Smile for Annabelle

Alden woke up early today, getting ready in casual clothes made Mommy and Daddy frown.

“You didn't go to the office today ?” ask Daddy Wira when his son says hello and sits together at the dinner table.

“To the office, Dad, after meeting the future son-in-law of Mommy and Daddy,” said Alden with a face sumringah.

“Who else do you want to make a wife candidate ?” ask Mommy Lanny while squinting.

“Stupid of Mommy and Daddy,” says Alden smile-smile.

Mommy Lanny looked at Daddy Wira who shrugged both of her shoulders.

“Indeed Annabelle already wants to accept you as her future husband ?” ask Mommy Lanny.

“Besides effort, Mommy and Daddy prayers are very much needed today. I go first.”

“Al, your breakfast is just a little,” said Mommy Lanny when she saw Alden had left the dining room.

“Better wait than late, Mom,” Alden blinked one eye while laughing before leaving his parents.

“It's great to see Alden really falling in love with the right woman,” Mommy Lanny said.

“We wish Alden and Annabelle all the best, darling,” Daddy Wira clasps his wife's fingers and kisses her lovingly.

Mommy Lanny just smiled while nodding.

While Alden who went without a driver and Raka directly to the flower shop, took orders for Annabelle's favorite rose and magrit flower arrangements.

His face seemed to grow happier as he occasionally kissed the flowers he was carrying. Her heart was anxious to think of Annabelle who was still hardening her heart and letting hate flourish in her heart.

At 8:05 Alden's car was already on campus. The flower arrangement was left in the car and will be given to Annabelle after the girl is willing to talk to her in the car.

Alden held onto his chest that was pounding incoherently. He smiled to himself, it was like this to be in love. Even when he liked Sarah, Alden never felt this kind of thump.

There is regret in Alden's heart that once ignored the spark that often messed up his feelings until he chose to be rude to Annabelle so that the girl away from him.

At the same place, Sisi who had just handed over some report assignments immediately approached Annabelle who was talking to some of their friends.

Annabelle and Sisi take a break from their friends and unknowingly Annabelle just follows where Sisi takes her.

Sisi just laughed and took Annabelle up to the campus gate.

“Eh where are we going?” Annabelle frowned as the two had already passed through the campus gate.

“Cobain cafe that just opened up in front,” Sisi pointed with his chin towards the building across the street.

“Ogah Si, so crowded,” Annabelle refused to cross the road.

“We try to see first,” Sisi directly put on a face with his puppy eyes.

Annabelle sighed and finally followed Sisi's invitation, crossing the road to the cafe that was starting to get crowded.

Annabelle's steps stopped when she saw Alden standing not far from the cafe building.

“Don't say..” Annabelle immediately glared at Sisi.

“Sorry, but please give Mr. Alden a chance. He promises this run out will not bother the elo because it has to settle in Germany.”

Annabelle squinted her eyes then frowned when she heard Sisi's explanation.

“There is work. Mr. Alden decided to stay there for a while, except for Elo who asked him to stay here,” Sisi said with a smile.

Annabelle sighed and finally complied with Sisi's request. Alden who got a signal from Sisi immediately walked over while Sisi directly walked into the cafe.

“How are you Belle ?” Alden looked awkwardly standing in front of Annabelle.

“Thank you for coming to see me.”

“Can't if you don't tell people ?” annabelle's tone still sounded sniffy.

“Have to meet you straight away, Belle,” Alden laughed awkwardly. “But no one knows where you live, my number is blocked again and you never want me to meet.”

“Keep why maksa ?”

“I just want to apologize again before I leave, Belle. Even though you don't want to answer yes, I can at least say it before I go far. Afraid if I don't have another chance to say sorry to you.”

Annabelle looked up, looking at Alden with brow turned.

“I'll go to Germany and settle while there. The original plan was only 6 months, but did not know how it developed. At least I can meet you once again before going far.”

Annabelle threw away her face, unable to see Alden's smile. There was a sense of unease whenever Alden said the word go far.

“Belle, can you come with me to the campus parking lot for a while ?” pinta Alden holding Annabelle's arm.

“Why again ?” ketus Annabelle's.

“Please your hand, I can still walk alone and know where the parking lot.”

Alden smiled and let go of his hand, walking behind Annabelle with a smile. Her heart hoped Annabelle would be moved to receive a flower arrangement from her.

Annabelle sped up her pace to make their distance a little far apart, but it was no problem for Alden who was already happy because Annabelle complied with her request.

Alden's smile was cut off when he saw a car at high speed start moving and his eyes immediately turned to Annabelle who was 5 steps away from him.

“Annabelle !” meek Alden while running after Annabelle and push the girl's body until Alden was hit by the car.

The side who had just come out of the cafe with 2 glasses of drink immediately screeched at the incident and reflexively threw 2 glasses of his drink.

Alden's body floated and was thrown towards the back of the car.

“Don't let the driver run away !” shouted Sisi who was immediately responded by the students who were around.

The car was stopped and two students forced the driver to open the door.

Annabelle who fell down immediately helped stand by some students and Sisi approached him.

“Elo is okay ?”

“Alden,” hiss Annabelle.

The two girls were shocked when they passed by the car and found Sarah being forced out of the car.

“Crazy women !” snapped Side.

Annabelle ignores her dealings with Sarah and runs up to Alden who is lying on the street with a bloody head.

“Please call an ambulance,” pinta Annabelle who immediately rests next to Alden and lifts the man's head over his lap.

“Alden,” Annabelle started crying and touched the back of Alden's head that was still bleeding.

Alden opened his eyes for a moment and smiled at Annabelle.

“Hold Den, don't give up,” pinta Annabelle in between sobs.

The side that was just approaching closed its mouth to see Alden's condition.

His hand immediately picked up the phone and contacted Raka, telling her about the events that Alden experienced including the problem of Sarah who became the hitman.

Annabelle continued to cry as officers carried Alden into the ambulance.

“Belle,” Sisi holds Annabelle's hand when her best friend wants to get inside the ambulance.

“Primate Hospital, Belle. The team of doctors there has been prepared to deal with Alden.”

Annabelle simply nodded and sat down beside Alden who was already unconscious.
