Part 249 - Just Wanted to Know

"Edward Jackson" said the man, shaking Zee's hand.


After this, the chat continued in Indonesian, othor mah weak in foreign languages. It wants the language of the planet just genes. 🤧


Zee's forehead is still wrinkled. He was unfamiliar with the name Edward Jackson. He also felt that he had never heard that name before. However, Zee still allowed his guests to sit down.


"Please sit down, sir." Zee invited his guests.


"Thank you" Edward replied, sitting on a sofa just across from Zee. His eyes spread throughout the room, focusing on Zee's face.


Zee was still staring curiously at the face of his guest. After a while, Zee asked.


"Before, I'm sorry. Have we met before?" ask Zee.


Edward looked at Zee with a slightly judging expression. The man, who was about thirty years old, immediately shook his head.


"Yet. We've never met before."


Zee nodded his head. Still frowning in confusion, he asked again.


"Then, if I may know, what do you need to come here?"


"Actually, I came here just to confirm something. I'm really curious."


With a still confused expression, Zee was still waiting for his guest's explanation.


"Confirm? You mean confirm what?"


Edward looked at Zee's face fixedly before replying.


"I just want to know if you know Kiara Adina's daughter? A sophomore at university X?"


"Of course I know Kiara. If you can tell, who are you?"


Edward cleared his throat for a moment before answering Zee's question. "I am a new lecturer at the Kiara campus. I'm from Finland, and just taught this semester in Kiara's class. Since the beginning of Kiara's class, I've been interested in her."


"I've tried many times to approach Kiara, but I always don't get a response. In fact, Kiara always said that she was married and had children. However, she was always unwilling to confess if I asked her who her husband was. I thought, he was just lying to avoid it."


"And, yesterday I just got information from one of Kiara's good friends about the family of Kiara's husband. If I want to know who Kiara's husband is, I have to come to the GC office and see the owner. Can I get that information from you?" edward asked while still looking at Zee's face.


Approximately, what does Zee feel when he finds out there are people who like his wife? 


Of course Zee really wants to go berserk. Even if he could, Zee wanted to tear his mouth and gouge out Edward's eyes who had dared to look and like his wife. However, Zee was all her might holding back those emotions.


There was no way he would go on a rampage in the office while Gen was sleeping inside the room. Zee doesn't want Gen to feel distracted and see himself go berserk.


Zee took a deep breath to supply the oxygen that entered his body. After feeling quite calm, Zee just made a sound.


"Before you came here, have you found out any information about GC?" ask Zee. 


Edward nodded his head. "Of course it is. However, I did not get any information about the GC owner or any information about Geraldy."


"Aren't you supposed to understand why you didn't find any information about Geraldy? Then why are you coming here?"
