The Necromancers

The Necromancers
Prologues

The night felt so quiet and calm, a group of people were on the move near the northern main gate in Farihiora City.

"Are we going to make a profit today?"

"Yes. We're supposed to profit by just selling them at a great price."

In the corner of the alley, a group of people carrying carriages of horse-drawn carriages of all sorts of races were present, both arms and legs of each race were tied up using chains, they laughed out loud.

They think selling Demi-humam will make them rich.

Moreover, they would sell Demi-humans at a high price if their body condition was completely healthy, without any pain or disability in their limbs.

That is why their expressions look happy, they imagine that tomorrow, and the next days they can use as days where they spend their money for pleasure alone.

"Mother, I'm scared!"

"Don't worry, son. We'll be fine."

In the cage, a little child from the Demi-human who has a rabbit tail and ears hugs an adult woman of similar appearance to her, who is thought to be the mother of the child.

Her mother stroked her son's head gently and quietly, smiling and trying to calm him down so as not to be afraid and anxious for their whereabouts.

His mother knew they would be sold in the slave trade. Especially with the employer who will be their Master, his mother is afraid that they will be separated from each other which makes them in a difficult life rather than the ordinary life they live so far, such as; made into a slave***, used as a worker without wages, and used as a customer attractor, his mother knew that the rabbit race had advantages in her sexy body.

"After we get out of this town, we'll be rich tomorrow."

"Yes, we're going to have a full party tomorrow night."

Just as they arrived near the main gate of Farihiora City, a shadow was seen passing through the tall building that was pointing towards them.

"Not so fast, Uncle!"

"Who?"

"Tch... Who are you? Come out and don't hide!"

Behind the young-sounding voice, a group of people panicked over the discovery of their plan to capture and hold Demi-humans hostage to be traded outside the city, unbeknownst to the Royal Knights in Farihiora City.

"out? What am I doing it for?"

"You..."

"Don't think you won't come out because you're afraid of us, do you?"

"Fearful? Why should I be afraid of you?"

The voice that should have been seen was gone because of their ridicule, not disappearing as they expected, on the contrary, the voice seemed to be increasingly mocking the words of every person who tried to insult and demean the voice.

"Let me warn you one thing, Uncle, leave safely without having to face me or do you want to choose another path? The choice is in your hands!"

From behind the iron cage, a young man appeared before them.

Wearing a sinister horned iron mask, the young man walked without fear as he approached them.

"Tsk... Who do you think you are? It turns out that only a boy wants to be a hero."

"Hero? I didn't become a hero, instead, I'm just a sinner just like you guys."

"Sheap? No kidding!"

"That's right. We do it for the sake of daily living while you yourself are useless trash."

Not saying anything at their words, a glance at the iron-horned masked figure pointed it towards the night ceiling.

The moonlight that shone brightly at night, the clouds that had covered the bright moon, and the silence that was around them, were all as desired by the young man.

"A bright sky isn't it, Uncle?"

"Sunny? What do you mean—"

Not finished saying anything, the fat man with the bald head fell down lying on the ground surface.

Blood flowed from his neck. His severed head from his body, with a fearful expression on his face made anyone who saw him feel panicked and anxious at what the masked figure was going to do to them.

"To be honest I want to hold it as best I can, but you yourself didn't choose anything so I will eliminate you in an instant."

Behind the sinister horned iron mask, a pair of bright red eyes could be seen by them.

Fear, panic, anxiety, and hate enveloped their hearts and minds. On the one hand, they were afraid that something bad would happen to them. But on the other hand, they believe it's just a bluff that can be prevented and overcome with their experience of working for several years as illegal slave sellers as well as adventurers they live.

"You guys, attack him and fight him!"

"Good."

The thin and white man told his two colleagues, a fat man with long curly hair who wore armour and a large axe weapon, that he should be, and the woman carrying two dagger blades with her narrow eyes on her beautiful face, prepared to surround and finish off the life of the iron masked young man.

"I admit you have a brave soul, but unfortunately I'm not as good as you think."

Having not had time to do anything, the young man they should have attacked managed to pass through without the slightest injury.

Putting the two dagger blades on his waist, the terrifying iron masked young man looked up at the ceiling and muttered to himself.

"Goodbye, Man!"

After those words were given to the two people who attacked him earlier, their bodies were cut into pieces making blood gush out everywhere and pools of blood on the ground filled the bodies of the corpses, as well as the footprints of the young man were also visible.

"You... Are you a monster or a demon?"

"The monster? A devil? Unfortunately I don't resemble the two, on the contrary, I am a human being who has a lot of sin in myself."

Before his death came, the thin and white man was surprised at the appearance of the face behind the iron mask that the young man had shown for a moment, smiling at him while demeaning him as if insulting the existence of the man who looked terrified before him.

•••••

"Hey, did you hear about last night?"

"Early events?"

"Yes. I heard that the demon man managed to capture the illegal slave trade by killing them."

"Are the slaves locked up and held hostage gone?"

"No, they survived and were released."

Amidst the crowd present in the Adventurers Guild Hall, a man in casual clothes was sipping the warm green tea he enjoyed in the morning.

"According to the news delivered by the Royal Knights, they were released because they needed the right to live."

While listening to the talk in every place, the man without feeling uncomfortable enjoying what he is doing.

"Aren't you curious about what happened last night, Arthen?"

Just as she was about to turn the pages of her book, a girl surprised the young man who was enjoying her time by reading.

"Yes, I'm curious."

"really?"

"certain. After all who is not curious about the appearance behind the demon mask."

Removing one of the arms of the girl who stopped him from reading the book, Regard Arthen, the young man resumed his delayed reading.

The girl who knew that she was going to tell him that, sat by his side and smiled at the usual activities that Regard had been doing all this time.

"I hope they can settle down in nature there."

"Impossible. If they do good, I'm sure they've gone to heaven, and vice versa."

"You're right."

Marking the page he was reading, Regard closed his book and turned his gaze around to find out what was going on.

Every time evil is committed, men with demonic masks will obliterate their sinful lives for good.

"It really sucks huh."

"InfFECT? What do you mean, Arthen?"

"Nothing."

Standing up from his seat, Regard decided to leave the Adventurers Guild Hall undisturbed by the gazes of those paying attention to his whereabouts.

"Where are you going, Arthen?"

"I'll go finish the mission. Here, look!"

Showing a piece of paper on which every adventurer was on, the long blonde girl who followed him fell silent as she read it.

The mission itself is not an easy mission but a difficult mission. A mission that required adventurers who received it to do a search in the ruins that had not been touched by anyone.

It sounded simple and easy, but it was something dangerous for any adventurer who knew about the existence of the mission. Most of the adventurers who ignored the danger of what happened to them, they would end up tragically unknown to other adventurers.

Most of them went to do the mission, they are not seen again after doing the mission that can be interpreted they are gone.

In short, the mission that Regard received was not just any mission but a mission that could take his life in the blink of an eye if he was off guard.

"Are you sure you want to do a difficult mission like this?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Aren't you supposed to think back on doing it?"

"No need."

"Why?"

Sighing at the worry and anxiety directed at him, Regard pondered for a moment.

Holding his head, closing his eyes, and adjusting his breath, Regard felt that he had to explain it to the girl in front of him now or he would regret it.

"Listen to me, Sasaki, I do it for their benefit, other adventurers in order to explore every place without having to face the danger that awaits them."

"Are you sure you want to do it for them?"

"Yes." Yeah."

According to Sasaki, Regard's goal was noble in exploring the ruins for their benefit. The dangers that lurked him behind ignorance, unfamiliar monsters, as well as whether there were demons or not in the ruins, his goal really did not change at all.

"Can I come with you?"

"No, you're just gonna get in my way."

"That's it."

Walking in the position of bowing his head, Sasaki leaned against the chest of Regard's.

"I'm sorry if I said something that offended you."

"No. It is precisely I who should apologize to you because I want to come with you, even though I myself am still weak from you."

"I'm sorry to me?"

"Yes. Thanks to you, I can live a better life now."

Imagining his life before now, Sasaki feels his former life as a slave was released from his master by being bought by Regard.

Bargaining is done by Regard in buying Sasaki's whereabouts. Moreover, the name owned by Sasaki before is Asahi. Asahi who used to live as a slave is required to serve visitors who stop by the restaurant where he works.

The strange request requested by every customer was very unreasonable for Asahi. Starting from squeezing her breasts, holding her plump and sexy buttocks, hugging her, expressing love and dating her, and so on make Asahi live in the hell of everyday life.

If Asahi rejects her, she will be tortured by a whip by her master that will leave her body scarred over what happened that caused deep trauma over her employer's treatment of her.

But, everything has passed for Asahi.

Asahi who used to live as a slave who had been freed by Regard changed his name and new life as Sasaki.

"Thank you for your kindness, Arthen."

"Yes." Yeah."

Finished cuddling each other, Sasaki stopped him and smiled at Regard sincerely signaling that he was willing to let Regard go.

"Be careful with the search you're doing, Arthen."

"Yes, just leave everything to me."

"Yes, I leave everything to you."

Seeing the departure of Regard, Sasaki understood the greatness and advantages possessed by Regard Arthen, the savior of his life from hell as a slave.

Once several times, Sasaki was invited to adventure with Regard which made him wonder where the strength and ability of the Regard so far.

Overall, Sasaki was confused over his strength and ability to exceed reasonable limits that were different from humans in general. Moreover, there are some abilities known by Sasaki that are very deviant from other human abilities such as; healing wounds that cannot be healed, raising people who are gone, and raising people who are dead, as well as making the corpses of monsters as his protectors and soldiers, all of that was evident in Sasaki's memories that he himself still did not know how terrifying and terrifying Regard was in terms of his strength and ability.

Although Sasaki fears his existence, he still views Regard as a hero not a demon, who has changed his old life, his bleak life for the better in his new life.

•••••

The sun was so dazzling at the height of the sky accompanied by gusts of wind that blew around, and the bright weather makes anyone who moves during the day feel comfortable and calm without being disturbed by the weather.

"Looks like you're going to do it, yeah, kid."

"Stop calling me that, Uncle Veru!"

"Uncle Veru? You should have called me Veru. Do you understand?"

"Can't."

"Why can't it?"

"Because you're older than me."

Sighing deeply, Veru approached Regard who was standing at the side of the gate.

Veru, a young brown-haired Royal Knight, wore silver armor all over his body, and the sword that unfolded at his waist stopped at the side of Regard.

"Are you okay with the class you have, Arthen?"

"So far I'm fine."

"really?"

"Yes. As long as I get enough blood and flesh, the strange turmoil within my body cannot be felt at this moment.

Looking at both of his palms, Regard recalled how difficult he had been in controlling the strength and abilities he had in the past.

"Thank God then."

Patting Regard's shoulder, Veru with her little smile walked over to him and whispered something to him.

"I want you to live on, Arthen. No matter if people will hate you or not when they know you are a Necromancer, I will still be there to encourage you. Do you understand?"

"Yes, I get it. Thank you for your words."

After saying that near her ear, Veru walked past her and away from Regard, smiling lightly at her. Then he left Regard alone, still silent at his place, and waved to him as long as he stayed away from the place of Regard.

"Fight and be careful!"

The words sounded so loud that they reached Regard's ears.

Gaining his support, Regard smiled and stepped out of the main gate.
