The Police
Chapter 14's

The Regitta held a press meeting with reporters from various media outlets. "The person who killed detective Haris, commissioner Erwin, and commissioner Dani has been found. He runs away while being chased by detective Nativa and gets hit by a car. The suspect's body has been returned to his family. We all mourn the passing of our seniors, Mr. Haris, Mr. Erwin, and Mr. Dani."

After that, Regitta ended his speech and returned to the office.

"Are you doing the right thing?" Ask Fernan.

Regitta. "Let's go, don't worry me more."

A policewoman entered the room, without knocking on the door first. "Regitta Commissioner Mr. Robi is rumored to have died early this morning in the hospital, due to being shot in the neck."

Regitta rounded her eyes. "Reza! Andie! Hurry up to prevent this news from being spread by the media!"

Andi and Reza nodded. "Ready, Commissioner."

"How did this happen? What happened to the police there? Where are Nativa and Bayu?" Ask Regitta.

"They're in Jakarta, they're the ones reporting this."

Regitta looked at Fernan. "Fernan, come with me to Jakarta."

Fernan.

On the way, Regitta looked worried.

"Gitta, what have you done in the past?" Ask Fernan.

Regitta. "What do you mean?"

"Pradif said, what he did was the same as what you did. So, what are you doing? Why would Pradif know?"

Regitta. "Please, I've forgotten that."

Fernan hit the steering wheel. "For the first time I've seen you like this. You haven't worked with professionals lately. What's wrong with you?!"

"Don't scold me! My head is full now!"

"Well, after all this is done, you have to tell me."

Bayu sat beside Tiva. A white bandage wrapped around the man's burly arm. "We got what Pradif wanted. So, he has to testify to the murder of Mr. Haris and Mr. Erwin."

Tiva breathed a heavy sigh. "How is it?"

Bayu shows Tiva the voice recording. The girl nodded. The man turned on the tape.

"It's all my fault, Nativa."

"meaning?"

It was the sound of a recording of their conversation with Robi.

"If we open the case of Jidan Anggara by uncovering the crime of Mr. Robi and his partner, Pradif will admit his actions. These two hard cases are coming to an end and things are going to go back to normal." Bayu persuades Tiva.

The girl looked at Bayu. "What about the gangsters? They'll just laugh at this case, where the cops kill each other, suspect each other, and take each other down."

Bayu ruffled his hair in frustration. "How should we go? Break into gangster headquarters in Singapore and arrest them?"

Tiva looked at Bayu. "Good idea, that way this case can really be closed."

They stopped arguing, when they saw Fernan and Regitta coming.

"Where is Mr Robi?" Fernan asked, while Regitta barged into the morgue.

Tiva and Bayu bowed.

Regitta went back to the three of them. "The two of you went on a mission of your own without my permission, what if you get hurt?!"

"We're fine, we're worried about Mr. Robi, sorry, we couldn't save him" Bayu said.

Regitta nibbled his temple. "After this, the police chief will not hand the case over to our team. It's all over. We will definitely be given a sabbatical and replaced by another team."

"We will close the case" Bayu said, handing over Robi's voice recording.

Tiva looked at Bayu with an expression of disbelief. Bayu turned to Tiva while nodding.

"What's this?" Ask Regitta.

"Recording recognition of Mr. Robi to us," replied Bayu.

Regitta.

"Surge!" Tiva hit them and then passed.

"Tiva! Nativa! Where are you going?!" Ask Fernan.

Pradif has heard the news about Robi's death. "The gangsters seem to have already acted. After Robi, they must have kissed me. I'm the next target."

The man took off his white shirt, leaving only the black boxer. He threw his body into bed. Sound from the window. Pradif. He got up and walked to the window.

When the curtains were exposed, suddenly someone from outside hit the window glass with a hard object until it broke.

Pradif was surprised and put up with. The man hid under the bed.

Two men dressed in all black entered with rifles in their hands.

Pradif glanced at the drawer. The gun is there. ******* this, why do you have these nights?

Suddenly the door opened with gunshots. Through under the bed, Pradif could see that coming from the door was a woman.

On that occasion, Pradif came out and took the gun out of the drawer. The woman who came was Tiva. He saw Pradif take the gun out of the drawer. From the outside, there was a sniper aiming at Pradif.

"Revelation!" Tiva pulled Pradif's body and brought him to the stand. The sniper's shot missed the bed.

Pradif immediately got up and shot the sniper down. Tiva breathed a sigh of relief. Suddenly Pradif pushed him into the bed and put a gun to the girl's neck.

"What are you doing here?"
