Chapters 28. Third Man

Syarla and Ryan are still in the metting room after their meeting with a client from Pramanas Cafe. Ryan and Syarla are indeed needed to provide solutions in the development of restaurants, whether they want to open or who have opened a restaurant.

She was not far from where Ryan was sitting. The woman deliberately took the opportunity in this atmosphere to get close to Ryan. "Ryan, what's our next plan?" syarla asked as she deliberately held the back of Ryan's hand.

Realizing Ryan, he quickly pulled his hand. Stay away from Syarla's hand. "I'm sorry, Ryan, I didn't mean it." Syarla instantly moved her hand away from the man.

"It seems after this we will make a proposal how to work to develop a business easily and quickly." Ryan turned the discussion. "I need your help to do it."

Of course Syarla is willing because he will be closer to Ryan. And, until the time comes Syarla who has been waiting for Ryan since at Cafe Pelangi was very disappointed when he saw Ryan brought Allea to join them.

"But, it's okay. This could be a good thing," inner Syarla. He rose from his seat to welcome them. He deliberately made a counterversion in front of Allea.

"Hi, Ryan." Not looking at Allea as Ryan's lover, Syarla immediately kissed Ryan's right and left cheeks. So, Ryan had lost quickly to avoid him.

Allea stared in shock at Syarla's aggressive attitude towards Ryan. Though they are friends, but why does Syarla do more than just friends?

They chose a place and sat together. In the middle of it, Ryan left for a while leaving Allea and Syarla both to the toilet. Both of Allea's eyes stared at Syarla's face dislike. His right attitude made Allea fret.

"So, why did you do that?" ask Allea.

"What's wrong, All?"

"Kiss Ryan's right and left cheek." Syarla laughs a little.

"All, you'll have lived in Germany and I think you know that there like that is normal. I do it also because it is a habit in Korea. So, what's wrong, All? Or are you jealous?"

"It was abroad and now we are in Indonesia. I don't think it's appropriate" argued Allea.

"Somehow, I think it's only natural that I don't like seeing Ryan close to other women. It's not a matter of losing competitiveness or anything, but because Ryan's my boyfriend! Anyway, you're an old friend of Ryan's, but why do you have to overdo it?"

"Old friend you said?" Syarla gave a small laugh while looking at Allea. "All right, what Ryan said was that I was his old friend, it was wrong. I'm not a friend let alone an old friend, but I'm Ryan's ex-girlfriend."

"I think Ryan is deliberately not honest with you because he wants to keep your feelings, but actually ..."

"What actually?" ask Allea.

Not long after, Syarla sees Ryan walking towards them. No matter what he was thinking, he suddenly had an idea and made an alibi in front of Ryan.

"Better you're honest what exactly? From the beginning I thought you were nice, but you were a biker!" Suddenly Syarla's eye bead glazed over.

"All, why are you? You're accusing me of cheating on you with Ryan?" Allea was surprised to see Syarla who suddenly changed drastically and so soft tone of speech. Apparently, he just realized that there was a Ryan approaching them.

"You ask Allea, Ryan. I'm really offended to be accused of being your affair. Though I've made it clear that you and I have nothing to do."

"What's that, All?" ask Ryan.

"That's not the story, An." Allea brushed aside everything Syarla said and tried to explain the truth because it was not. Ryan did not believe it at all.

Ryan has known Syarla for a long time and he knows how the nature of Syarla will not be possible to pit one against another. However, Ryan's distrust of Allea left him deeply disappointed in the man.

Allea did not expect that Syarla would do this. He trapped Allea so easily. They are so close.

"Ryan, maybe Allea doesn't like us working together. But he's just pretending to support you. You better do the proposal yourself first. And, you try to explain everything to Allea because I don't want to be made a scapegoat like this."

After saying that, Syarla left them. Anyway, Ryan is going to meet Syarla because he is so needed to do his job. Yes, Syarla is very important influence for Ryan.

Allea is disappointed to see Ryan who regrets Syarla's departure. Even make them disagree. Shouldn't Ryan understand the feeling of Allea whose status is her lover?

"All, I ask you to help me understand. I purposely invited you here to accompany me and Syarla so that there is no misunderstanding between us. So you can see what Syarla and I are doing."

"I don't talk to Syarla, Ryan. I'm just saying that I don't like him getting too close to you like he was. I don't know what it means to tell a story that I'm accusing him of being your affair."

"But, All, Syarla can't possibly be lying. What if he complains to someone else. It opens the Syarla type. I know what he's like because I've known him for a long time."

"Yes, I know that you and Syarla have known you for a long time because of your ex-boyfriend Syarla, right? And, you covered everything from me. Talk like he's an old friend, but it turns out it's just a bunch of stuff!"

Ryan is shocked when he hears Allea knows where Syarla is from. Ryan's facial reaction allowed Allea to guess. "Why? Are you surprised that I know your lies? You keep thinking that I know from where?"

"I'm sorry, All ... I didn't mean to lie to you. I just don't want you to think that later if you don't know Syarla's my ex."

It turns out, what Syarla said was true that Ryan deliberately did it to keep his feelings. And if Ryan was honest, Allea is okay and that's better.

"That's right what Syarla said if you keep it a secret just keep my feelings? Then, after that secretly you often meet the two of you?" guess Allea.

"You're thinking too far, All. Do not because your past was betrayed with Rangga and Rhea, now you instead make or equalize me just like them!" Suddenly Ryan's tone of voice grew bigger and it left Allea in deep thought.

"I'm sorry, All. I don't mean to talk in a big tone to you." Allea's eye beads glazed over, she immediately left Rangga.

During her four years of dating, Allea had never heard Ryan talk as big as he did. Even LDR Ryan always patiently waited. But, since the arrival of Syarla even changed everything.

Ryan trusts Syarla more than Allea. The story that was so beautiful they designed first without a third person, now everything changes just like that.
