The Love of Two Brothers (Collapse of the Rinjani World)

The Love of Two Brothers (Collapse of the Rinjani World)
46. Threats

Gavin was still in his place. Suddenly, he was in a dilemma after hearing his wife's words about his difficult life.

His mind was immediately thrown away imagining if he had to go through a phase that he had never thought of. Having to live a life away from all the luxuries had clearly never been dazed in Gavin's mind.

Instantly there were many shadows where he had to work hard first just to get a bite of rice that filled his mind.

His thin body and shabby appearance did not stop down the hot streets of the capital to just find a decent job for him in order to support Rinjani.

Gavin's reflex immediately shook his head quickly to dismiss the stupid thoughts he could throw away. And it certainly did not escape the sight of the girl who was increasingly astonished by his strange attitude.

"What's up, Gavin? Is there something that's bothering you?" asked Rinjani who managed to pull back her husband's consciousness.

"Ti-nothing, Jani." replied Gavin a little clumsy. Gavin immediately confirmed his sitting position. As much as possible Gavin tried to keep looking calm in front of Rinjani. He did not want if Rinjani to put suspicion on him.

However, it did not seem that easy for him to defy his wife's question, because at the same time Gavin could see his wife's gaze drawn towards him. Gavin knew that his wife was demanding an answer from him even though there was not a word that came out of his mouth.

"Forget it, Jani. Me, I was just kidding. So ... Don't think too much, okay!" before choosing to get up from his seat.

Not wanting to get another question from his wife, Gavin accidentally turned on his laptop and chose to do a task that was not really important to do.

As much as possible he must look busy in order to avoid questions that might not be answered.

But unfortunately, because someone who is being avoided it is just like a mother who is being assertive because she is being made suspicious by her own child.

It was very clear where Gavin immediately closed both eyes while clucking softly as he felt a foot move towards him.

And sure enough, just a few seconds later his wife's body had reappeared in front of his head.

Realizing Rinjani's gaze as if she wanted to eat him alive made it difficult for her to just breathe well.

And I don't know what made Gavin finally choose to look down without daring to look at his wife's face. Gavin was resigned if he had to get a scolding from his wife. What he had in mind was that he just had to behave like a child who was begging not to be punished by his mother.

Rinjani does not know where the cold and cool attitude that has been attached to her husband. Now everything seems to disappear and replaced with a funny and adorable Gavin.

It's just, like there is an urge from his heart to keep acting as if he was angry and dig up what information has been the cause of Gavin's strange attitude change.

"Say, Gavin! Are you trying to get me to live hard?" the search sounded so horrible in Gavin's ear, "Tell me, is there a problem that makes my husband's company potentially bankrupt?"

"It's not so, Jani. I'm .. I ha-"

"Ck! What's with the company's leader, hakh? why can't a Gavin Anderson answer such an easy question!" cut Rinjani fast, making Gavin not know what to behave like.

It was actually very easy for Gavin to tell what was troubling his mind. Only, he did not want to take the risk by mentioning the name of someone who is still in the heart of his wife or not.

Gavin does not want if his efforts in getting his wife's heart must be hindered because Rinjani again remembered by his former lover. While now he also knows that his wife is trying to love him and learn to accept him as a real husband. Of course Gavin did not want if all that should end by reminding Rinjani again with a figure who might have given a lot of color to Rinjani's life before.

"Already, Jani. I'm not hiding anything from you. So please forget about this and allow me to get back to work,"

"Yes, you're right, Gavin. You have to work hard to live well. You know what, Gavin? All this time I've been tired of living hard lives, so don't even think to ask me to live hard."

Degh!

"One thing you need to remember, Gavin! I could've changed my mind and left you sometime, Gavin. So, try to stay on your feet so that I have no reason to leave you, Gavin Anderson."

"W-What do you mean, Jani?" gavin's great-grandson couldn't believe what he had just heard. Didn't that sentence come from his wife's mouth?

"Ck! look, Gavin. Even to understand my words alone has made it difficult for you to think." Rinjani sneered with a faint smile, "What I said is clear, Gavin. I don't want to go back to living hard. For that, stay a great Gavin if you still want to marry a Rinjani!"

"Are you threatening me?"

"Take it like that. You can consider this a threat or a challenge."
