The Marriage Of The Game

The Marriage Of The Game
50 - The Hate

..."The world is full of injustice. When you're looking for a target to hate, you hate him even if you don't know he doesn't deserve to hate."...

Damar orders Erick to follow the police officer, to provide information regarding the problems that have just occurred. He said goodbye to Damar and Aleta when he left.

Damar takes Aleta out of the building. He embraced Aleta's shoulders to lead her on, but the pedestals of Aleta's legs felt helpless. Damar immediately took the initiative to carry Aleta's body, he squatted facing his back in front of Aleta.

"All right! you're not strong enough to walk" he asked.

Aleta no longer had any choice but to need someone to help her walk. Aleta wrapped both her hands around Damar's neck and climbed up his burly back.

Damar stepped after Aleta was on his back, they left the place that was quite creepy.

In the depths of silence, they walk in the moonlight. The light of the moon became a light for both of them and the cold whirring of the night wind was blowing so that it felt piercing in the bones.

Aleta strengthened her embrace and hid her face on Damar's shoulder from the wind. Damar took a quick glance from the tip of his tail, he accelerated his steps realizing that Aleta did not like the air in the forest.

There was the gurgling of river water when they reached the wooden bridge, the swiftness of the flowing water and the tweets of nature residents mingled into one so that it sounded like a soothing tone of relaxation.

"I can ask you something!" aleta.

Glances. "What?" ask Damar briefly.

"Why do you want to help me?" ask Aleta curious.

"Supporting that person must have a reason?" Damar asked back.

"You'd rather I'm tormented" Aleta said frankly.

Damar was silent long enough to think, he himself was confused why he was so panicked when he saw Aleta in danger, not even caring about himself. At that time his mind was only on Aleta, he did not want to lose the woman, trying to save her from Andreas who wanted to kill her.

"Why not answer!" aleta's Reprimands.

"No need to talk anymore! you're quite heavy," he turned Aleta's words away.

Aleta grunts a little. "You offered me your back" he replied.

"It's quiet." Commandments concise.

Aleta let out a sigh after hearing Damar's orders which were always thrown from her mouth and again Aleta nodded obediently.

"I don't know myself why I'm like this! I hate you but this strange taste takes away the hatred I have instilled in you." Inner Damar.

Damar continues to deny his love for Aleta, never wanting to say a word of like or love to himself, insisting not to believe that feeling to Aleta who is the target of his hatred.

Damar opens the car door for Aleta and also helps her set the seat belt, although Aleta initially refuses to accept Damar's help because she does not want to continue to depend on him.

"I can do it myself!" reject Aleta when Damar wants to pull the seat belt.

Damar did not answer him, he continued to attach the seat belt even though Aleta refused it. Damar turns on the heater in the car so that Aleta is comfortable, after which Damar starts to drive his vehicle carefully, because the road they will go through is rocky.

"Thank you." Aleta said briefly when the car was on a safe path and had come out of the forest area.

"What?" ask Damar who did not really hear Aleta's words because he concentrated on driving a car.

"No, I'll talk later." Aleta replied knowing the moment she said it wasn't right when Damar drove his car.

"Yes already." Reply Damar succinctly while taking a quick glance at Aleta sitting beside him.

...***...

Damar stopped his car right in front of the main door of his house, he removed the seat belt and turned his gaze towards Aleta who he saw was sleeping soundly in his car seat while leaning his head beside the window.

Damar carefully removed Aleta's seat belt because he did not want to wake her up. He could not wake her who looked so tired. It is not easy for a woman to go through a difficult time that is enough to endanger her and that is what makes Damar understand the current state of Aleta.

He opens the car door and intends to lift his body to the room, with great care Damar managed to carry Aleta. Walking through the stairs is not easy, especially Damar had to be extra strong to lift the weight of Aleta's body.

"Hufftt, Damar's spirit, let's just say you're lifting weights at the gym." Monologue when staring at the stairs that will be passed.

He had to be gentlemanly when climbing the stairs, the look of his tired face he hid so as not to be seen by Aleta who feared waking up suddenly.

Damar sped up his pace as he almost arrived at Aleta's room. He was in a hurry to put Aleta on his bed, when the threshold of his strength was at the peak of his weakness while hardening his jaw.

Damar put Aleta's body on the bed as soon as it entered the room. He breathed a sigh of relief after successfully bringing Aleta into bed.

Damar stretched his muscles while saying, "Ahh, this stupid woman is quite heavy as well huh, different from before. Ah my shoulder!" he complained while looking at Aleta who was still asleep.

Some people if they are asleep do spill their entire body, relax all the muscles so that it will feel heavier if we lift it in a state of sleep or unconsciousness.

Damar opened the shoes that were still attached to both feet, after which pulled a blanket to cover Aleta's body. Netra eyes look fixed Aleta's facial features while gently rubbing the hair to spread towards her cheeks and lips ranum.

"Good night and rest! today you look very tired" said Damar after gently peeping Aleta's forehead and about to step out of the room.

But suddenly Aleta woke up and stopped her steps by pulling Damar's little finger. As soon as Damar turned around, he saw Aleta now shedding tears on one of his cheeks.

Damar approached again and Aleta hugged Damar for the first time in a conscious state. His embrace was so tight, Damar himself could feel it.

"Thank you, because you've always been there for me even though I know you hate me so much," Aleta's heartfelt words immediately filled Damar.

It felt like he answered that he would always be there for her, but his mouth was locked tightly. Damar was not quite sure of his current feelings, as he hardened his jaw followed by his fist trying to withstand the turmoil of taste in Aleta.

Damar sharpens his eye net from behind Aleta's back, he returns to being a person who hates Aleta. Throw away her sense of caring by remembering all the worst events she experienced when losing both her parents.

Repeating the pledge that he had made in him, that he would repay all the deeds of Aleta's father and the whole family that left only Aleta alone and that means he should not like Aleta. Aleta is the son of a murderer.

The killer of his father and mother and the killer of happiness that he used to get from his parents, until finally the happiness was destroyed just by the actions of the Emir.

Damar let go of Aleta's rough embrace, to make Aleta pushed. Shocked by what Damar did, Aleta understood his attitude after seeing the look of Damar's eyes that were not as sad as last.

"Sorry."

Aleta muttered as soon as she saw Damar coming out of her room and slamming the door. He said it as a representative of the Father who has done wrong to his family, whether it is true or not.
