Annabelle has just finished with the campus business and intends to return to the Hutama Building by online taxi.

Alden had offered a car with a driver to pick Annabelle up but was denied it and this time Alden was not forced as usual.

Annabelle's mind was still filled with Sarah's hate speech. The gaze of the woman's eyes was filled with indelible anger, hurt and resentment.

Seeing Sarah's condition in Lapas, Annabelle felt like de javu with Alden's condition rampaging in the hospital when she found out Sarah, his future wife had an accident.

Guilt filled Annabelle's heart to the point of making her claustrophobic and unable to be near Alden.

Several times Annabelle sighed heavily, regretting that she felt she had become one of the causes of Alden and Sarah's marriage cancellation.

Had Annabelle not been too kepo just because of hearing the secret talk of Sarah and Reyhan…

Had Annabelle not been reckless to ask Sarah to leave the apartment just because of her belief in acting in the name of love for Alden

Suppose that…. Annabelle shook her head.

Sarah and Alden's anger based on disappointment could be because they both love each other.

If not love, how did Alden decide to marry Sarah even though he knew that she was no longer a virgin ? Though Alden idealism wants to marry a woman who can still keep her most valuable possession.

If not love, just because it failed to prove Sarah's environment, why did Alden go on a rampage in the hospital and even expect Annabelle to be gone ?

Annabelle shook her head again with a long sigh.

His heart again doubted the sincerity of Alden's love. It is possible that Alden's love is not the love between a grown man and woman, but rather the sincere love of brother and sister as they grow together.

Annabelle turned her face, staring at every row of buildings and the traffic she was passing by with a chaotic feeling.

His confidence in Alden's love seemed to be torn in two between two opposing realities.

That's why Annabelle tried to avoid Alden today. The routine morning tasks were ignored by Annabelle and Alden was not forced by persuasion and whining as usual.

“Nona, has arrived,” said the online taxi driver when he saw Annabelle was still silent even though the car had stopped in the lobby of Hutama building about 3 minutes ago.

“Eh sorry,” says Annabelle a little flirting.

“Nothing,” said the driver with a smile looking at Annabelle from the middle spy.

“Thank you, Sir.”

Annabelle nodded her head and opened the door right in front of the lobby.

The security guard greeted him kindly as well as the receptionist and several employees who knew Annabelle because she had been an employee at Hutama Group for almost 4 years.

Annabelle went straight up to Alden's room. His feelings were mixed, between regret and uneasiness because Alden had not contacted him at all.

Annabelle frowned as she did not see Tami or Raka in front of Alden's room. The wall clock shows the time at 12.05.

Annabelle opened the door because there was no answer from inside the room even though she had knocked on the door more than three times.

His eyes immediately widened when he found Alden lying near the sofa. Annabelle immediately screeched to call Alden's name but the man did not move.

There was a wound on his temple that seemed to have been hit by broken glass not far from Alden. Annabelle hurriedly took the phone and dialed Raka's number.

Anxiety instantly filled Annabelle's heart. He lifted Alden's head and spread it over his thigh.

Annabelle could only cry while waiting for Raka to come. Worried about Alden's fainting spell, Annabelle calls Daddy Wira.

Daddy Wira who was still in the office was talking to Om Juan and Reno rushed to Alden's room and decided to take his son to the hospital.

Annabelle did not say a word, only tears kept flowing down her face.

“Alden had to be operated on because of the condition of his bones back cracked and broken. It looks like he fell twice,” Daddy Wira explained to Annabelle after talking to a doctor at the hospital.

“Then why Alden passed out, Dad ?” ask Annabelle.

”Doctors have confirmed it not because of the impact, but because it endured a fairly severe pain until Alden fainted.”

“Dad, Alden can heal again right ?” asked Annabelle with a teary face.

Daddy Wira immediately hugged Annabelle and patted the girl on the shoulder.

“We wish Alden all the best, Darling.”

Annabelle could only cry in the arms of Daddy Wira. His regret became even more pronounced, making Annabelle shrivel.

“Nona Annabelle ?” a nurse came out of the ER room calling Annabelle's name.

“Mr Alden wants to see you,” the nurse said as Annabelle approached her.

Annabelle nodded and followed the nurse to Alden's bed still lying in the ER room, waiting for the operating room.

Alden smiled as he saw Annabelle walking towards him with tears still unwilling to stop.

“I'm sorry, Alden. I should have come to your house this morning and not left you alone for too long.”

“It's not your fault, Belle. I pushed myself too much when the doctor did not allow me to use my feet.”

“I'm sorry, Alden,” Annabelle repeated the sentence while holding Alden's weakly outstretched hand.

“Belle, I love you, never doubt my love,” Alden said in a soft voice. “Your questions will be answered soon if I am healthy again.”

“Don't think about it, Den. The doctor will operate on your leg. Just think about your health first and my questions are not important to answer.”

“Belle,” Alden tried to tighten his grip but his strength was not as strong as usual.

“Never doubt my love, Belle. I really love you. My prayer is expecting you to wake up from a sincere coma from my deepest heart. The feeling that I had been hiding and continuing to deny I could not bear anymore because it was more frightening to lose

yourself.”

Alden's breathing panted slightly until Annabelle placed her index finger on Alden's lips.

“Save your energy, Den, don't think about it. We'll talk later after you get better and don't worry I'm not going anywhere, won't leave you alone again.”

“Belle,” Alden clasps Annabelle's index finger against her lips.

“Never doubt my love and don't stop loving me, Belle. Only your love can be my encouragement at this time. Only your love can give me life until I don't breath anymore.”

“I know, Den. I trust. Calm your mind at this time so that the operation can run well. I will wait for you to recover and will not stop loving you.”

Alden smiled and let go of his grasp as the nurse asked Annabelle to wait for Alden outside as the man was about to be taken to the surgery.

Annabelle complied and exited the ER room, waiting for Alden's gurney to be taken to the operating room. Besides Daddy Wira, there was Om Juan and Raka while Mommy Lanny was on her way to the hospital.

10 Minutes later the ER door was wide open and 3 nurses took Alden out of the room to the operaai room on the 3rd floor.

“Sepentar sister.”

Annabelle, who was standing next to Daddy Wira, approached Alden, who was still conscious but looked weak.

“I love you, Alden and will be waiting for you here,” whispered Annabelle while kissing Alden's cheek.

Alden just smiled and blinked his eyes at Annabelle's words.
