33. Thank You For The Wounds

Flashback Continuation

"Edgar let's go. PLEASEEE!!" With the remnants of energy, I invited Edgar to leave this place. Edgar, who was aware of my condition, immediately agreed to take me away from here.

"Bec ... Ta wait, I can clear everything Ta." A hand I knew held my wrist, forcing my steps to halt.

"YOU'RE MORE THAN LU BRENGS*K??!! ISN'T THAT ENOUGH FOR MY BEST FRIEND??" Back Edgar ignited emotions and grabbed the collar of Brother Felix's shirt.

Unlike before who was silent, this time Brother Felix gave resistance by releasing the grip of Edgar's sturdy arm, until he was released from Edgar's catch. Brother Felix then walked towards me and grabbed both of my shoulders, so that I could face him.

"All is clear, brother, I've heard it all." I said with the roar of tears flowing back, as I looked into his eyes. The man who's been filling my heart for months, has been battered full of bruises. On that handsome face, fresh blood flowed from his left temple and the corner of his right lip.

Brother Felix shook his head, hinting that the reality I heard earlier was not the whole thing that happened. He even tried to wipe away the tears that ran down my cheek, but this heartache that ruled my heart, made me turn my face so that he could not touch.

"No Ta!! It's not like that. Please give me a chance to talk, I'll explain this misunderstanding Ta." He looked at me like it was so deep. He took both palms of my hands and held them with tenderness.

If usually yesterday I feel great happiness, somehow the grip of Brother Felix at this time, makes me feel like the most stupid human being in the world. Stupid because they feel happy, even though it is only a toy of someone. A terrible pain gnawed at my heart.

With the rest of the energy, I pulled my palms, which were still held firmly by Brother Felix to escape. Surprisingly, Brother Felix was a little jolted in shock because of that. He was still trying to grab my hand once more, but before that happened, I dodged it first.

I found a pushy look in both of Felix's eyeballs, but this time I couldn't believe what I was seeing right now. Those eyes fooled me for months. The look I thought was full of love turned out to be a fake.

The face that for the first time was moistened with teardrops, plus the look of eyes that were so sad, made my heart soften for a while. But the memory of how their conversation I heard behind the door, made me again skeptical and prefer to believe, that it was just acting alone Felix Dwinson.

Whether the courage from which it came approached me, I ended my relationship with him. Just five minutes into the car, Edgar pulled the car over in front of a roadside minimarket. Without saying anything, he got out of the car and entered the minimarket. Not until 5 minutes, Edgar had come out of the minimarket with a plastic bag.

"Drink first ll be relieved." Edgar handed him a bottle of mineral water and also a new packet of tissue that he had opened. I took some tissue, wiped away the tears that had soaked my cheeks, and then drank the water that Edgar had given me.

And rightly said Edgar, I felt a little more relieved. Water that is attached to a calming meaning, seems to really make people who drink it also calm down. Edgar just kept quiet watching as I drank. He did not drink anything, but Edgar also actually needed water to relieve emotions, after beating Brother Felix.

"If you're still angry, get angry Gar. Please don't be in the pendam. I accept all your anger." My words resigned, because I can catch Edgar trying to dampen his anger, which is clearly still piling up.

His words spilled all the chunks of his heart, while grasping tightly at the steering wheel, as if pouring out his anger against the inanimate object that did not know anything.

I couldn't answer anything, but just a teardrop, which rolled back down. I realized what Edgar said from the beginning, it's real now. Brother Felix proved to be exactly what Edgar accused of.

"BRENGTH!! You should have told me, beat people to pieces!! BRENGS!! SET*N!!" Edgar, who was still emotionally wrapped, hit the steering wheel several times, like he was beating Felix Dwinson's face.
