"It's okay. You should have heard because you are already part of the royal family."Queen Irene said and she began to tell him.

Flashback to Aldrich's past.

Queen Irene and King Steven were married at a young age. King Steven is a warm and friendly person. Not with Queen Irene. She was a timid and cold woman because she was taught her parents hard without affection. They were betrothed but Queen Irene did not love King Steven. One day they are forced to have children to pass on the inheritance. Queen Irene was not ready and she became pregnant.

Her pregnancy made her stressed especially King Steven used to leave her to fight. Even when Aldrich was born, the king was nowhere to accompany him back then.

After King Steven returned, he happily carried Aldrich. Queen Irene felt her feelings mixed. He didn't know if he should be happy or sad.

Since then, King Steven has rarely gone to war again. Whether what makes the couple so close, they also created Aldrich's sister named Katherine. They are nearly 10 years old. Now Queen Irene can open her heart to King Steven because of the nature of King Steven that can melt her heart.

Aldrich can only be happy when there is a father. Because his mother often scolded him especially since his sister was born, he was rarely noticed. But even so, the feeling of an older brother, he still loved his sister in his own way.

One day there was a great war between the Valkyrie and the other country. The country had already lost a sign of defeat because the Valkyrie State had won it. But their victory must sacrifice a king Steven who is willing to risk his life.

Aldrich, who was very young at the time, was completely shocked to hear of his father's death. But all this time his father accompanied him with joy. Then because of his deep sadness, he swore to become a great King. Until he unknowingly became a King who was notoriously cold-blooded.

Then a sweet girl named Anna appeared. He came from the famous Duke family. They were able to meet because both of his parents were close friends with King Steven once. Her cheerful and mischievous carry, makes Katherine love to play with him because for her, Anna has already saved her gloomy life. Anna meets Aldrich. He never gave up on persuading Aldrich to be his friend.

Although Aldrich liked to abuse her and was rude to Anna, the girl did not care about him. Too tired to face the stubborn Anna, Aldrich finally resigned to what Anna did.

"So that's Ellen's story. Actually it's a disgrace because none of us have a good nature, except just my husband."Said Queen Irene after she was ready to tell a story.

"No problem mom. I am not a good woman myself. All there is a cause and a story until we are forced to choose this path. But I will strive to be a better woman and daughter-in-law for the future."Ellen.

Queen Irene was instantly moved to hear it.

"You're such a great woman Ellen. I remembered Anna and felt a little guilty about her because she had hoped to marry Aldrich. But somehow I hesitated to make her empress so I chose to betroth my son to you."

"I've often heard your stories from people that you're famous for having a lot of talent. Especially when playing sword and your confident and unique character."Queen Irene

"Eh really mom? Hehe, I'm so embarrassed to hear that..."Ellen said shyly but she felt proud.

"Yes right. Can I ask you one thing for help?"Pinta Queen Irene.

"Ah what is mom?"

"Lately since you've been around, Aldrich has changed a little. He always wanted you to be by his side. He was also rarely angry these few days."

"Eh but ma'am..wasn't we fighting last night because of Miss Anna? You know that, right?"

"Good Ellen. I will not hope fully with you. I'm only sure if you can make Aldrich change for the better."Said Queen Irene.

Ellen could only smile and nod. But her mind became confused considering that her husband had a strange nature.

A few days had passed, the couple was just preoccupied with endless work. Not to mention Ellen who was still thinking about her mother-in-law's request.

Aldrich even realized Ellen who often daydreamed and looked at him made it even more itchy to ask his wife.

"Why do you keep seeing me? Still got a grudge against me?"Finally Aldrich asked Ellen who was dumbstruck at him.

"Eh? Not the noble one! I have no grudges with you. Please don't prejudge me, I'm your noble wife."Ellen panicked.

"So why do you keep looking at me with those big eyeballs of yours?"Ask Aldrich again.

"Uh.that's because his majesty has a very handsome face! I like to see it because of your good looks!"Said Ellen with a face as red as a tomato.

Aldrich heard Ellen's statement. He has heard compliments from many people and girls. But not with his wife. All he knew was that Ellen was a woman who was quite prestigious especially when it came to praising her this time.

"What are you really doing today? Are you sick?" Ask Aldrich.

"I am not sick, your majesty! Never mind, forget your majesty. I've been thinking a lot of things lately."Ellen said, looking at her forehead feeling dizzy.

"Then why are you twitching your forehead like that?"

"Ah..ini I just feel a little sore..."Ellen.

Aldrich then suddenly called out to a servant. He told the maid to take Ellen to the room.

"Why was I taken to the noble room?"Ask Ellen wonder.

"I don't want any hassles if you suddenly fall unconscious here. You better go to the room to serve me tonight."Said Aldrich with his flat face.

He no longer had any shame! How could he say that with his flat face!? Hah..for a long time I was crazy...

The servant could only silently feel embarrassed to see the strange couple in front of him.
