The Angel of Heaven I Wasted
Annisa's sincerity

Annisa went into her room to prepare the prayer rugs they would use for the magrib prayer together.

After that he went ablution and immediately put up his face and still veiled.

Reyfan entered the room with a white Koko shirt making him more handsome.

To make Anisa touched. Actually, he had long wanted to pray together with his husband. But the circumstances of her two previous husbands did not permit. Even though he realized that Reyfan did not want.  However, deep down Annisa hopes that one day Reyfan can accept her as a wife.

They started with their Magrib prayers. 

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh" Reyfan said, turning to the right and left with the sign that the prayer was over.

Anisa smiled in her heart she admired Reyfan's melodious voice in chanting the sacred verses.

"The sound is good too" murmured Nisa.

After the prayer Reyfan immediately went to leave.

"Eh, you don't pray first? Just play go away?" ask Annisa.

Reyfan snorted in annoyance.

"It is important to pray."

"When you pray, this is the right time for you to ask the Almighty God. Learn to always be close to him and be assured, if God will grant all your prayers."

Reyfan sat back down while stretching his hands up.

"Oh, I thought we were praying."

"Why do you have to think? Can't you just pray?"

"It is not permissible, but the remembrance is the counsel of Allah and His Messenger. Dhikr makes our hearts peaceful and serene."

"Ehm, I've forgotten how Dzikir finished praying."

"Follow me."

Anisa recites the way of dhikr after finishing praying.

After the remembrance of each one they prayed in their hearts.

"Allah, who turns over his servant's heart, guides him to return to the straight path. May you open your heart to accept the servant as his wife. Forgive his sins and keep him from transgression."

"O Allah is the servant of the Lord, give the servant a good wife, Sholeha and keep her chastity."

Both of them said Aamiin.

After praying Reyfan was about to leave the room.

"Hey, where are you going! Don't we have to teach?" annisa.

"Otherwise?" dengus Reyfan's.

"You must teach and memorize at least one long surah usually before asking for a Sholeha girl, you will be tested by memorizing certain surahs."

"Huh? How hard is it to get a Sholeha girl?"

Anisa smiled behind her veil.

"Of course, what do you think is easy to marry a boarding school girl?"

"Are your two future husbands also proposing to you by recitation of the Qur'an?"

"Because my previous husband was a graduate of the pesantren. But not only that, the circumstances did not allow that time."

"Why?"reyfan asked a little curiously.

'Because when I got married, my first husband was in the hospital with terminal cancer."

"Why do you want to marry a sick man?" ask Reyfan who thinks it's stupidity.

"Because since childhood we were betrothed and our plan will be married after I finished my education at the boarding school. But unfortunately a year before I finished school, my future husband was diagnosed with malignant cancer. His last wish was to be with me at the end of his life. We got married in the hospital as well, after three days of marriage, she was called by the almighty."

"Huh so you two haven't had time to honeymoon and sleep together?"

Anisa shook her head.

"Then why would you marry if only to give you the status of a widow?"

"Because the status of widows is not bad for me. It's just a status pinned on society."

"Then your second marriage?"

Anisa breathed a long breath.

"It happened almost the same, at that time I was proposed by a TNI officer. He asked for our marriage to be expedited because of his year-long plan he would be assigned to a remote area. Seven days after we got married, I got back the news that the plane carrying my husband and his partner had an accident."

Anisa's voice sounded soft.

"If your two previous husbands were good people, then why accept an arranged marriage with me, does my father not tell me how my character is?" ask Reyfan.

"Because your father begged Abi Abdullah to persuade my parents to have my family accept this match." 

"What?! did you beg? Do you think I'm not doing anything."

"Not so, at that time Abi Abdullah gave several prospective wives to you from some Santriwati from his students to his nephew. Though at that time I was not included in the candidate of your future wife, somehow when your father saw me, he actually dropped the choice on me."

"But why should you be the one you choose?  why aren't santriwati still awake chastity?" ask Reyfan to protest.

Annisa smiled back behind her veil.

"I don't know for sure why your father chose me. At that time my father and mother had already told the truth if I had been widowed twice. We even suggested that he marry the girl who had been chosen by Abi Abdullah. But he still insisted on asking me in the hope that one day I can change you into a better person. He trusted me and had full hope for me."

Reyfan smiles. 

"My dad was wrong, right? it wasn't you who changed me, but I changed because I wanted you out of my life."

Anisa again smiled bitterly behind her veil.

"God is all about flipping over someone's heart Sir, don't be too sure of what is in your heart and mind right now.What your father should say is true too. If you don't meet me, maybe you won't change yourself for the better, just because you feel unlucky marrying me,you will come alone and ask God to give a soul mate that suits your desires."

Reyfan was flirting with such a poignant answer.

"You're so sure" Reyfan snorted.

"Everything in this world is a gift from God, but there will be a human hand as an intermediary."

"If someone is sick, then someone will go to the doctor, what should be because the doctor who healed? No, all because of God's help through the doctor. So do I, even though I never expected in your life, but because you want to get rid of me from your life, you can change your life for the better . And I'm willing to help you open up a new chapter in your life to be better, until you find the happiness you've been craving all along, God willing."

Reyfan is like hypnotized by the words of Anisa to look without blinking 

Is he so sincere? Until willing to be hurt for the happiness of someone who always looks down on him?
