The smell of alcohol was sharp in one of the private rooms of a cafe filled with five men. Sitting in a corner accompanied by a cigarette tucked in his index and middle fingers, only occasionally Darma greeted his four friends who were chatting.
"Aldo is now cemen, yes. Don't dare to drink much" joked Joni who was half drunk.
"Pity Imelda later," Aldo replied without shame.
Hendri mangut-mangut understand. "That means Yovan brags again."
Yovan did not respond. The thin mustachioed man chose to take a bottle of whiskey and drink it straight away.
Joni chuckles. "I don't want to get married."
"Someone wants to be the same." Darma chimed in, then followed in Yovan's footsteps, chugging whiskey.
A bottle almost floated on Darma's head if Aldo hadn't prevented Joni's hand from throwing it. Among those five people, it was arguably Joni who was the most dilapidated. Likes changing girlfriends, check-in with women, and once committed an act of violence to one of his ex-girlfriends. If Aldo says, well, "My sins are counted as only 0.05% of Joni's sins."
Back Darma downed his drink to the toilet. Even though that was the case, in fact his mind was still fixed on Ara. Yes, Darma thought about the woman, his wife. Why did I repeat the same mistake? Why did Ara hurt him?
Darma coughed because he choked when he wanted to drink the second bottle. "**!*!" swearing while patting his chest.
"Kalem, Bro, don't hurry. I'm interested again if less." Yovan patted his friend's shoulder.
Darma who felt uncomfortable getting rid of Yovan's hand violently. Now replace cigarette smoke soaring high out of the man's mouth and nose. Darma himself forgot when was the last time he felt this stressful. He ruffled his hair in frustration.
"Anj!ng! I want to go back now!" darma exclaimed as he stood up, and made the others quite shocked. I don't know why she feels bad. Darma is worried about Ara. Presumably his choice to leave without hearing his wife's explanation was the wrong decision.
Darma grabs the keys to his car regardless of the babble of his friends who explode or worry about him coming home drunk. "I'm not drunk!" he said, holding his right thumb.
The condition is already terrible in fact does not prevent Darma to keep running his car to the house. His mind which is now only filled with Ara and Ara makes him forget that the accident in London a few years ago made his physical not as strong as before. Darma stepped on the gas pedal deeply and finally he got out of control and made his car hit a large tree on the side of the road.
At the same time, Ara who locked herself in the room until she fell asleep—after asking Bi Marni to hold Ashila— woke up with a limp body and tremendous pain in her stomach. And how surprised he was when standing blood had soiled the bed sheet and was still flowing from his groin.
Ara directly held the nightstand to support her body which instantly trembled. Tears have run down his cheeks. Ara sobbed with extreme fear first realizing that she was alone in the room.
Ara wanted to scream for help, but her weak body made her unable to speak. Because he did not want to die silly, slowly he stepped his feet. The dripping blood soaked the white marble floor which made it look very contrasting.
The woman's breath gasped as she made it out of the room. Ara cried again when she saw the stairs that she had to climb one by one to get to the first floor to get to Bi Marni's room. The only person in the house who could help him.
Cold sweat ran down his temple. Ara's face was already very pale considering the blood that came out was very much. A long gust of breath was heard many times, just a few more steps he reached his maid's room.
Ara's body slumped right in front of the door. Nah! Ara did not faint. He is still conscious and is now pounding Bi Marni's room with the rest of the energy.
It didn't take long, the door opened. Bi Marni was surprised to see her employer sitting in front of her room. However, what made his eyes successfully dilate perfectly was when he saw blood splattered on the floor.
"Non Ara, why, Non?" tanyanya panic.
Ara simply shook her head with her increasingly firmer cries. Bi Marni cried to see him. Reflexes, he hugged Ara.
"Sa-I call Mr. Surip. We're going to the hospital, yes, Non," he said still in a position to hug his employer.
Ara just nodded. Feeling that he had managed to get help, he smiled faintly before finally his gaze turned dark.
