A video call from Thomas. Ken answered and put the phone on the table. More precisely he rests in a vase of flowers. He was looking for important information from his laptop about anything related to Mr. Hendrico.
"What's up, Thom?" He asked as Thomas's face appeared on the screen.
"Groom, Ken!" Thomas is a bit overrated. "It's bad, Ken!" reset the man whose face filled Ken's phone screen.
"What's so bad?" Ask while staring at the phone screen at a glance and then look back at the laptop screen. He knew Thomas' habits were excessive so he was not very interested.
"When I got home from the office, someone followed my car" Thomas said, full of drama.
"Then?" Ask.
"It could be your fans or the girl you haven't paid for last night" he continued indifferently. Thomas who likes to change girls not infrequently make the man pursued and even followed up to the house.
"Blogin*an!" Bump Thomas with an annoyed face and Ken chuckled.
"So what else if it wasn't that, Thom?"
"Not that, Ken! But someone followed my car and rather the Alvin they were following" Thomas said without pause.
Ken immediately closed his laptop and stared at the screen of the phone that appeared on Thomas's face.
"You mean?" Ask Ken curiously. Ken's face began to stiffen because he knew this was serious and could have been a sign of danger.
"Well, you're finally looking at me." Thomas's laughter exploded.
Indeed, when it comes to Alvin's safety, Ken is willing to do anything. He didn't want to lose the only family he had. Ken has promised himself to keep Alvin as a replacement for his parents.
Ken showed a flat expression and Thomas knew it was a danger sign. He returned serious and focused on staring at the phone screen.
"OKAY. Okay. We're serious."
"Back from the office this afternoon, Alvin hitchhiked in my car. And he realized that a suspicious black car was following our car."
"I tried to go around in circles and the car was still following. And I ended up dropping Alvin off at Jack's apartment."
"OK..." Ken is still listening. "Then?"
"I came home and the car was no longer following me."
"Sorry Ken, I can't take any chances. I'm afraid it's old Hendrico and I don't want Mommy and the others involved."
Ken nodded in understanding. He knew Thomas was only worried about his family.
If Mr. Hendrico knew Alvin was also living in a house with Thomas then it would be very dangerous for the Thomas family. Although Ken wasn't sure this was the first time they'd been followed. It could have been for a few days now, after meeting Mr. Hendrico and Alvin, someone had followed his sister even to the house.
"This is the result of his ridiculous confession, Thom. And now, he has to be ready for an attack that might come suddenly," Ken said.
"He'll continue to be a target, Thom. Until the old man gets what he wants."
"He must want to find out who Alvino Aldric is."
"That's what I was thinking too, Ken!"
"Alvin sloppy. He's not riding a motorcycle or public transport, he's riding my car" Thomas said.
"Yes, even though I was wrong to give him a ride" Thomas continued.
Ken took a breath. "Already, just let Alvin in there first. Thom, send someone to look after her."
"I'm looking for evidence of the old man's illicit business. His concentration is being divided for Alvin."
"All right, Ken."
"I had to refuse, Ken!" Thomas smiled blandly.
"Why?" Ken asked because Thomas seemed reluctant to deal with Mr. Hendrico.
"I don't want his personal problems to trigger our employees to lose their jobs."
"He's in the company it's like putting a lion in our cage."
"Just put a thorn in the flesh."
"She'll also find out who you are and Alvin is."
"My advice is to attack immediately without involving Ken's company!"
"It's a matter of personal grudge between you and him. This is also his personal problem that is curious about the company that in an instant wants to help the Lova company. And he must know it was you, Ken."
"Alvin can't wait until when he'll continue to be in danger."
"I also can't continue to give a logical reason if that man continues to want to cooperate with us." What Thomas meant by that man was Mr. Hendrico.
"I will run the company as I can, even if the man attacks from the outside as he did the Lova company."
"Thanks Thanks! I'll try my best. All the team members are working hard to find the info and evidence."
"Okay, Ken! Act immediately and if you have reached the end of the game. I put a hot lead on his forehead in return for the pain my aunt felt from him."
Ken laughed a little. His cousin could have dropped a shot*an in Mr. Hendrico's forehead.
"I'll avenge what he did to you, Thom!" answer Ken. Without Thomas teaching, he would have done it. Replying to the abomination he saw with his own eyes.
Call ended. Ken massaged the throbbing forehead. He must have thought about Alvin's safety. At times Mr. Hendrico could have attacked his brother.
Ken can't do much, he can't protect Alvin who's on that other continent. He can only tighten the guard so as not to be cheated.
Ken sent a message to Alvin.
Watch yourself! I'm gonna tell Thomas to give you a bodyguard, an Office boy who's gonna be your friend when you go and get home from work. Even she'll be your shadow in the office and Jack's apartment, too.
It didn't take long, Alvin immediately replied.
Thank you, Brother. I think brother is too much. If he attacked me, it would be much better. I can just go straight through his heart.
You childish man. He thought it was like playing war. Hendrico couldn't have appeared before you, bod*h! He would stand and take refuge behind his numerous men. Inner Ken was upset.
Ken returned Alvin's message. Just keep your bullets! He won't show up. Be careful and don't be rash again!
Ja. I'll be careful. Reply Alvin again.
Ken put down his phone and within seconds an incoming message made the rectangular screen blink.
A news page screenshot first appeared when he opened the message.
The news title is Police managed to thwart sa*bu transaction weighing 5 kg in the middle of the sea.
It's thought it was one of his businesses, sir!
Ken put his phone back on after finding out about the news. And the news is true. But the two perpetrators are still silent about who their big boss is.
If in front of the authorities they can shut up, especially if I managed to bend one of his men. They must be loyal to that man.
