The Police
Chapter 12's

Regitta ruffled his desk until the objects on the table fell to the floor.

Fernan and Bayu did not dwell, so did Tiva.

Regitta turned to look at Tiva. "Why did you do it?! Why did you make your own decision?! I won't let you open the case!"

Tiva looked resentfully at Regitta. "I don't need your permission, Commissioner. I'll do it myself."

"Jidan Anggara's case will be closed, as will the case of Haris and Erwin!" Regitta Snap.

"What?" Tiva did not believe in the decision made by Regitta.

"Fernan, make his report right now, Haris, Erwin, and Dani were killed by the same man" Regitta ordered.

Tiva shook his head slowly. He looked at Fernan. "Is this the end of the case?"

Bayu. Regitta did not answer.

"Commissioner, I was very impressed with you at first, but I misjudged you." Tiva passed away followed by Bayu.

Regitta closed her eyes.

Tiva opened the car door. Bayu. "Tiva, where are you going?"

"Jakarta."

"You what?!"

"Walking to Mr. Robi, would you like to come?"

Tiva and Bayu go to Jakarta. They arrived at night in the capital.

Robi welcomed them well.

Bayu looked around. There are a lot of police there standing guard. "Looks like the police are increasing, huh?"

Robi chuckles. "Regitta is overrated. What are you guys doing here?"

Tiva looked at Robi. "Om Robi, I want to open the case of Jidan Anggara."

Robi frowned. "Why? Is there a new lead?"

Tiva. "Before he dies, Papa wants me to open the case again. No more witnesses, except for Robi."

Suddenly Robi was crying. "It's all my fault, Nativa."

"meaning?"

Robi started telling stories.

The young Dani put the bullet in the gun. "We have to take care of each other. We'll be back home safe."

Haris, Erwin, and Robi nodded. Jidan felt something bad was going to happen to them.

They sneak into the gangster headquarters to rescue the hostages.

However, outside of the plan, the five men were separated and one by one were caught. They were tortured with the hostages.

"I'll benefit a lot by having a lot of hostages, including 5 police officers" the gang leader said.

"You won't be able to kill us!" Shouted Jidan.

"You're Indonesian too, why are you doing this?" Ask Dani.

"Why? Because I want to rule the dark world in Southeast Asia."

One by one the hostages were killed in front of the other hostages. It made them all shaken.

The leader of the violent gang called the Indonesian police and demanded a ransom. However, at that time there was a dispute between the five policemen.

The gang leader laughed at his hostage who was arguing.

"How much are you paying in the police? If you keep your mouth shut, I'll give you everything you want and return you safely."

"You think we're dogs?!" Jerk Jidan.

Jidan fell down with blood flowing from his head. The one who saw it was surprised, it turned out Robi who shot Jidan in the head.

Dani nodded in disbelief.

"Just surprised me. Oh right, this is an offer from detective Robi, besides the dead man, you can go home safely."

Erwin punched Robi in the face. "What do you do *******! You betrayed us and killed our partner!"

Robi fight. "I want to go home and see my family! If I die here, they will bear the burden of my debt! You guys don't understand! When I asked you for help, did you help me?! Nah! You are selfish to each of you! *******!"

The gang leader chuckled at that. "You are all equally despicable, why insult each other. Now go home, bring the body. Leave your account number."

Tiva froze hearing the story. Bayu shakes in disbelief.

"I felt guilty, killed my friend, ate the ill-gotten money, and now my friends are being dragged away by my selfishness. They left first because of me."

"It's only right that if Pradifta kills them, you killed his father yourself, I think the gangster's chief killed him!" Jerky Bayu.

Pradif who was still an akpol student was surprised by the arrival of his father's chest. He didn't think his father would leave so soon.

The case of Jidan Anggara's death was just closed.

It makes Pradif wonder, if it is the enemy who shot Jidan, why is the case closed? Why not catch the culprit first? And why is Jidan buried in a public cemetery, instead of eating heroes?

Pradif asked his father's colleagues for an explanation, but he was yelled at and evicted from the police station.

Pradif's mother fell ill. That made Pradif even more devastated. Shortly after, he picked up his mother. Pradif was alone until he graduated.

Holding his father's name tag, Pradif smiled. "Dad, soon I'll have this, just like Dad."

After becoming a police officer, he begged Dani, who was then a commissioner, to let Dani open the Jidan case. Dani did not allow, even when the commissioner replaced Erwin, Pradif still did not get permission to open his father's case.

At one point, he found a hint. That same month, when Dani's team returned from Singapore, Haris, Erwin, Robi, and Dani paid off all their debts. The four policemen also bought houses, apartments, cars, and more.

Questions arise in the head of Pradif. "Are they the ones who sacrificed their fathers for their own safety?"

With strong determination, Pradif managed to occupy the position of Commissioner. At that time he was desperate to do a mission alone by breaking through the border of Singapore. He managed to catch one of the Fox gang members.

That's where he got the truth.
