Will Never Let You Go

Will Never Let You Go
Nostalgic

Everything went according to what Darma wanted. Ara opened her eyes in the room was already brightly lit by the sunlight. The shock was clearly visible on his face. His forehead frowned when he could not find the phone and the alarm clock that should be on the nightstand. The only way he knew what time it was now was to ask the man sitting on the sofa watching him. And if his minus eyes are not mistaken, the corner of the man's lips actually lifted.

Ara let out a long breath before with shackled doubts, venturing out to ask, "Mas, what time is it?"

Darma turned on his phone, then replied, "Nearly nine and a half."

"Huh?" Ara gawking at the bed. Brain lag. "Silver? His school?"

The woman hastily uncovers the blanket and descends from the bed with the intention of heading to her son's room. However, before his hand managed to grab the doorknob, another wider hand held him back.

"Shila has left for school. You don't have to worry."

Ara increasingly does not understand why waking up so confusing like this. This was also the first time he woke up late. Usually, his ears are never absent to hear the alarm that is installed before going to bed. Ah, alarms! It seemed that this morning the reminder did not wake him, and now his phone is out of nowhere. Is there a thief coming in and stealing some things in his house? If so, why did Darma show a relaxed look?

"I'm sorry I woke up late." Ara did not know why that sentence came out of her mouth.

"You're not wrong so don't apologize. Better take a shower now because after this I'll take you away."

"Aren't you at the office?" The woman remembers that it was Monday.

"A day off doesn't make you poor, does it?" Darma smiled witfully. The smile that felt like a long time ago was not seen by Ara. Seeing his wife still flinching, the man led Ara to the bathroom.

While checking the incoming electronic mail through his phone, Darma waited for Ara to finish getting ready. The man raised his face as his wife's footsteps approached.

"I don't know where to go. So, is this okay?"

Darma observes his adorable looking wife in a light blue dress on her knees. The curvature of the smile accompanied by a nod became the answer. He then grabbed the car keys and took his wife to go down to the first floor.

Ara's heart was pounding. Either longing or it is true, but he can breathe if the body aroma of her husband is more fragrant than usual. Ara exhaled softly as Darma opened the door for her. It felt nervous earlier Darma smiled briefly at him. It's like a girl who will be invited on a first date.

When the car had gone, Ara became curious as to where Darma would take her. The road they walked was like going to their parents' house. Ara turned her head and was eager to ask, but Darma who looked like a henchman behind the wheel made her undo the intention.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Finally a sentence came out of the man's mouth.

"Whatever."

Mangosteen darma. Again, the things he planned went well. He turned his car into a fast food restaurant and bought food in a drive-thru manner.

The weirdness again ambushed Ara. Five years better know Darma, never once the man had breakfast with a menu of junk food.

"Eat, gih." The man handed the cheeseburger to his wife, while the other food he put on the dashboard.

Next to Ara who is now enjoying a burger awkwardly, Darma suddenly stops his car in front of the restaurant, just before entering the highway. "You know what? I used to carelessly think of girls as motorcycle taxi drivers here."

Ara choked on the bread with meat and cheese in her mouth. Darma immediately picked up a drink and wiped the corner of his wife's lips that were hit by the sauce. "Pelan eat it. No Ashila asked" he said, chuckling.

Darma's running his car back. Accompanied by the band's song Naff, they continue their journey. Sometimes Ara glanced at Darma who was now chewing a burger with a straight look staring at the street. He kepo, whether buying breakfast at his workplace first is accidental or already planned.

After drinking the cola and burping, Darma's index finger suddenly pointed at the tallest building visible to the right of the street. "You see that building? The Coriander Hotel. In front of the hotel lobby, I had a debt with the girl because my wallet was left behind in a broken car. Fortunately he wanted me to give him a guarantee of a scuffed business card, but strangely he did not contact me. Probably aware of times, yes, put the tariff height. Very expensive, right from the restaurant to there hit six hundred thousand? Well, he said it was, uh, three hundred. But I promise I'll replace it twice. But it's expensive, right?"ask the man for an opinion.

Ara cleared her throat low with her lower lip bitten to hold back a smile. His cheeks looked even more red considering those times. When he felt his expression was mediocre, he replied, "The name of the person kepepet if you want cepet you have to spend more money."

Darma nodded his head. The beautiful smile engraved on her lips was forced to be disguised due to the intense gazes of the woman next to her.

A guitar quote from the intro of Pink Sweats' "At My Worst. The destination of the man this time was the mall. "Well, it's not open yet" said Darma disappointed to find his destination still closed. With a heavy heart, he did not turn the car and chose the road.

Ara gave a smile, then looked at the streets so as not to see her husband who was looking at her.

"It was a historic place" Darma said.

"Oh, huh? Why?" Ara started following the game of the white-tailed man beside her.

"I met the girl again and like karmic, she was confused because her wallet had no time to pay for a movie ticket." Darma laughed for a moment. As soon as his laughter subsided, he continued saying, "But, since I am good, I pay you, deh. We'll watch together. Funny again when I bought it to drink popcorn as payment of debt, his face so red. She was embarrassed, yeah. Haha ...."

Damnit damnit! It's been a long time, but it's still embarrassing to remember. Ara also took a few pieces of fries and ate them. Presumably his busyness chewing food was a little useful in covering up his embarrassment.

"But, I was happy, because from there we became acquaintances. I anterin return him to his house because it was raining heavily," said Darma. A fluffy smile adorned her beautiful face.

After taking the remaining fries and eating them. The man's lips then muttered the song lyrics that were still melodious.

No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth

'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first

And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

"We'll see you here again." Darma pointed to a mall located to the left of the road, which had just been passed.

Ara looked back, before looking back at Darma. That was the mall where he caught Eagle going with Ajeng, after his ex-girlfriend cancelled an appointment with him.

"She was crying in my car because her boyfriend cheated on her. Pity that time his face looks like a chicken asking to be fed. As a result, I gave sushi the same as I anterin back home again, but the evil instead of being told to stop by, I was told to drop him a few meters before reaching his house!" Darma who pretended to be upset raised the speed of his car.

As if not caring about the speeding car, Ara lowered her head. Come to think of it, he used to have the heart to Darma. But remembering it now, he smiled. Were they jealous long before they were dating?

"Why smile?" tanya Darma flashed a contemptuous look.

"No-no! No one smiles. Wrong look at the times, 'you don't wear glasses, '" replied Ara sewot.

Inner Darma cheered happily. Ara started to express herself again in front of her. "Eh, near the crossroad!" He exclaimed while looking back.

"Why is it the same crossroad?" Ara turned her head.

"He fell off the bike there and blew me up. Though, my intention is good to give me bakpia, but he said I'm like someone else catcalling."

Crazy one! Ara is feeling crazy. How could Darma remember every point where their beginnings had accidentally met?

"It is true that there is a saying that says there will be wisdom from every incident."

Ara threw a clueless look. "meaning?"

"Because of the disaster, I found out that she broke up with her boyfriend." Darma closed his mouth so that his laughter would not explode. " Kayak continued to happen very coincidentally when I played to his house during the new year, it turns out that he wanted to join UMPTN. Yes, already, because my brain is watered, I volunteered to teach him and if you want more extra hours I told him to come to the actual office while in mode. Yeah, the name is people want PDKT should take advantage of the opportunity well, right?" He looked at Ara, then nodded his head. His eyes seemed to give orders for the woman to agree with what she said.

Ara nodded slowly, forced to agree. To coincide with that, Darma's car stopped at the parking lot of the director of his family's office building. Ara thought she would just wait in the car, but Darma who opened the door for her and gave her hand to hold her forced her to come along.

Entering the office, they take the elevator to the floor where Darma's room is located. The man's study room was still the same as the one that Ara had been at the first time. Although all the items have been replaced with more modern ones, the placement position has not changed at all. Ara sat on the cream sofa, where she used to wait if she came to her husband's office for lunch together.

"I'll take care of the job for a second, okay? If you are hungry, Widya told the food pesenin," said Darma who is now sitting in front of the computer.

Ara nodded. While her husband was preoccupied with the data, the woman's gaze fell down. His memory is fixed on the moment where Darma first expressed love and asked him to be a lover. There, where he is sitting now. Instantly Ara could feel that her cheeks were currently warming in the middle of the air-conditioned room.

"For what shadow?"

The female head looked up. His eyes bought in shock seeing Darma standing in front of him. When was that guy here? Wasn't he busy with the monitor?

Unanswered, Darma confidently sat down next to Ara. "Then, here I asked him to make me my girlfriend, without any preparation. But, do not know why it feels even memorable because it flows like water."

Ara mangosteen agreed, without daring to look at her husband.

Feeling anxious, Darma suddenly grabbed Ara's shoulder, pushing her back slowly until she lay on the sofa. Darma confines her, then brings her face closer and leaves only three centimeters from Ara's face. "The position is gini," he said then a kiss he spread on his woman's forehead.

Kruyuk

Darma's eyes turned to his wife's flat stomach. While Ara instantly turned her face that was already flushed red.

"The girl also said she was not hungry, but her stomach even told her," said Darma, then straightened her body. "What do you want to eat?"

"Come," answered Ara.

Darma's crisp laughter filled the room. Unable to see the adorable behavior of his wife, he hugged Ara and rubbed the top of the woman's head.

Afterwards, Darma asks her secretary to order food and takes her to her room. After eating fried duck H. Slamet, Darma and Ara get out of the office building.

The couple's journey continues. It felt like all the places about their memories had already been passed, then where else was Darma headed? Ara felt impatient after decades of traveling around Solo City.

"Do you want ice?" ask Darma when they are in the Gedhe Market area.

"Still full. Next time."

Darma was a little disappointed because he actually wanted to drink the legendary ice dawet, but if Ara did not want it might be good next time.

"After being with him, this place became our first date because it was really fitting again there were lanterns," said Darma when his car turned at Tugu Jam.

"Well, you want a date at that kayak place? Don't you like to go to fancy places?" tanya Ara challenged.

"You, lah. I'm the one who's preaching. Seneng knows look at people on happy. Moreover, I came with a new boyfriend."

"If the same thing that used to be?"

"Forget. It's been a long time."

Spontaneously Ara pursed her lips. Not satisfied with her husband's answer. Darma raised his shoulders indifferently, deliberately not seducing his wife to be upset. He focuses on the streets that this afternoon look crowded smoothly. There is only one place left, then after that Darma can breathe a little relieved.

Ara looked to her right and left to make sure that Darma took her to the man's apartment. "Why did we come here?"

"Rest."

Ara asked again, Darma had gotten out of the car. As the man had already opened the door for her. Darma's hand clasped his hand to enter the lobby until he finally arrived at the man's apartment unit. Nothing special there. Same with the room where Ara is now. The woman was still standing, while Darma was already sitting on the bed.

"Here was the last time I saw him before I went to London for S2." Darma's gaze circulated to all corners of the room. "We were planning to go to Jogja for a culinary because it was my birthday tomorrow, but unfortunately it was not realized. I was sick and suddenly Oma came to tell me that I had to go. I really don't know what to do especially after I got in an accident."

The long breath sounds clear. Ara could see if her husband's face was now holding back tears. He slowly walked closer and almost knelt down to look at the sad face, but Darma did not allow it.

The man asked her to stand up, as well as her now. "I've been hurting him for years and a few days ago I repeated the same thing."

"Maas ...." Tears have spread. Ara's two hands now held Darma's hands cupping her cheeks. "You can't blame yourself."

"How could I not blame myself? I told you you were a no-no until we lost our future son. Tell me what do I have to let you excuse me? I'm definitely gonna do it, but don't ask me to leave."

"I don't know what to do either" replied Ara. The feeling of tightness that had been held back since yesterday and only evaporated when alone slowly he showed in front of Darma. Ara was sobbing with her head down. "I've been wrong, but I'm not a cheat. Remembering the accusation, my heart aches. You go that way, without even bothering me first. Maybe in the future I will also make mistakes again who knows what, but do not rule out the possibility that one day I can be the best version of myself, right? You who have never done anything wrong make me feel unworthy of you."

Ara lifted her head. His wet eyes met Darma's watery eyes. For a while, the two silently looked at each other and let their eyes do the talking.

Darma's slow sobs made Ara get a sudden hug from the man. This was the second time her husband cried in her arms. Long enough, there might be ten minutes of them in that position then the hug came off.

"I'm very jealous" I'm Darma. They are now sitting on the edge of the bed facing each other. "I'm sorry that my jealousy tormented you. After you said kayak earlier, I realized that everything I have does not make you happy. I'm afraid .. I can't see you near another guy. I feel like I'm gonna get mad why are you hurting me?"

"I'm sorry, Mom."

Quickly Darma shook his head. "You're not wrong, I can't control myself to the point of being fatal. I'm sorry I miscarried you."

"It wasn't your fault. Stop wronging yourself. I don't want to hear you apologizing every night."

"You know?" tanya Darma was unable to hide her shock.

"Yes, I remember all your words. Mum ...." Ara took the initiative to hold her husband's hand. "Actually, before the miscarriage I was under stress. And after knowing pregnant, I also realized that it turns out that I did not have a session to get pregnant again in this fast time, that's why I want you to be the first to know and hope you can be sure that I can definitely get through this with you. But, it turns out that God wills another."

"I told you, I'm fine with just one child."

In the condition of the face is still puffy, Ara tried to review the smile. "I am nothing. I also want to have Ara version of a guy who is similar to me, just maybe not too ngoyo."

"Yes, you don't have to worry. Your husband is still strong, too."

"Are you old?" tanya Ara teased.

"By!" Darma's eyes glared sharply.

"What?" Amidst the tears returning to flow, Ara laughed happily.

"Snake!"

"If not naughty not his wife Mr Darma, dong?" the woman was getting more challenging.

Feeling that his wife's anxiety level had reached an acute level, Darma hugged Ara tightly until their bodies fell on the bed. The distance is too close to make the two can feel warm breath with each other. Their lips reveal a smile. For the second time, on this day Darma close his face hoping to feel the sweet lips of his wife. However, not even the lips were attached, the ringing of the phone seemed to prevent it.

Darma clucked bitterly, while Ara only smiled mockingly at the annoyed face of her husband. The woman followed and attached her ear to Darma's phone. There was the voice of Mama Selly who told her that Ashila was fussy and wanted to meet her mother.

"Ashila ...," said Darma deliberately hanging.

"We'll pick him up. Pity has been left for so long."

Darma agreed. They wake up and dress each other. Darma slipped Ara's hair behind her ear, before extending her hand.

They join hands out of the apartment and when Darma's hand is already holding the doorknob, the man first tilts his head to steal a kiss from Ara.

"I love you most ardently" he whispered right in the wife's ear.
