Ch.9- Azure He Wolf

"Fruit! Good morning General!"

Niel's deep sleep was spontaneously interrupted when a loud cheerful voice filled her hearing. The sleepy man was grieving slowly, trying to rest longer after being confronted with the incident he experienced last night.

Fortunately, even though his head hurt last night because of an unreasonable incident that happened to him, he was still able to follow the instructions of the deer and was able to return to where they were camping.

"Good morning too, Mr. Enzo. I've been cooking fish leftovers last night for breakfast. In a moment we will be setting out to fight the Azure He Wolf, so can you please wake up Mr Niel?"

Enzo gave the thumb to General Aldios' request while smiling in a knot. The young man did not look daunted even though he knew very well what painful things would happen when he tried to wake Niel up.

"No longer needed, General. I'm awake."

The young man with blue netra decided to wake up from his dream realm because he could not sleep again. He decided to pull out ten strands of Enzo's hair after they returned to Malchus Palace.

"Ah, good morning, Mr. Niel. Please eat the breakfast I have served."

Niel received a plate containing delicious food that General Aldios gave to him. He sat down beside Enzo before calmly eating his meal.

"Tumben once you've woken up before I wake you, Niel. Did you wake up yesterday and decide to go back to sleep?"

The on-target question that Enzo was asking left Niel frozen. He does not answer Enzo's questions and chooses to keep his mouth shut before Enzo who is used to Niel's behavior changes the subject.

Niel looked at Enzo and General Aldios, who were chatting in excitement. His sharp eyes he squinted towards Enzo's back so that the target felt his hair standing without any reason he knew.

"General, are we really going to hunt the Azure He Wolf after this?" Enzo asked while chewing his food.

General Aldios nodded, "Azure He Wolf does have a unique characteristic that he becomes much stronger in the morning. So if you kill him when it is still morning, the results obtained will also be greater. Although of course there is a risk of severe injury that is quite large."

Enzo fell silent and continued to eat the fish. Niel closed his eyes, looking to digest General Aldios' words. Niel was a little nervous when he found out that after he finished his fish, the three of them would face the Azure He Wolf who was storied as a medium-level Hell Beast.

"General, according to your own estimation as a General of a sizable kingdom, just how strong are the beast tiers to your limits?" Niel asked while biting the fish he had in his grasp.

General Aldios was slightly surprised when he heard Niel's question, "I am at most capable of defeating hundreds of low-level Hell Beasts and around dozens of medium-sized Hell Beasts. Maybe if I'm lucky, I can defeat one high-level Hell Beast."

Niel and Enzo held their breaths when they heard General Aldios' confident statement. The title of Elite General held by Aldios is not just a name!

Srak.

Niel sharpened his sense of hearing, "Hey, did you guys hear that?"

General Aldios did not say a word and simply gnawed his eyeballs to glance into the forest.

"I didn't hear anything, did I?" Chirps Enzo with an astonished expression when he saw the serious look of Niel and General Aldios.

Srak!

Ah, now he clearly heard it.

General Aldios immediately stood up and frowned, while Niel and Enzo bit down the fish meat on their plates first before positioning themselves to fight.

Grp...

Niel and Enzo's breathing is restrained.

A pair of bright yellow eyes slowly came out from the bush. The dense fur is blue and stands upright, sharp claws that can be used as a tool of self-defense or hunting tools, and, the long blue tail swayed left right slowly with pointed teeth that did not forget to show off.

"This.. Is Azure He Wolf." General Aldios said as he looked at the wolf grimly. Niel and Enzo immediately put up a standby position, General Aldios advanced towards the wolf slowly while brandishing his sword of pride.

The wolf that was originally just growling directly charged towards General Aldios. General Aldios repelled the wolf attack with his sword, instructing Enzo and Niel to attack the wolf.

"Azure He's a weak Wolf with the element of darkness, Mr. Niel!" General Aldios said as he held back the wolf that was about to bite him.

Actually General Aldios can kill the wolf without any distress, but there is no way he takes the valuable experience that both young men need under his watch, right?

Niel pulled out a white magic wand that was as tall as his body. Niel looked at the wolf while pointing the stick to the ground,

"Intermediate Dark Magic: Swallowing Dusk!"

The plaques!

Niel stomped the stick in his grip over the ground violently and instantly an elongated black shadow appeared and entered the ground. The shadow looked like it was racing in there, running towards the wolf.

After which, the black shadow instantly enveloped the Azure He Wolf like a sphere. The wolf suddenly howled frantically, soon realizing that he had been 'trapped' by Niel.

Niel gulped, his hands slowly starting to pour cold sweat, 'As expected of a medium-level Hell Beast, they were able to see firsthand the barrier I made.'

General Aldios immediately jumped himself behind to avoid the ferocious rampage of the wolf being resisted. He then thrust his sword into the trapped wolf's stomach to hold it in motion and to keep the wolf still stuck on the ground.

Niel immediately threw away his thoughts and resuscitated the dumb-ass Enzo, "Enzo, now!"

Enzo immediately regained consciousness from Niel's scream with a glint appearing in his eyes. He raised both hands in front of his chest, swiftly reciting a magic spell while transferring Mana into his hands.

"Intermediate Light Magic: Glimmers' Veiling!"

A ball of light shot out of Enzo's hand. The ball grew bigger and bigger as the distance of the light ball was shortened with Azure He Wolf.

Bam!

The sound of explosions rang out loud until it felt like it was going to blow up the eardrums of the three of them.

Niel closed her eyes tightly. Sighing in relief as it managed to avoid the incident where its body was thrown into the sky if only Niel did not make a barrier. It would have felt like Niel cursed Enzo if only his condition was not what it is now.

Psshhh...

Smoke clustered around the battle area due to the explosion. Niel shook his hand to dissipate the smoke, occasionally coughing due to the smoke.

After the smoke had disappeared, Niel saw a bright blue crystal floating right above the wolf's corpse's head. Niel also saw Enzo whose face was black with hair standing straight, making the white-haired young man smirk evilly.

'Feel the karma of waking me up!'
