Lova standing nearby.

The girl who wore long pajamas was now sitting next to him making him uphold the sitting position. "Ehm, no."

Lova laughed a little. "Why stare at the calm pool water?"

"Just try to get some fresh air. And it just so happened that the pool was in plain sight" replied Ken.

"As usual! I can always answer!" lova sounds almost like a satire.

"It's me!" Ken replied proudly. This is the person who can always answer the questions of others. Even though the question cornered him though.

Lova was silent for a moment. He occasionally glanced at the coffee cup in Ken's hand.

"Do you want to make coffee?" Bargain Ken.

Lova. "No need."

"Kens,"

"Yes..."

"Tell me about you!" Pinta Lova's.

Ken laughed softly. "What story do you want to hear from Ms Lova?"

"I'm not your boss!" Lova pushed her shoulders softly and Ken chuckled.

Lova looked straight ahead again. "Tell me how your childhood was, why you could meet your mother in the forest. And how can you get up?"

"You sure you want to hear my story?" Lova nodded.

"All right."

"Don't cry!" Lova laughed a little.

"Then, 13 years ago."

Ken let out a heavy sigh making Lova guess as hard as what her childhood was.

"Nothing special" Ken said later. "So, there's nothing to tell."

Lova was silent and saw that eyes were unable to look straight ahead. Ken's down inside. Obviously not the brave Ken he knew. It wasn't Ken the debater he was seeing right now. But, an ordinary man with a gaping wound on his chest.

It might be too painful to tell.

"Then Mother?" Ask. "Tell me about your mother during her amnesia, Ken!"

Ken's staring. "Mommy must have told you. Why am I telling you again?" Ask Ken.

"I just want to hear your version!"

Ken smiled a little. "She's a great woman."

"Ah, yes Ken. I want to ask!" Cut Lova.

"First, when you found Mother, did you not realize that Mother was the victim of an accident? And why don't you hand over your mother to the authorities?"

Ken smiled bitterly. "How can we hand over our mother to the authorities if we're hiding from someone."

"We didn't have a cell phone at the time, let alone a tv. So, we don't know about the accident."

"Every time we hear and see other people in the forest, we try to avoid them. There was nothing to believe, Lov! All we consider as enemies and threats."

"Who's after you, Ken?"

Ken looked at her for a moment. "Enemy!"

"But who, Ken?" His pedicab.

"He's the one who wiped out our mom and dad." Ken told Lova a story. Not to seek sympathy but for his own peace. Maybe by telling a story he felt a little relieved.

Flashback.

"Mama...." Alvin, then 12, cried when he saw his mother lying on the floor covered in blood.

A shot managed to pierce his forehead and the beautiful woman instantly breathed her last.

Ken tried to shut Alvin up. Both of them were hiding under the bed.

A few minutes ago they were gathered in that room. But when they hear someone attacking from the outside, they choose to hide under the bed. However, when his mother had not hidden, the enemy had already entered the room.

"I will slaughter all of Aldric's descendants!" The voice of a familiar man made him round his eyes.

"Where are their children?"

"All rooms are empty, sir! It looks like they're not here!"

"How can you?"

"One of the cars they're carrying isn't in this house, sir!"

"Maybe their children went with one of the house assistants."

"Find them to see you! And if you need to bring the body in front of me!"

Almost an hour they hid and finally Ken ventured to get out after the atmosphere felt lonely.

Ken looked out the window and there were no more vehicles outside.

Alvin weeps for his mother's body. "Mama... wake up, Ma..."

"Alvin's scared, Ma!"

"Shhh!" Ken asked her to shut up. "Calm Vin! We need to get out of this house!" Ken pulled Alvin's body out.

"Come to the police station! We have to have the police arrest them."

"Don't!" reject Ken. "They're after us, Vin!"

"If we report to the police, they'll easily find us!"

Ken searches for his mother's valuables stored in a hidden safe. Ken took the whole expensive jewelry as their stock escaped.

"Come, Vin!" Ken pulls Alvin's body still lamenting his mother's body.

"Sister mom!" his sobs.

Ken was standing in front of the body. He kissed those paled hands and forehead for the last time.

"Ken take Alvin away, Ma. We have to stay alive to avenge this abomination" Ken said.

"Sorry Ken had to leave Mama here. I hope the authorities can find my mom soon."

Ken got out of the house and found some of his papa confidants hiding outside the house. Behind the big trees.

"Young master!" Ken saw three people who were injured.

"You guys still here?" ask Ken for wonder.

"We're waiting for young Master Ken and young Master Alvin out of the house!" answer One of them.

"We believe you must have survived because one of them ordered to find the Young Master outside the house. Exactly looking for the car you're driving."

"Areally where's our car?"

"The car is being brought by the driver to the workshop. And maybe they think you're out with that car."

Ken breathed a sigh of relief. "We're leaving this place, sir!"

"We're coming, young master!" say them all.

"You guys..."

"We've promised the great Lord to take care of you both."

"Come on!" Ken nodded. Ken carried Alvin on his back. "Don't cry anymore, Vin! We'll make it."

"Young Master! It'll be safer if we get into the woods!" Said one of the men as Ken walked towards the main road.

"But, Sir?"

"They must be guarding the main road leading to this location to wait for the return of the Young Master."

Ken nodded in understanding. There is only one access road to this house and they are definitely waiting there.

Flashback Off

Lova looked at Ken who was trying to hold back her tears.

"That's your house, Ken?" asked Lova and Ken a small nod.

"Actually not the house we used to live in. We went there to hide because the last time you called, he was trapped and trying to escape from the enemy."

"It's on the edge of the forest."

"You apart or what, Ken?" ask Lova.

"So, papa was on a business trip. And in a precarious situation, papa still had time to contact us, Lov."

"And papa also called my mother's sister."

"It was the one who finally brought us from this country."
