Part 107's

Zee immediately choked upon hearing Kiara's call. He immediately coughed. Zee hit his chest that felt tight.

Kiara suddenly panicked to see the husband's behavior. He hurriedly stood up and immediately rubbed Zee's back.

"Dear, sorry, sorry. I'm sorry," said Kiara. Either he was innocent or intentionally so. Kiara is completely unaware Zee is choking on her nickname. Uh, this is repeated again.

Zee rounded his eyes with his throat still hot as a result of choking. However, he immediately tried to control his breathing so as not to sting.

Zee shook his head a few times while still feeling Kiara's strokes on his back. 

"Already, already. I'm better." Zee asks Kiara to stop the swab of her hand.

Kiara immediately stopped the swab of her hand on Zee's back. After that, he immediately returned to his seat. His face suddenly turned pale when he realized Zee was looking at him. She was worried that Zee would scold her.

"Sorry," Kiara again apologized to Zee.

Zee breathed in the air before making a sound.

"Did mommy ask you to call me that?" Zee was really surprised. 

She thought, if her mommy would ask Kiara to call her with a call 'mas' like the mommy and mama call daddy and papa. However, it turns out that his guess was wrong. Her mom really managed to surprise her.

Kiara nodded her head while looking down. His two hands were also still remassing each other under the table. Again Zee could only exhale his heavy breath.

"Don't call me that again" Zee said. He just didn't want to feel uncomfortable if it was in front of a lot of people and Kiara called out to him with such a call.

However, Kiara means another word Zee. He immediately raised his head with a frown. What if Kiara is surprised and, disappointed?

Zee realizes Kiara's expression and hurriedly explains so that his wife doesn't misunderstand.

"Ehm, I mean it like this. I'm just not comfortable if you use that nickname in front of a lot of people. Just call 'mas' like mommy. But, if you're at home, you can call me that if you want" Zee said.

Kiara who initially misunderstood was now finally able to understand. He seemed embarrassed to have thought the no-no. Kiara immediately nodded her head.

'i-yes, Ma-mas." Kiara's face was hot as she said it. He also kept his head down. I don't know why he's had such a low sense of self since his father died.

Zee felt quite relieved after hearing that. That call looks more natural when compared to the 'honey' call'.

That night, Zee and Kiara try to get to know each other. Although Zee should always ask Kiara first, what kind of food allergy does she have? If Kiara wants to continue college, roughly want to continue in what department? And there are many more Zee questions. And, of course Kiara also asked Zee the same thing.

By eleven o'clock at night, they looked tired. Currently, Zee and Kiara were both already on the bed. Both were leaning on the head of the bed with a blanket covering their legs.

With a slight glance towards Zee, Kiara nodded her head hesitantly. Zee already knew that his wife was really sleepy. Kiara yawned a few times.

"Sleep. Starting tonight, we'll share a room and a bed. I'm asking you, you can start getting used to it" Zee said.

Kiara nodded her head. The father-in-law said it a few times this afternoon.

"Ehm, for the others, I ask that we can start slowly. We need to get used to it first. Do not feel burdened with the wife's obligation to do 'it' now or in the near future. I'm not gonna ask or force you to do 'it' as soon as possible."

This was what Kiara had been thinking since this afternoon. To ask, he did not dare either. However, his heart immediately felt relieved when he heard Zee's words. He feels very grateful.

"I-iya, Mom. Thank you." Thank you." Kiara turned to look at Zee while commenting on her smile.

Afterwards, both Zee and Kiara tried to close their eyes. No icing or 'already' activities are expected, because they need to adjust first.

That morning after breakfast, Zee, Kiara, and Zee's parents rushed straight to the hospital where Kiara's grandmother was being treated. During this time, Kiara's grandmother was treated in the hospital. Kiara usually visits every three days or four days because of limited costs.

During this time, Kiara's stepmother bore the cost of the grandmother's treatment, as compensation because Kiara's land had been sold.

About an hour later, Zee's car had entered the hospital parking area. They immediately walked towards the ICU room where Kiara's grandmother was being treated.

In the ICU room, patients are not allowed to visit. Visitors can only see through the glass.

Ken and Zee go straight to the doctor, while Gitta accompanies Kiara. From the information provided by the doctor, Ken and Zee were quite surprised to hear it. Grandma Kiara's condition has really gotten worse. In fact, since two days ago, his condition had already been completely critical. 

The doctor also informed her that Kiara's grandmother was not allowed to be transferred to another hospital. Inevitably, they will continue to take care of Kiara's grandmother in the hospital.

And, even more surprisingly, it turns out that over the past two weeks, Kiara's grandmother's hospital fees were not paid by Kiara's stepmother. Ken and Zee were really furious at hearing that.

Zee goes straight to the administration to pay for all the shortcomings and selects the best facilities for Kiara's grandmother.

That day, they decided to go back to the hotel. Ken and Zee will think of the best solution to solve this problem. However, they have not been able to get to the hotel, there is a call from the hospital on Zee's cellphone.

Zee was quite surprised when he heard the news that Kiara's grandmother had just breathed her last.
