The Love of Two Brothers (Collapse of the Rinjani World)

The Love of Two Brothers (Collapse of the Rinjani World)
2. The departure of Rinjani's parents

"Mother, Dad!" rinjani shouted as soon as she woke up from her stupor. Even in his subconscious, Rinjani keeps calling the names of his parents. For the second time, Rinjani's tears broke down her swollen face from crying for too long.

"Why do you have to go? Why would Mom and Dad leave Rinjani alone like this? Now Rinjani has no one else. Rinjani what to do?" Rinjani continues to cry bitterly, remembering that she has no other family than her parents who left her for eternity.

His chest felt tight from having to face the bitter reality, and in his heart, Rinjani did not stop wishing that all this was just a dream. He was very hopeful that when he woke up, things would come back like this morning, where he could still be with his Father and Mother laughing happily.

But alas, as hard as Rinjani tried to reject that reality, it would not be able to change the destiny that had been set for him. Even though he was crying constantly, it would all not be able to revive his two parents.

The hospital room is a silent witness to how devastated Rinjani is because she lost both of her loved ones at the same time. Rinjani does not even care if her voice interferes with the comfort of others. Her voice filled the room with her cries that let her release all the emotions of her soul.

Losing someone who leaves without saying goodbye is more painful than those who leave with a good-bye.

Tired of crying, Rinjani tries to calm down a bit. He took a deep breath and exhaled heavily. Although Rinjani only a little hope that his sadness goes along with the air that comes out of his mouth.

"Why do you have to go, Mom? Why did you leave without taking Rinjani? I'm afraid, how could Rinjani live without you?" trying to harden.

He brushed away the remaining tears that had begun to dry up before rushing up after realizing there was only himself who had to take care of the bodies of his parents.

And sure enough, the door of the room suddenly opened from the outside with two hospital officials poking out from behind the door.

"Sorry before, Ma'am. The hospital team is waiting but no one has come to take care of the bodies of Mrs Rinjani's parents" one of the officers said in her white uniform.

"I am the only one who is their family, Sus, so I will take care of their funeral," explained Rinjani who is now a little tough.

"Alright, then Ma'am come with us to take care of the return papers. After that, the hospital will deliver Mbak and the bodies of his parents back home."

"Wait a minute, Sus. Give me time to contact someone first."

Rinjani hastily turned on her phone before her flick finger was seen dancing over her bright screen.

After some time communicating with someone, Rinjani again saved her phone before tailing the nun who was leading the way.

"Gpp, baby. Your parents are my parents too. I should have served one last time. Now you better rest so that tomorrow morning your body is good again."

"It wants maghrib. We're going home now. Pity your body for this sauce."

A smile is said on Rinjani's lips after her lover, Hendra, comforts her. Even though he knew in his heart there was still an unwilling feeling of seeing the body of the beloved old man slowly sink into the ground, Rinjani let out a long sigh then grabbed Hendra's hand which started the step back home.

"Thank you for watching me, Ndra." Rinjani said in a melancholic tone, feeling the unrelenting affection and attention of her lover. The loss of a parent makes loneliness come to him. Rinjani, who had been pampered with the affection of her parents, felt a void in her heart. He felt like something was missing from him.

"Ck! No need to say thank you, you're my girlfriend. If I don't care about you, who else will?"

"Thank you for being my girlfriend…"

"Here you go, you'll be 'mellow' again. Now it's better if you sleep. Tomorrow morning I'll come bring you some food. You be careful at home and don't forget to lock the door."

Hendra felt no heart to leave Rinjani alone at home in a state of his heart was broken. He did not want to leave him alone, but they did not have an official relationship, so Hendra could not spend the night with Rinjani without the presence of others.

"Why remain silent? You're not going home?" rinjani asked confusedly, while looking at the silent Hendra.

"It's okay. I'll wait for you to go to sleep before I go home. Now, get some sleep. It's late at night." then Hendra tidied up the blanket that was in Rinjani's arms. One hand stroked Rinjani's head gently.

"About the door lock, how about it?" ask Rinjani.

"Don't worry, I'll lock in from the outside. You have a spare key, right?"

"Alright.." said Rinjani relieved.

Shortly afterwards, Rinjani fell asleep in exhaustion and Hendra was seen looking at his lover with a increasingly grim look. It seemed, there was a feeling of being buried within the look of his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Rin. If in the future you cry it is not me who caused it.." murmured Hendra regretfully.
