The Greatest God

The Greatest God
The Temple of God Khema

Smelled delicious as the three of them returned to the village. Shin's stomach was made to speak because of it.

Who would have thought the villagers had made the dish as gratitude and celebration of their healing from the curse.

Even Zayin and Kane had already gathered some youths to train as warriors.

Over the past few years the brothers have tried to train some young men to practice but never managed to awaken their mana energy.

May the loss of the curse. Their energy can be generated to the maximum.

"It looks like we need to capture some undead for their training, " Khun suggested.

"Is that not too fast?"

Kai felt a little objection. The young men had just felt a hint of freedom. He did not want to rush to make them bear a heavy burden.

"Stop spoiling them. If you want to survive, you should make good use of this. I can help suppress those undead if they get out of control."

"What Mr. Khun said has a point, Brother. We also have to figure out a way to protect ourselves."

Kai finally agreed after hearing Kane's explanation. Kai forgets the important thing that the three of them are guests of the village. They won't stay and look after the others forever.

...ooo...

Kai sees Khun and Zayin helping Kane train the lads. Beyond a doubt the young men can learn very quickly.

Kai invited Shin to sit next to him. Follow the training process.

"Sorry we have to trouble you to stay a few more days here. "

"No problem. We don't feel bothered at all. Even we should thank you for helping us and the other villagers a lot."

"We plan to capture some of the undead while going to the temple of Dewa Khema tomorrow. "

"To the temple of Lord Khema?"

"really. Do you think we can meet Lord Khema there?"

"Why does Master Shen want to meet with Lord Khema?"

"There are some things I want to ask him."

"Didn't Lord Khema have been revealed to be a demon, are you sure this wouldn't be dangerous?"

"Danger or no, this is my duty."

"Tasks? What kind of tasks sound so dangerous?"

"Tasks that sound impossible. I just want the demons back where they belong."

"You want to catch the devil? Why did you have to arrest them?"

"Respension of sins. After all, isn't it good that all demons and ghosts return to the lower realms? Humans will no longer be haunted by their existence."

Kai was silent for a moment. He thought maybe what Shin said had a point.

If demons and ghosts return to the lower realms, no human will be disturbed. But can capturing demons be done by ordinary humans?

There's a chance they could do it. Especially Khun. He is too perfect as a human being. Kai believes Khun can be lifted to the sky if he succeeds in their task.

"Right, I just remember not asking where the gentlemen came from."

Shin confused. It was obvious he couldn't possibly say he was from the sky. The problem is that he is not good at lying either.

"We are from the north."

Kai turned to Khun who was already next to him with a body bathed in sweat.

The training is over. Kai was happy to see the young men look happy and did not complain in the least while training. Khun was very hard when he trained them.

"So Kai, can you take us to the temple?"

"By pleasure. I'm glad I could help."

...ooo...

Zayin and Kane live in the village to train other young men. Only Shin, Khun and Kai decide to enter the forest, to where the temple of Dewa Khema is located.

They decided to leave at sunrise.

As expected there were already many undead outside the protectors who were trying to enter the village.

Khun happily drew his sword. Only once did Khun's slash manage to make dozens of undead retreat backwards and fall.

Kai is again surprised by Khun's power. Not only did Khun beat them back, he even killed them alone. Cripple some and tie some in the trunk of the tree.

While passing by the undead Kai examines the roots of the tree Khun used to bind them.

Kai looked at Khun in disbelief. How big does he actually have? Is he a god or something?

Shin looked at Kai who was still fixated on where Khun was flowing at the tree roots. Smiling look at Kai's face which was full of admiration for Khun's technique.

Honestly, not Kai. He who is a god alone is still amazed by the strength of his friend.

"Kai, can you show me the way?"

Kai regained his senses and returned to guide them towards the temple.

Along the way to the middle of the forest, strangely they were not confronted by the undead at all.

Although it was good, but Shin felt this was a little awkward. He glanced at Khun who was walking next to him. I hope this is his doing.

Khun just smiled back at Shin's gaze. Yes, this is probably one of the other Khun techniques. Maybe he didn't want to make Kai even more surprised by her.

...ooo...

In front there are already seen some large statues that become the gate of the temple guard.

The temple is quite magnificent. It is unfortunate to be left out.

The roots of the wild plants had already covered the walls. The door of the room was also covered with spider webs.

Shin looked at the statue that was in the middle of the largest hall. It looks like it's a statue of Lord Khema.

"Khun?"

"Hmm?"

"Earlier all demons were gods, right?"

"true."

"So all have sinned until the great god sent them down to the lower realms."

"Yes." Yeah."

Shin looked at the majestic statue. Notah residents describe how tough Dewa Khema through this statue. Then why can they turn around and leave behind the god they have been worshipping.

"Then what sin did God Khema commit, to become a demon?"

"Maybe he just doesn't want to stay in the sky anymore. Who knows what he's thinking."

Hearing this, Kai did not understand what Khun was thinking. Not all warriors know the story of the descent of the 7 gods.

All written in the book including the story of Dewa Khema. It is clearly told that Lord Khema was wrathful and cursed his own servant.

The Great God who felt that the actions of Lord Khema did not reflect the nature of a god, ordered to lower it to the lower realms.

"Is not God Khema revealed to be a demon out of wrath to our village?"

Kai tried to explain it to them. Shin smiled at Kai and went back to explain.

"Dewa Khema is still a god. I don't think a god can get angry that easily at his own servant. He must have had another reason."

Shin was surprised to see Kai who was suddenly covered in tears hearing his explanation.

"Why are you crying? What did I say something was wrong?"

"No, there's no. My tears just flow."

Shin thought maybe Kai felt guilty about the curse his village received.

Kai tried to wipe his tears. I was embarrassed to cry a few times in front of them.

"Kai, what do you think of Lord Khema?"

Shin was just curious how the figure of God Khema was in the eyes of his servants.

Kai shook his head. "I can't comment much. It's all just a hereditary story I heard from the previous settlers."

"I'm sorry if I offended you, but I just can't judge people I haven't seen their mistakes with."

Shin thought maybe his words sounded as if siding with God Khema was clearly wrong in the eyes of the residents.

"No, it's not a problem. I don't mind myself either. I'm not in the stronghold of the haters or defenders of God Khema."

"Thank you for understanding. "

"Sister..sister...please!!!"

The three of them looked at the direction of the voice. Kane was running towards them.

Shin became anxious. The village is not okay.
