The Marriage Of The Game

The Marriage Of The Game
27 - Fever

..."Not that I don't like to hold hands. I just don't like it when I have to let go again. That warm feeling disappeared and made me feel like I was the only person left in this world."...

Damar laid Aleta on the bed and immediately asked the maid there to change her clothes, then Damar ordered Erick to contact Dr. Kemal, to check on Aleta's condition.

"Boss, you should also immediately change clothes, before getting the flu." Pinta Erick is worried about Damar.

"I will replace it, after the Doctor examines the woman," Damar replied staring anxiously at Aleta.

Erick handed him a towel, "Then this is, to dry your body" he said.

"How's the little girl doing?" asked Damar while rubbing his hands and face with a towel.

"The girl is in her house now. He told me how to get to know the lady. The girl said, if Miss asks him to lend her a tablet from one of her friends." Erick.

"Tablets? what's that woman borrowing a tablet for?" ask Damar curiously.

"I don't know for sure, it's just that he had a chance to see Miss open one of the boxes that read quite long words and after that Miss looks moody, he said." Erick explained in detail Ayemi's remarks.

"Box?" asked Damar while lifting the prayer one eyebrow.

"Perhaps what the little girl meant, a folder containing a file." Erick answered exactly.

"Find out everything and report to me immediately" Damar ordered.

"Good, Boss." Nod obediently.

After Doctor Kemal checked Aleta's condition, he immediately said goodbye to Damar, before finally giving a message to Damar. He seemed confused, why Aleta often experience PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

"The room, if there's time, can you come to my place?" ask Doctor Kemal.

"Yes, I'll visit." Damar replied without asking further, the purpose of the Doctor who asked him to come.

"Then I say goodbye. Remember to always take care of your wife's health." His message patted Damar on the back, before he got into the car.

"All right, thanks Doc. Be careful!" reply Damar nodded in understanding.

After escorting the Doctor to the door, Damar intends to return to his room— with clothes that have finally dried themselves in his body.

Hatchii...

Huatchiii...

Hatchii...

Damar got the flu, as a result of not washing himself to change clothes immediately, after Erick had previously given a message to him.

"It's all because of that stupid woman, if only she hadn't always bothered me, maybe I wouldn't have had the flu, CK shit!" luh Damar in the middle of his murmur.

Erick put a warm tea and a cold reliever on his desk. Damar looks so focused with the laptop in front of him, to not say Erick who asked him to immediately rest, because the clock has shown at 03:00 in the morning.

Fortunately, Erick is staying at Damar's residence tonight, making it easier for him to always monitor Damar's condition. He worried about his boss, because all he knew was that Damar never cared for himself even if it was dangerous enough for him.

Damar is a stubborn man, if you have been warned about his health problems. He was always doing well in front of everyone, although he was injured and sick—all he could cover perfectly.

"You better rest, boss." Pinta Erick looked at Damar's paled face.

"You go to sleep, I need to finish this job." Reply while focusing on staring at the laptop without turning towards the interlocutor.

"Okay, then I'll excuse you." Pamit Erick steps away, he can't force Damar if he's in serious fashion.

The sun slowly shone across the radiant line from the east and formed a pedar color like yellowish red. Its radiance spread in the crevices of dew sprinkled with sparkling pearl grains. Surya that comes to smell the leaves that begin to dry.

The morning window slowly opened, revealing a white curtain from behind the glass, revealing a solar light that impatiently wanted to burst into the room. The owner of the room, inhaling every scent of sunshine that greeted him warmly.

It seems like his condition has improved enough this morning, he looks so fit and excited about the activities today, even though he is only inside the Damar residence.

Geck..

Geck..

Aleta walked up to the door to open it. Revealing Erick standing in front of his room, made him ask a little with his whereabouts so early.

"What's wrong?" ask Aleta to the point.

"Good morning, Miss!" he said, "Have you improved?" Erick asked back.

"Yes. Why the hell?" throw questions at each other.

"Thank God then. I want to ask for help, can Miss help?" Erick had full hopes for him.

Damar was still asleep in his soft bed, apparently reluctant to open his eyes, even though the sun had warmed the room. As his body was still covered with a thick blanket and a compress towel that was attached to his forehead.

Aleta sat next to the man—looking clearly at her pale face. Unlike usual he saw Damar with a weak face like today, a face that was far from fierce.

Damar's condition, which lay weak on the bed, made Aleta feel guilty for him, because yesterday's incident made Damar do not care about the state of his body that had dropped, but he insisted on looking for Aleta to fight the torrent of rain.

Aleta learns of Damar's condition after Erick asks him to take care of Damar for a day. Had rejected his request, Erick actually revealed if Damar was sick due to his actions.

"What am I taking care of it for? isn't he able to take care of himself or is the servant here also able to serve him!"

"Miss will know for herself the answer later, if willing to replace my duty to take care of her."

"I'm busy. Besides, that guy wouldn't want me to be around him!"

"If only Miss knew, she was sick from Miss's own actions, maybe her condition would be fine at this time."

"What do you mean?"

"Trs. Damar I know never cared so much for a woman, I know she was so worried about Miss, even though her body condition was not good that night. Relief rain to save Miss who is trapped in the labyrinth, while in this house so many guards and guards, but she instead chose to come looking for you."

Aleta pensively thought of Erick's words on the doorstep of her room, before she sat down beside Damar's bed. Words that can melt his ego.

"For today only, Aleta. Tomorrow, you don't have to bother taking care of it and just think of it as your debt of revenge because he saved you." His monologue stared flatly at Damar.

...***...

He began to work on the task according to the note Erick gave him. The first task he did was, check the body temperature of Damar who then changed the towel compress.

Aleta brought the infrared thermogun close to her forehead, "Gosh, her body temperature reached 38.2 degrees!" yells.

Feeling dissatisfied with the infrared thermogun, Aleta's hand reflex checks the body temperature of Damar which is really hot.

He immediately changed his compress towel and re-attached it to Damar's forehead. The woman was filled to see the condition of Damar who was not as excited as usual.

"Mom, miss you!"

Damar was delirious, saying that sentence over and over again. Aleta tried to calm him down, so that Damar could return to rest soundly without thinking about anything.

He carefully grabbed Damar's hand and stroked the back of his hand, so that the master would stop delirious. After Damar looked calmer, Aleta stopped doing the activity.

Greb!!

Netra Aleta's eyes glared violently when Damar's hands clasped his hands tightly. He was astonished, interpreting if Damar had been awake since but reluctant to open his eyes.
