Allea

Allea
Chapters 11. Love that is Wasted

That night Allea was busy in the kitchen with cakes and flour slightly scattered on the kitchen set. The sound of the mixer was heard up to the middle room, making Vena and Andre curious about what Allea was doing.

Vena and Andre approached Allea, they saw clearly a face full of happy smiles adorning Allea's lips.

"Allea, what are you doing?" ask Vein.

"I'm making a cake for Rangga, Ma, Pa. Tomorrow Rangga is a birthday, so I really want to give her a surprise. Rangga must be very happy."

Instantly, Vena looked at Andre's face which was as confused as hers. Vena was eager to ban Allea, but surely the girl would still do what she wanted to do.

Unlike Andre who does not want to see Allea continue like this. Blind because of the love that broke her heart. Instead, he wanted to forbid Allea from doing anything else for the young man who had betrayed him.

However, Vena blocked Andre when the middle-aged man almost opened his voice. As a fellow woman, of course, Vena understands the feelings of Allea more than Andre.

"I just don't want my son to go crazy because of that young man" Andre said in a voice that shrank to prevent Allea from being heard.

Vein turned towards Allea. Seeing her face so crisp, made Vena not bear. The woman immediately brought Andre into the living room back.

"Why did you bring me here, Ma?" asked Andre while frowning his forehead.

"Don't you, Pa. Just let Allea do what she wants to do."

"When do you want? Until Allea went crazy for not succeeding in accepting the fact that the brash kid had already betrayed her?"

"Pa, Mama knows and understands what Papa means. Mama doesn't want to see Allea like that either, but Allea is an adult. He knows what is right and wrong. All just wait for the time and later I or Iqbal will talk slowly with Allea."

Andre just sighed. Naturally as a father, he was very afraid that his daughter was not controlled by the love that made him suffer. Fighting for the person who had already hurt him, it only made everything go to waste.

"Trust me, yeah. I'm sure that Allea must be aware of what she's doing in a moment." Vena gave understanding to Andre. Although it was difficult at first, but finally succeeded despite the more heavy heart that Andre felt as papa Allea.

***

That morning Allea deliberately came early to surprise Rangga. He brought a cake that he had made to bother last night just for Rangga.

The atmosphere of the campus is not as crowded as usual. Allea brought her homemade cake and placed it on Rangga's table. From a distance he monitored the arrival of Rangga.

Not long later, Rangga's figure walking with Daren leads their class. Rangga was confused to see a white box on his desk. Her curiosity made her open the box.

A cake with inscriptions on chocolate bars, 'Happy Birthday, Honey'. The writing made Rangga smile widely because his guess was the gift of Rhea.

In the middle of Daren teasing Rangga, Iqbal walks into class and sits in his chair. He was so indifferent to the presence of Rangga and Daren there.

"Gue didn't expect, Rhea could be this romantic as me." Rangga said with enlarged intonation for Iqbal to hear what he said.

"Rangga, how? Do you like the cake? As usual, I always make you a birthday cake. It's my cake, ngga."

Seeing Allea like a girl begging for love because her love was not appreciated, Iqbal approached Allea and resuscitated her.

"All, what are you doing here?" ask Iqbal.

"Gue again gave a surprise to Rangga, Iqbal."

"Gue knows, but what to do? You have to realize that a guy like him doesn't deserve sincerity from you."

"What the hell, Iqbal. I'm sure, Rangga still has the same feeling to me." Allea still could not accept the reality.

"I'm sorry, Allea. I can't be the same anymore, because I'm the same Rhea. Better, you take this cake back. Thanks for your good intentions for me, but still I can not accept," said Rangga without caring about the pain of Allea.

Allea is hysterical again, not sure if Rangga rejects her. The love that Rhea had for her was only a pseudo-love that would momentarily be lost to time, whereas her love for Rangga was always true.

Allea makes assumptions beyond reason. Where there is true love, but love when lovers are already husband and wife. But, Allea still rejected reality in plain sight.

Iqbal takes Allea out of her class. He took Allea to sit in the garden and under a shady tree. In Allea's cries, Iqbal hugged her tightly to the girl. He didn't want to see the girl get worse.

"You should realize, All, that Rangga doesn't love you anymore. A traitor like him would never deserve a good woman like you. I'm sure one day the relationship with Rhea wasn't long because their relationship started with your heartache, All."

Gently, Iqbal stroked Allea's head. Seen, the sincerity of Iqbal's attitude to Allea. How Iqbal loved the girl, but the feeling was buried to protect Allea. He sacrificed so that the girl would not stay away from him.

Allea took off Iqbal's embrace from him, then Iqbal wiped his tears. After which, the young man tightly held Allea's hand.

"All, after nyokap married bokap lo, I've considered bokap lo like my own bokap. I also promised not only my mom and dad, but myself. As long as I'm on this earth, with all my might I'll keep you."

Hearing that, Allea gave a small laugh. That laugh sounds funny.

"Why are you laughing?" ask Iqbal confused.

"Where might you keep me going. If you are married and have a family, surely your time will be reduced for me and you will be more superior to your family. Your wife and children."

Iqbal laughed with Allea. What Allea said was true. However, even so Iqbal will still be ready to install the body to protect Allea, even though later Allea is married to a man of her choice.

From far away, Ryan was staring fixedly at Allea's face. Allea's sweet smile made her smile as a result of being fascinated by the girl's beauty.

Allea is indeed better and looks more beautiful at a time like this, than having to cry for Rangga who has become the villain of the girl's heart.

"I hope you will never be as sad again as you have been. Because your tears are too precious to be wasted."
