The King's Beloved Empress

The King's Beloved Empress
Episode 68 (In revision)

"So..you're not mad that I'm not the real Ellen?"Ellen was surprised.

"Why should you be angry? I also don't know what the real Ellen is and I don't necessarily like her."Aldrich.

Ah right too! I'm a fool! But...when did he like me...?

Ellen was embarrassed to hear an indirect answer from Aldrich.

"Then, what should we do so that what the astrologer said did not happen? What if what he said was true? I don't think he's lying."Ellen was still afraid to think about the words of the astrologer.

Aldrich sighed, worrying about what the fortune teller said he should not have believed.

You fucking fortune teller!

"I don't know either. Let's just look ahead until our son is born."Aldrich chose to resign.

Ellen disagreed with Aldrich. He also planned to meet the fortune teller again who knew he could find a way out.

"I plan to see that fortune teller again, your majesty."Ellen.

"You sure?"Ask Aldrich.

Ellen nodded. "We should at least try to do something to make our children happy."Ellen said seriously.

"Well, if that's what you want."Aldrich said.

"Your Majesty, I have another request. Please keep my identity a secret from anyone. No one should ever know the truth about me unless it's just you and the fortune teller."Ellen Pinta.

"I won't tell you. They themselves will never realize it. Just relax."Aldrich.

"Thank you, your majesty."Ellen was so relieved.

"Hey, did I tell you not to call me noble anymore? Do you want me to punish?"Ask Aldrich.

"Ah, yes sorry.honey."Ellen said she was still shy to call that name.

Aldrich recalled what Ellen's family said when Ellen was unconscious. They said their daughter had different habits than they had known before. They explain that the real Ellen figure is a weak, timid and cold girl.

While the one he knew who now the figure of Ellen was a woman who was brave, outspoken, always cheerful and friendly, and certainly very caring for others.

He had swallowed his saliva that it seemed like Ellen's family had realized something from their daughter. But he chose not to tell Ellen that his wife was not thinking.

"So when are you planning on going to see that fortune teller?"Ask Aldrich.

"When it's faster it's better, right? Unfortunately I don't know where he lives. Not to mention he must have been offended because we kicked him out rudely. I'm so worried that he's got a grudge for what we did to him."Said Ellen while kneading her temple.

"We can find it again easily. Today we should rest first."Aldrich.

Ellen nodded and complied. What Aldrich said is true. Today he was tired of his thoughts.

The next day the two couples were getting ready to find the whereabouts of the fortune teller.

"Sister, where are you going?"Katherine asked to see her two brothers wanting to leave.

"There's work we need to finish outside. If you ask, answer as I tell you."Answer Aldrich.

"Oh, so fine."Reply Katherine.

"Where is the princess?"Ask Ellen.

"Mother is talking to her friends."Answer Katherine.

"Oh so."

When they reached the city, the two couples immediately became the center of attention of the surrounding residents. Ellen immediately felt nervous because of course the presence of the two of them made the residents become afraid.

"Your highness, are you sure that asking the residents is the right thing?"Ellen asked in a whisper.

"We have no other choice."Answer Aldrich.

Aldrich began to want to ask the people who were watching them. "Sorry we're interrupting your time, do you know an old lady who claims to be a fortune teller?"Ask Aldrich without further ado.

People looked at each other in astonishment and confusion. There was not long a young man who raised his hand.

"I know that grandma is noble!"The answer.

"Oh, who is he? Do you know where he lives?"Ask Aldrich.

"He lives in the city next to his majesty. If your majesty wants to find her, just say she wants to see Mrs Henston."Say the boy.

"Mrs Henston huh? Alright. Thank you for telling us. It's a gift for you."Aldrich said giving a piece of gold coin to the boy.

"Oh! Thank you very much, your majesty! May your Majesty the King and the Empress live happily ever after!"The boy was very happy.

"Thank you son. Oh yeah, by the way how did you get to know that grandma?"Ellen asked, curious.

"Ah, he used to help me a lot. She's a very good grandmother and already thinks of me like her granddaughter. I'm so glad he used to take me to play. Unfortunately he had to leave this city because the residents no one believed him."The boy said sad.

"Oh...why is he not trusted? Is it because of his status?"Ask Ellen again.

"Yes. People don't believe in so-called fortune-tellers anymore but they believe in the existence of invisible witches, weird right! But Henston's grandmother believed and she told herself that she was once a student of the witch. And because I saw him so sure, I believed him too."Say the boy again.

Ellen fell silent and Aldrich also looked at each other.

"Alright, thanks for the information, young man. We owe you. Then we'll go first."Ellen.

"Yes, my majesty, with pleasure!"He smiled widely.

Ellen replied with a smile and could imagine if she was with her son later.

Arriving in the next town, as the boy had said, they wanted to see Mrs Henston. Quickly one of the people told them his address.

"Your majesty, why do you both want to meet the fortune teller? Do you both believe in him?"Ask a guy they just asked. From his expression he looked a condescending smile.

"We just have to be with him."Answer Aldrich.

"Oh that? But why do you two have to bother coming here and why not just call him to the palace?"Ask the man in wonder.

"Can you stop asking?"Aldrich's questionback became upset because the man had said a lot.

The man was silent too. "I'm sorry, your majesty..."Frightened.

"Come on Ellen, we gotta hurry."Said Aldrich while pulling Ellen's hand.

"Your highness..."

Arriving at Mrs Henston's residence. The man gave me the address correctly. Mrs Henston came out as if she knew the couple were visiting her home.

"Oh, your Majesty the King and the honorable queen, I would not have thought that you two would come here."The astrologer kept smiling.

"As you say, you said that you were once a disciple of the witch. So can we know about him?"Ask Ellen to the point.
