The Marriage Of The Game

The Marriage Of The Game
31 - Drowned

..."Even though time has passed, the feeling remains the same. I pretended to have forgotten it, but in my deepest heart it hurt."...

After his crying subsided, he immediately cleaned his face so as not to be visible on his eyelids. Rub the powder thinly on the area under the eyes and add a little lip tint on his lips.

"Huff, Aleta's spirit! you are strong, don't be weak. Forget all that past, now you just need to focus on living the present." His monologue.

Aleta rushed out of the room after she preached—be prepared to accept the reality of life waiting in front of her.

"Mrs. Aleta Quenby Elvina," call Kemal.

His steps came to a halt after hearing a familiar voice in his ears. Aleta turned lazily towards the wooden stick man.

"Can I talk to you for a second!" Bring along.

Thinking for a moment. "Alright," Aleta replied flatly.

Kemal and Aleta stopped in the middle of the corridor of the building, having a seemingly closed conversation. Although Aleta is actually afraid to face Kemal. Hate and resentment continued to stick in his heart, even so Aleta had to be brave, so that the man with the rod did not always look at him weak.

Aleta stared cynically as she said, "Just say, what do you want?" ketus tanyanya.

Kemal grinned. "It seems you look fine," said Kemal.

"No need for pleasantries." the reply was fierce.

"You're smart enough to make it melt" Kemal added, finishing the previous sentence.

"Stop talking nonsense, you're just wasting my time" Aleta jolted before finally trying to step up but stopped for a moment hearing Kemal's words.

"Didn't you miss your dad?" tanyanya firmly.

Aleta kept silent not replying.

"The father you once expected to come, to take you out of this place!" laughing mockingly, "Unfortunately he never once intended to see your situation, until now." His gaze stared at Aleta's back sharply.

Aleta looked to her side without looking at Kemal. "For me he's dead. There's no point in you talking about that guy in front of me, because I don't care about him." Reply Aleta firmly and then continue his steps.

"After this, I'm sure you'll come back to me to ask me the same thing." Kemal muttered grinningly watching Aleta until it disappeared from his sight.

While from a distance that is not so far away, Erick recorded the two who were talking since. He follows Kemal and Aleta when he wants to see Aleta in the infirmary, after Damar gives him orders.

...***...

Aleta stepped inside her room and closed the door as quickly as possible—malas lingered with Damar, she was angry at the man. Even his lips continued to be silenced when on the way home, not one bit to look or curse as usual.

Damar paused for a moment at the door of his room, thinking how to make Aleta sound again, even though he tasted it like a parrot if he had talked a lot.

Seeing him behave like that actually makes Damar uncomfortable, he wants Aleta who is cute and likes to argue with him, even though he does not want to admit it.

"What do I have to do to stop him from being so quiet!" inner Damar frustrated.

"What's the boss?" erick asked to see Damar who was still standing quietly in front of the door of Aleta's room.

Damar shook his head then continued his steps towards the study. Now Erick also glanced at the door of the room, seen the look of his face was thinking of something.

"Huff!"

Damar took a breath hoping that his thoughts regarding Aleta's behavior would soon disappear. Already the umpteenth time Damar was frustrated by him, his brain is now filled with the figure of Aleta.

"I would go crazy for a long time if I kept thinking about that woman! he could've made me like this, damn it!" damar's speech was slightly heard by Erick.

"What Boss? what was that talking about?" erick asked trying to clarify his hearing.

Damar. "No, it's nothing." The answer.

"Do I want to prepare warm tea?" tawar Erick's.

"No need, you can go home." Reject Damar who then ordered him to go home immediately.

Erick bowed obediently. "I'm going home." His word.

After Erick died, Damar again sighed in anger. It felt quite claustrophobic as well he kept that frustration alone. Aware of busying himself in the workspace is fruitless, Damar intends to refresh himself by soaking in the pool.

He came out of the study and stepped into the swimming pool not far from the side door of the kitchen. After changing clothes with a pajama towel, Damar quickly approached the pool. He took off his pyjamas towel and jumped straight in, having previously stretched first, to reduce the risk of injury or cramping while in the water that could harm him.

Aleta went to the kitchen to get a glass of mineral water to quench her thirst. He poured water into the glass until it was fully filled and then returned to the room, but his bead caught the pool water that moved indeterminate direction. Usually he saw the pool water was calm not rippling.

Because of his curiosity, he approached to just check. His eyes were wide open, when he found someone drowning there. The glass that had been held was released just like that, due to his shock.

Without thinking Aleta jumped into the water, trying to help someone she did not know her figure, because her face did not look so clearly in the water.

His worry grew when he learned that the figure was Damar. He saw Damar who had closed his eyes—panic and anxious mixed into one, he was afraid that the man died in the pool.

Aleta grabs Damar's hand and takes him up. With his swimming skills, making himself not so difficult to bring Damar to ride. Drawn Damar's body to successfully touch the natural stone granite.

Aleta immediately checked the man's breath and pulse, but neither responded. Quickly Aleta did first aid to him, he pressed Damar's chest with both hands. Giving resuscitation of his lungs to restore his breathing and heart condition.

Damar has not been seen giving a response, the last way he did to help him immediately. Without a second thought, Aleta pressed Damar's nose and then brought her face closer, in order to give her an artificial breath.

Almost Aleta put her lips on top of Damar's lips, the man immediately opened his eyes wide and pushed Aleta's face to immediately move away.

"You wanna kiss me?" ask Damar suddenly.

"I'm just helping you" Aleta answered frankly.

"Help what?" ask Damar again.

"I saw you drowning in there, it's only natural that I would help you. Don't think I want to kiss you" she explained.

"Basstupid, you think I can't swim!" sentak Damar's.

"So, are you lying to me?" ask Aleta to flirt.

Damar chuckled crisply and stood up to take his pyjamas towel.

Plakk!!

One smooth slap landed on Damar's face, after Aleta pulled Damar's shoulder and made the owner turn his head. He was stunned to receive a slap from Aleta's hand.

"Your behavior is not funny" snapped Aleta as she clenched her hands tightly.

The glint of his eyes was clearly reflected in Damar's vision, the woman was disappointed and angry with him. Proven his wits actually make Aleta more upset.
